FoxConnect Black Friday deal are up!

Hope they add more as I'm interested in Miller's Crossing on Blu for $4 but need $21 more to hit the free shipping.

Lol, huge burn to the people who passed up the 50% off sale.  Not one thing I ordered during 50% off is even on sale:

Fargo Season 1

Harry and Tonto

Much Ado About Nothing

Escape From New York

History of the World Part 1

White Men Can't Jump

All That Jazz

This is exactly what I thought would happen. I'm glad I secured my order during 50% off.

Wow, this is rubbish compared to that 50% deal a couple of weeks back.  The only blu-ray deal I saw was the entire set of Dollhouse for 13 bucks, but IDK... I don't remember liking that show enough to try to watch it again.

Can I now have a fun laugh at all the people who were going to wait for this sale instead of the 50% off one?

Rise of the Planet of the Apes for 6.99 is good deal.

Edit-Actually this is the old one, but it says new release 12/2/14. I think Dawn of the Apes is the new one.

They clearly insulted your honor. I think you should challenge them to a dual!
Those who did the responsible thing and waited get screwed, while those who went the instant gratification route were rewarded. It's like a high school giving diplomas "with honors" to all the dropouts. Fortunately, these 50% sales are hardly scarce, and there will likely be another one before New Years (or shortly thereafter), but that's not much solace when I know there are many delinquents out there enjoying their Dawn of the Planet of the Apes right now, while I have to wait.

They have a sale, you buy at the sale.  It's not "instant gratification, we waited for that sale.  Instead many people got greedy and wanted to see if they could get an even better than 50% off sale, they didn't.  You gambled and you lost.

And no one is forcing you to wait, buy from a different store, but isn't that giving in to instant gratification?

Going a little overboard there. I knew the stuff I ordered during 50% off was unlikely to be on sale for Black Friday. Fargo was too new and everything else I ordered wasn't mainstream enough. It made the most sense to secure the deal while it was there and applied to everything.

And no, I'm not enjoying my Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, my stuff hasn't even shipped yet.

Wow, the douchebaggery is strong in this thread...

But regardless I would like to thank the OP for posting this. I agree it doesn't seem like as many good deals as last year, but I still found enough to round out an order for free shipping.

LOL...come on with that attitude. "Those who did the responsible thing". You rolled the dice (and as Green Giant mentioned, you got greedy wanting better than 50%). What promise was there that prices would be better later? Just because they're "supposed to be"? Sorry, but Black Friday isn't like it used to be. It's barely even defined anymore. I mean, look. We're STILL 4 days out from actual Black Friday and a lot of sites have been doing flash sales and deals since last week.

How could anybody possibly know what's going to be on sale...or even in stock by the time Friday rolls around? The line of thinking I've been sticking to is if you want something, and you see if at a price that seems like a great deal to you, don't wait. Online Black Friday deals are too unreliable now to make any assumptions. Even if something did go on sale again, how much better is the deal really going to be? You could wait around just to see the same deal again. Or you could miss out entirely.

Also, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes doesn't come out until 12/2. So, don't worry, us "delinquents" are waiting too.

Don't know if it will be the case this year, but last year not only did they do this again during the Thanksgiving-New Years frame, but they lowered many of the prices on the older titles. They also held another, much better sale just prior to X-Mas.

Mite pick up futurama,I.been wanting to watch 24 also, is that a good deal at $6 season or cheaper else where?

Edit: never mind is not even for all the seasons lol

Was looking to pick up futurama and Prometheus triple pack but shipping kills it for me lol

Actually, looking at old threads, it appears they did the EXACT same thing last year (weird how we don't remember).

50% off Sale on 11/7/13

https://www.cheapassgamer.com/topic/322120-foxconnect-sale-most-blu-raydvds-50-off-with-flash-code/

Black Friday Sale 2013

https://www.cheapassgamer.com/topic/323038-foxconnectcom-black-friday-sale-live/

And they did another 50% off sale on 1/30/14

https://www.cheapassgamer.com/topic/326635-deadfoxconnectcom-flash-sale-50-off-order-with-coupon/

Looking at my orders, this matches up, as I have two large orders on 11/29/13 (Black Friday) and 1/30/14. I don't see anything between BF and Christmas.

Might get Sunny seasons 7 and 8 along with the King of the Hill seasons. I know it says Black Friday but will we be given a few days to pick and or see what we want? Would love this to last until say the first of December? I seem to recall last year's sale lasted awhile.
