New month, means new month of pick ups! Share them with us!

Im spending 400+ on textbooks, so I wont be buying much. :(
 
I picked up a certified refurbished Cisco/Linsys E1000 router for $2.50 at a big lots that was closing and I am pretty happy with it. It only took about 15 minutes to set up my pc, phone, and 2 PS3s. 90% off FTW!!

 
Gave in and finally bought an Amiibo. I didnt find too many resellers locally when I searched CL and Ebay but of course Target and GS still never have the "rare" ones. Maybe people are actually keeping them for themselves.........I did hear from a coworker the GS employees werent even putting the rarer ones on the shelf if any came in but who knows if thats true. Saw this one Bowser sitting in with the multiples of Marios/Luigis/Zeldas/DK/etc so I decided to grab him.

One will be mines. And the other is for a friend.  I missed Little Mac/Pit/MetaKnight which the other two would of been bait for. I'm not paying over retail for any amiibo, and this way I don't have too.

 
Was at a local used media store and saw they got a stack of original Xbox games in. Took a look and found Futurama for $12.99. One of the pricier original Xbox games I was missing so I snagged it.

 
Was at Walmart to get a new printer and was looking in their video game bin and found this for the ultra expensive price of $0.02.



They also had Worms 3D, but it was not on file so they wouldn't let me have it.

I've been hunting that one down for a while now with no success.

The game is pretty crummy from what I hear, but I'm a huge Futurama fan, so gotta have it at some point.
 
In nearby Pilot Point, TX, I stopped in at a store called Alco (http://www.alcostores.com/) -- which a friend described to me as "sort of like Wal-Mart before they added the food part".  He told me they are going out of business, and the video games and "media" (blue-rays, etc.) are 70% off currently.  There are lots of other stuff on sale, toys, clothes, household goods, tools, pretty much every department that a grocery store has.  I even got some Advil for almost nothing.   :)

Anywho, I've never head of the store (Pilot Point's a small town, and maybe that's where they set up shop) or how wide spread it is, but it may be worth checking out.  There were lots of movies left, some TVs, and some gaming stuff that usually gets taken at lesser discounts than this.  So, maybe the small town factor -- less people, less store traffic -- means less pickover.  Anyway, this is what I picked up:

Got Guitar Hero Bundle for the DS for 3 bucks, and Band Hero Bundle for 6.  I guess I can sell/trade the extra Guitar Hero peripheral for something else.

Got the Abyss Special Edition (used copy, but I don't mind) for about a dollar.

Terminator (new) for about 2 bucks.

And the Fast & Furious 6 DVD Blue Ray combo for about 8 dollar dee dar.

That's my humble haul.

Ive been wanting those WON Series 2 figures! Havent seen them at the local Target or Kmart, which is where I got the first series. I got these from Best Buy and Target the other day. 2 for me and one for trade bait. 



.......they also had a  fuck n New 3DSXL but the computer wouldnt let him sell it till Friday! I just wanted to say "LOOK WHAT I GOT!" and ya know rub it in peoples faces! :p

Cant wait for local stores to start getting wave 2. Big Bad Toy Store has em, but for all of wave 2 it'd be $141 shipped vs. the $98 + Tax they'd be @ Target/TRU.

BBTS lists them as coming out in March so hopefully that's when they'll start to show up in B&M stores as well.

First a little rant, Best Buys site said the Meta Knight Amiibo was available for pickup this morning. I get up and get there before the store opens. They arent on the shelf so I had an employee look up the SKU on the computer. He says "hmmm yeah there should be six around here somewhere, just a sec". He comes back and says "yeah I found the box but it says "12/31/15". I said "thats probably just a place holder date, Amazon does that to." He goes and gets one, scans it, .......computer wont let him sell it. I didnt get mad at him because its not his fault, he was more than happy to go look and said he would sell it if he could. I dont like how in green letters the site says "Pickup Today In Store" for all the local BBs. 

But I also got these free so it kinda made the trip better. Thanks to Erewards I was able to print 6 "$10 Off Any 1 Gamestop Item" coupons. I also had a $10 giftcard to take care of the remaining $3.25 for each. Had to do 3 transactions to use 3 coupons.

got my new 3ds from gamestop and the 2 games,  godzilla movies and earthsea from walmarts, vita games from Target.
 
N64 loose cart collection is complete thanks to ol' Wayne Gretzky.

All 296 US releases, plus 4 JP games and (most) of the 64DD library (which I will likely never complete as the last 2 games run about 400-500 bucks each)

Congrats wiggyx. Wayne gretzky 3d hockey was the first boxed 64 game I ever found second hand. If I would've known that was the last one you needed I would have just sent it to you free of charge. Awesome job finding all those.

Finally the backordered stuff came in. Took about 2 months. :lol: Now, I caN start watching Slayers.



Picked these up at the local Thrift Stores, 3.00 and .75 respectively.

Wow all N64 games in America Jeez.

Well, I went and bought the complete Reno 911 series today for $25 with triple Best Buy points that was going on. That was a little splurge on my end, considering I could've picked a few retro things up at a local store that opened recently.

 
It's a small library and I had about 100 games before deciding to go for em all, and luckily I had a large number of the more expensive games. The only one that still bugs me was that Clayfighter sculptor's cut purchase. 200 bucks loose cart. Ugh. That one stung.

I gave up my N64 collection about two years back after collecting about 25 games but they are all the first party popular titles that I got for pennies on the dollar not retail.

I mean I got super smash cart only shipped for $10 it cost the seller $4 to ship it.

A lot of the library is shovelware so I couldn't justify the purchases.

There are a few more titles I'm after to consider my N64 collection complete and I'm not paying retail either.

I'm extremely proud of my N64 collection and the prices I paid. Lots of doubles helped and avoiding shovelware.
 
My Target run went better than expected. I went there today to pick up Season 1 of Game of Thrones since it was on sale for $30. Used a $15 gift card on it.

Did pretty okay today. Stopped in and found a copy of .hack Quarantine for $29.99 at a local shop. Missing the manual but still an easy flip. I already have the game. Had the DVD/case/etc. Funny thing is it was in a stack with 5 of the other .hack games in the case (all but the 3rd GU) and they were asking $69.99 for the  first GU title. Maybe they left a 1 off of the front on Quarantine, ha ha. The guy who rung me up realized it right away. He's usually really chatty but when he saw the price he would barely look at me, ha ha.

Also grabbed Outrigger for Dreamcast for $10.99, Metal Slug 7 DS for $12.99 and a couple of boxed Intellivision games dirt cheap.

Everything was from Gamestop, either instore/website/app except the black New 3DSXL and the Sheik Amiibos which came from Walmart. Everything was retail price except Link and 1 Fox, used $10 off coupons so they were only $3 apiece!

I just got Fox today but technically all non-Zelda related amiibos are recent pick ups from the past week. Get only the Zelda ones I said....oh well.
Also been checking Walgreen's almost daily for those Pops just found them finally today! Damage on the Black suit Spidey box but I'm still ecstatic to have it in my collection. Cyclops and Deadpool are from Hot topic buy 1 get 1 50% off

I have venom and punisher but cannot find a black suit spidey or 2099 anywhere. The inventory tracking for Walgreens sucks too. Quite envious!

Picked up a PS4 last week with Infamous Second Son. Quick Question how do you upload photos? Photobucket or is there a way to do it on the site?

 
So my .hack Quarantine doesn't work. Best guess is that it's due to a small, hardly noticeable top side scratch. Strangely, the DVD doesn't work either and I can't find any damage there. I would think fake almost if the discs didn't look so perfect, and comparing it to my copy (which works, my first thought was maybe my PS2 went out, ha ha) didn't look so perfect. Guess I'm taking it back after work today...

Some people use sites like Photobucket or image shack.

I upload them to facebook in a pick ups album and then upload them here.
