GGT 261 talks about comics and manga

anyone in here use ps3 media server to stream to their ps3?

I can't figure out where I can get my renderers from... I don't have anything installed other than ps3 media server, so it seems I'm missing stuff like ffmpeg, but I have no idea what to install to get these missing renderers and google isn't helping.
I used too, but I don't remember ever downloading other stuff to get it to work.

Can't you just download a ffmpeg package and be done with it?

So its ok to completely steal another game as long as it states it an homage to the metroidvania genre. Cool I'm going to make a mega man genre type game since capcom doesn't want to.

That's what I thought -- but when I fought the ffmpeg for windows package, it was just a directory -- so I had no idea where to "install" it so media server would recognize it...

P4G question:

What's the best party for taking on the "final" story boss?

Final Story Boss spoilers:

The thing that Adachi turns into... I forget the name of it at the moment -- the giant eyeball sphere

Last time I had MC, Teddie, Yukiko, Naoto and I got wrecked.

I've been leveling up MC, Yukiko, Yosuke, and Chie... but Chie seems pretty useless... she doesn't have "god fist" yet and not sure you get it from leveling...

So yeah, open to suggestion... I'd really like to take this fucker down tonight and start moving beyond 12/08.

...why does Chie not have God's Hand yet?

Did they change the skill level stuff in P4G? I know they added some skills but I thought that was like backend stuff or something.

I'm not sure if that's a SLink skill (like true Persona form deal) or something... but she's level 64 or so and doesn't have it.

Apparently it's level 70 for her... guess I should keep grinding then.

Edit:

MC 82

Yosuke 75

Chie 65

Yukiko 80

Rise 83

Kanji 61

Naoto 73

Teddie 75

Pretty sure I was running MC, Yukiko, Kanji, and Naoto for that one. If it wasn't Naoto, it was Yosuke. Can't remember levels, though. I just remember the fog turns being the important ones. Buff while you can, then defend.

Sidebar: I'm not far into Dream Team yet, but I already pretty much love it.

It sounds like you're trying to cut out cable. I ended up just buying a cheap HTPC and I run XBMC. The Acer Revo I think. That was back like 2-3 years though.

Went and saw We're the Millers tonight. It was significantly better than I expected. The jokes are way dirtier too.

I'm seriously thinking about it.

There were a few "I don't know how to handle that" problems... like watching the NFL on the major networks (FOX, CBS, ESPN, NBC, etc.)/NFL Network.

Also need to figure out the best device to stream with that's not a PC for my upstairs bedroom and another potentially for the other living area.

We were trying to stream Under the Dome from my netbook to the PS3, after having the PS3 not able to use h.264 or mkv or whatever. And so I went to the PS3 Streaming option, but can't figure out what software I'm missing for the ffmpeg and various other renderers.

I'm finding Xillia extremely boring and its grinding time in Dragon's Crown, i think both games are way overhyped. DC is a 8 at best, I liked Muramasa more.

Metacritic has it at 83.

So yeah, 3 points overhyped. I see how your opinion differs. I mean, unless you round down but that's besides the point.

I never had great luck with the PS3 streaming or using the ps3mediaserver software.

I liked using MC, Yukiko, Yosuke (he has a nice mix of healing and such) and Chie. Naoto is actually worth using in Golden, so you *could* use her. Depending on what you're having difficulty with, you can always use Teddie since his buffs are pretty boss.

Pretty sure I was running MC, Yukiko, Kanji, and Naoto for that one. If it wasn't Naoto, it was Yosuke. Can't remember levels, though. I just remember the fog turns being the important ones. Buff while you can, then defend.

Who the hell uses Kanji?

He's that one character that has the best character development but nobody plays because he's sucky.

Then again, I'm not sure if they made him any better in Golden, so whatevs!

It's a Tales game.

It plays like Tales game, the pacing is like a Tales game and the combat is like a Tales game.

I'm not sure what you were honestly expecting.

Almost caught up with the Attack on Titan anime. I'm fucking loving it.

Any of you guys read the manga? I'm wondering how far ahead it is since they only release an issue a month apparently.

What episode are you on? Crunchyroll has all the episodes and usually posts them up an hour after they are aired.
i think the last episode i watched was 14? not sure, basically the episode when Eren was being charged at the trial, and they were deciding his fate. in the end,Recon Corps gain custody of him. ERen was to be set on a mission with the recon corps to proof his worth, of whether they can control him.

Is Crunchyroll like a Nutroll? Or like a cake roll?
crunchyroll is basically a site that lets you watch east asian media, such as anime, manga, films, drama, music. basically , a safe haven for those like weaboos, who like to enjoy those things without paying, and for free.
