GGT 268's most prestige member(s) bought KoFXIII on Steam

Pokemon X/Y and Monster Hunter 4 dawg. You'll be missin' out big time w/o yo 3DS.

I just backed Hyper Light Drifter. That's the third KS I've backed this month. Staahhhhp.

Also, Action! might get a kick out of it, but I just sold off one of my toys to a dude who works at Tell Tale Games.
I saw this one before http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/mendheim/mutant-football-league?ref=live

I loved the original on the genesis but dunno if that will even hit that goal or not, seems like a lot of money for a football game, and the stretch goals are crazy stupid, I'd still love to see another one happen though

I have no interest in Pokemon or Monster Hunter. I just can't get into/through those kind of time sink games. Especially on portables.

I'm mostly trying to stick with twenty hour and under games these days.

You guys are missing out.

Anyways, I love my 3DS and my Vita, even though I don't potable at lot.  I've always been fascinated by handheld systems.

Every day I'm Animal Crossing. I get to work usually like 45 minutes early and it's great to get a short session in. Haven't been playing Mario & Luigi a bunch, but the next game I'm getting is Zelda so I want that to last. Pokemon is unlikely unless it comes in an XL bundle which may happen around Black Friday or something who knows...

Dream Team? Game was a blast; loved that one.

I've been out of Pokemon for several generations now, but I guess it's been long enough for me to get crazy re-hyped about it. I'm really looking forward to it.

I probably do more portable gaming than console gaming at this point. I think that's why I like my Vita so much. I get to play catch up with games like MGS 2 & 3.

I'd actually be all for a Vita at this point but the memory cards are still ridiculous to me, there's no justification for the pricing beyond Sony being greedy morons.

Yeah their memory pricing is dumb. I bit the bullet and got the 32GB card at launch and haven't looked back.

You can easily beat a Pokemon game in less than twenty hours if you just breeze through the gyms and elite four without any focus on the endgame.

Luigi's Mansion sounds a lot like Paper Mario for 3DS. A lot of wandering around with not a lot of payoff.
I didn't get that impression at all for Luigi's Mansion. In my experience, most of the levels have been pretty quickly paced and focused, especially since the game is broken up into 5 separate smaller mansions unlike the first Luigi's Mansion. The only thing that had me wandering around without much payoff was searching for the hidden Boos and gems, but partway into the second mansion I decided to give up on that stuff and just play through the missions normally.

Now Paper Mario was a lot like you said. That game was tedious and obtuse without much payoff. There's a reason that game didn't garner much praise like the other Paper Mario games. I'll give them credit for trying something slightly different, but unfortunately it didn't work out in that case.

It's pretty bad, but Sony has always been like this. Nintendo is no different with their insistence on using carts when everyone went to CDs and then DVDs. Still, Imma get dat 64GB card whenever it comes out, or maybe get a couple of used 32GBs...

I live in Texas they have a shipping center in Austin but they're sending me games from Kansas. Makes sense.
But where are they sourcing the game from? Anyway, it may be cheaper for them to distribute the games to certain states from Kansas versus another warehouse.

If you want to be a casual, yes.

The motto in pokemon is '''Gotta Catch em'all'' you're not even playing the game right

I don't know it just says primary shipping center kansas

I wasn't saying that's how I play the game, because I go balls deep on that shit. I was just making a passing observation that you could theoretically beat the game in under twenty hours and still enjoy it, though not to its peak.

You're going to break the game stop it.

Damn just beat the dark souls DLC I had no idea you could free sif as a baby pup awww ^___^ I'm going to have to do that on NG+ doe

I guess I just never got the craze over Pokemon. I don't like the characters, the art direction, or the gameplay. I feel the same way about Animal Crossing and Pikmin. I've thought about giving Monster Hunter a try but just never did.

Pokemon is awesome.  My son loves it.  We both got shiny palkia at GS this past weekend.  Power to the players.

apparently, there is some issue with installing gta v to your hd on xbox 360, thank god i have a copy for ps3 also preorded.

It's not like it isn't the norm. You could buy a 250gb HDD for like $60, but to get one for your 360, it was $150, I think. I remember when the 120gb drives were $120 and I used about 6 coupons stacked at GS to get it for about $70.

Until Sony allowed regular laptop drives in the PS3 and Nintendo allowed regular SD cards in the 3DS, additional storage was always sold at a ridiculous markup -- PS2/PSOne/N64 memory cards, the PS2 HDD, N64 expansion pak (sure, RAM, not HDD, but still...), etc.

Got a pick up order for my free copy of GTA from that Best Buy thing.

After reading the reviews, I'm kinda looking forward to it. The heists seem like fun and the huge map will totally make it worth playing.

And planes. fuck yeah, planes.
got my 3 copies coming in the mail arriving on this thursday from bestbuy, and going to pick up my special edition tomorrow.

I kept getting stuck ad having to look up stuff and it was missing random crap like shining the dark light on a random wall to reveal a door, or shake a plant to get a key etc.

Kind of feels like one if those point and clock adventure games. And I've hated all those types of games I've played other than the Walking Dead. And that I only liked for the story.

I think I'm like jman and just mostly bored with Nintendo games anymore and need to focus more on genres I like--I.e. reasonably paced narrative-driven games. If there's not at least a somewhat interesting story I just don't finish the game these days.
