Well, bros, if there's some crazy glitch on Dishonored or Infinite, grab me a copy~  Just got an e-mail, looks like they're doing that 4 for 3 promo again.

Did they ever stop? It's been on there the whole time as far as I can tell. The 4 for 3 that is.

Yeah, the first email I got with it was on 11/28 and then nothing mentioning it and then it showed up again today, but I've seen it on their front page this whole time.  I think the explanation is...GamersGate.

F1 2012 (steamworks) is $6.25 ... the lowest (repeat) it's been, amusingly GG borked it and dropped the MSRP to $8.50 and gave it a 26% discount.

...F1 2010 & 2011 are still the $10.20 (66% off) they've been all week.

Comes out to $5 for those with the 20% discount. If anyone wants a copy, I'm more than willing to help out in the morning.

Have you reviewed F1 2012 anywhere?
Not properly. I haven't played enough of it to write up one of my usual reviews.

Try the demo on steam... it's pretty representative of the handing. F1 2012 is firmly on the sim-side of racers. It's playable with a controller, but I really prefer playing it with a wheel. The handling model is pretty deep, such that I I'm still running with some/light assists. The default heavy assists make it approachable for a general audience.

My desk doesn't get along with wheels, so working with a controller is good. I have so many racers I've recently picked up, but F1 cars and tracks are tempting. I'll take a break from TDU2 and grab the F1 2012 demo.

Night at the Grindhouse -> Steam = 70% off @ $4.49

Contains the following:

-> Dungeonland + The Dungeon Maestro Grimoire Pack (that pack includes a collection of spells, traits & extra abilities)

-> The Showdown Effect + 1 extra "playable character" + 1 extra "special weapon"
The public demanded it, and Gamersgate listened. Night at the Grindhouse makes it's triumphant return as one of the daily deals.

Jet Set Radio (steam) is $1.25... I think that's the lowest it's been solo.
I'm still disappointed at how often JSR has been ported and pimped out, and yet Sega completely ignores the far superior Jet Set Radio Future. I remember having a blast with it on the original Xbox, but tried playing some of the original and it hasn't aged nearly as good. I don't have any nostalgia for it though having not played it when it originally released, so perhaps that's something as well.

Sega has been one of the leaders in aggressive pricing -- you can bank on them working their way into a Humble Bundle eventually.  Whether it has JSR or not, who knows.

I have JSR on Steam and Android.  I have to say it's a really good port, renders at 1920x1200, controller support.  It holds up very well due it's visual style and solid-colored textures (vs low-rez-blurry mess textures of the era).

Oh, I'd definitely agree it still looks fantastic, it's the controls/brutal difficulty I couldn't get a hang of. It just felt clunky after playing Future, which is a shame since I feel it's the sort of game I'd enjoy if I could only get into it.

Gamer's Gate really needs to mimic the steam daily deals and give you 48 hours...  Many times I would have gotten something only to find out it was yesterday's deal.

That or I need to do better at making sure I check this thread everyday... :)

They messed up the pricing on Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon briefly, too.  It's at the right price now ($5.98), but I have a copy sitting in my cart at $3.59.  Hmm... to buy or not to buy.

I hate you

If you're seriously debating you should buy it. That's more than 75% off, so barring a bundle, that's probably the best we're gonna see purtty much ever

$6 for Of Orcs & Men with the 20% comp discount is the lowest I've seen it.  It really needs an MSRP drop because that $7.49 represents 75% off (I'm guessing the 26% off was usual GG weirdness).

I have $6 left in blue coins and half of those are from rating every game in my library.  So technically, it really wouldn't cost me anything :whistle2:k

Why do I still suspect I'll be disappointed?

I ended up buying the Sniper V2 collection with my blue coins in fear of expiration and yes, I felt disappointed. Free has never left me feeling so hollow inside.

How did you not like Sniper Elite V2? You must have no soul.
It's not that I don't like it (haven't played), but it just wasn't on my radar. I'm a fairly structured impulse buyer and just wasn't planning on getting it. I was searching GG's sales for something to spend my blue coins on and settled on the castrating Hitler simulator.

And, I do have a soul. Several, in fact. I've been told that I suck them (souls and only souls) right out of people.

Contrary to what you've been told, the soul isn't in that part of the body.
