When are they available?
It's random and can happen during any day of the week. Usually starts around 1:00 AM EST to 1:30 AM EST.

Is it the same price in store?
Yes.

Will Amazon price match?
It depends on if enough people alert them to the deal and if Best Buy still have stock available for shipping.

How long are these deals available?
For up to 24 hours or until the item sells out.

Will Best Buy price match a DotD item I already purchased?
No. All Deal of the Day products are of Limited Quantities and are excluded from the Best Buy Price Match Guarantee.
(Official policy of Best Buy but depending on the customer service rep handling the price match you might still be able to get it done.)

Are the headphones worth it for the PS3? I've finally gotten into CoD: Ghosts, I suck, but dunno if it'd be worth getting headphones. Could go without the people dropping "n" bombs and kids crying. But if I join a clan, wasn't sure if communication really helps?

 
I received the P11 free from an Arkham City launch.

The quality is pretty good. It was comfortable, and I was only using it in stereo. You can upgrade the sound quality by buying different receivers if you want Dolby digital.

Would I buy this full price? No because I don't use them much since I don't play much MP. But for this price it is worth the splash since you are not sure if you want to get serious with this headphone business.
 
I decided to pick up a pair at the DoTD price.  The reviews look pretty good.  I dont do much multiplayer, but they will be great for playing at night and not waking up the wife.

 
I have had the X11s and I think I got P11s last time they were on sale. Me personally like the X12s I think more. the P11s seem bulky and too much plastic.

I think it will just show up in your cart once you add the product when the deal is active.

 
Per the thread title and the link provided. I only see the mouse and no mention about the $40 steam gift card. Could someone please show me what I am not seeing?

 
I'm wondering if this deal is worth it ... I can price match the mouse to 50 from Amazon.

I guess I save 20 dollars this way but the question comes down to if I really need 40 dollars for steam or not
 
I tried on desktop and it didnt work.... weird. Its technically supposed to be on the 25th right? I guess it is on the east coast already. It doesnt go live at different times for different regions right? Im in cali

 
That's an amazing deal on a death adder if you're the type that's going to drop $40 on Steam anyway. I would be all over that if I hadn't already spent my BBY credit on eShop cards earlier.

The following is very much YMMV.

Just got off the phone with Best Buy. It took 2 different reps, one to price match and one to add in the bonus steam wallet cards. YMWV if it comes to repeating this deal, but just be very polite and patient with everyone. The price match is tricky as the model number they have doesn't match with Amazons and the SKU's don't match, but if you are willing to wait they will override and give you the 20 dollar discount. If the cards aren't added in with the order, you might have to call back and just state upfront that you price matched and you'd like to get the daily deal along side it. My two reps were very sweet, very helpful, and it helps if you're polite and pleasant to work with, it is christmas after all.

 
had a 50 visa gift card and 15 reward. so 8 dollars with tax for a backup mouse and 40 dollar in steam cards = win win

 
Doesn't seem like such a great deal to pay 35 bones for a last gen system controller. Seems like these should be no more than 30 bucks retail now.
