Such strange combinations, Diablo and Victorious: Taking the Lead.

Love the GCU. Got so many games because that 20% has pushed them to the purchase point.

Looks like DIII is live.

For those of you that have played it, how is it? Also, would you suggest biting on this or waiting for the PS4 edition with the expansion?

$27.99 for Diablo 3 is a steal. I urge anyone who loves co-op dungeon crawlers/killing lots of disgusting creatures for hours to buy this game immediately.

anyone know if the saves from the ps3 version would transfer to the ps4 when it comes out? Not biting at this price but when it hits about 20 i will and ill probably get ps3 version if thats the case, xbox if not

I have been wondering this too and I don't think Blizzard has confirmed anything yet.

It's really good. Like imaginee them wrapping D3 around the framework of the Dark Alliance/Champions of Norrath games. It works so well.

That being said wait for the PS4 version if you have both systems and aren't dying to play it right away. Knowing Blizzard the expansion will be $40.

I love it, it's awesome and the PS4 edition is likely far into 2014, maybe summer or fall? They are releasing the PC expansion first and said PS4 comes later.

I agree, love it.

They did confirm at BlizzCon that your characters would import on a permanent one-way basis, meaning you can't go back to PS3 after.

The Diablo III: Ultimate Evil Edition for PS4 sounds awesome, but I recommend you guys get the PS3 now to enjoy it since PS4 is likely a few months off if not more. See my reply above about the save.

We sprung for the DIII, but I REALLY wish we'd see a ps3-ps4 upgrade confirm for $10 like other games. Even if its just for the digital download version, I could live with that.

I figure I'll sit on it, and see if we hear anything before the return period ends. (I think its Jan 15th or 30th for the holiday season) If we don't cave and open it by then, I can always return it if it sounds like no upgrade path is being offered.

Forgive the OT post.

Dipper, Wendy and I had a great time at Dragoncon this year!

We even ran a Dragoncon promotional special!

I highly doubt they are going to offer a $10 upgrade from PS3 to PS4 since the PS4 version will have a lot more content due to the expansion pack.

Anyway, I've already played quite a bit of D3 on PC but I really like the way the console versions play based on the demo so I'm a bit tempted by this. I'd definitely say grab it now if you haven't played it at all especially if you have GCU.

I don't expect them to have a $10 upgrade, since there is the expansion, but a $30 upgrade would be acceptable for existing ps3 owners. lets face it, once we move up to the ps4, we can't play the ps3 version anymore anyway, since the saves only upgrade.

Just grabbed this 2 weeks ago from GoHastings for $35.xx.  Game is absolutely incredible on the consoles--I enjoy it much more than the PC version, especially with the added ability to dodge roll.  Definitely going to get it on the PS4, so I plan to get a head start on the PS3 with the hopes that Blizzard will allow the characters to be transferred to the PS4 version.

Hmm I was going to get this when I first saw it posted here until I read more into the thread that a PS4 version will be coming out with the expansion.  I might as well wait a few months (still do not have a PS4 anyway)

Am I the only one who thought this deal was for Victorious Boxers? After I clicked the link, I was like, "What is this shit?"
This happened before, when the Victorious game for the 360 was DOTD earlier this year(?).

And for anyone that followed the posts about trainwreck teen stars during that DOTD, I fuck ing called Amanda Bynes being the next one.

They announced at Blizzcon that ps3 characters can be upgraded to ps4, but cannot then be played on the ps3 anymore. (Because of new loot and features in the ps4 version)

So weird that the email for the DOTD today only mentioned Victorious... I just think Diablo III might be the bigger seller. Ugh... don't want to spend money but Diablo III for $28 is tempting...

It actually feels pretty natural on the console. I thought it was going to be awkward not having a keyboard and mouse, but it actually controls very well. I dare say, even better than with the mouse
everything you said is true. the pc version is basically an open beta, for blizzard/activision to test the new auction house, which failed.
