Wife got an email from Toy R Us.  Giants regularly priced $15.99 will be $8 tomorrow only, 01/01/14.  Quite a deals.

I bought some Giants to use for Swap Force and they're kinda eh to use in game but they look cool on the shelf.

I usually am.

It's a shame because some of them are my favorite character designs but they just didn't do anything to make them feel worthwhile to use. At least they came back strong with Swap Force.

That would be as sweet as the $5 B1G1 reg Spyro figures deal.

When that was going on it was YMMV. I was told I could only get one deal in store, either price match the site (which is ridiculous because its Toys R Us) or B1G1.

Quick question, are the Giants like the small figures where you need 1 of each element to go everywhere, or can you just rampage everywhere? The starter pack brings life, and I don't want them all.

You really only need one giant. In Giants, any giant can do the feats of strength. In Swap Force, the only thing related to Giants at all are treasure chests that need a giant to pop the lock on.

I picked many of the Giants up with TRU's B1G1F deal the weekend of Black Friday. Nice deal if they had Swarm by me - that's the only one I still would like to get for my son. They only tend to have Ninjini, Bouncer, Eye Brawl, and Hot Head by me. No Crusher or Swarm.

The skylanders giants figures are B1G1 so basically $8 again, but this time its online only. Unfortunately the Rock monster is not avaliable for shipping. Sucks that for free shiping you have to order $49. Even Amazons upped price is more reasonable.
