The shooting mechanics in Binary Domain are solid, but there are way too many stupid "walk slow and listen to my teammates" sections.

Robocop was ok.  It was not as well-paced as the original.  It was missing all the fun things I liked about the first as well, the obvious satire, the dark humor, the ultra-violence, the swerves in the script.  The Sam Jackson parts seemed overly long and extraneous/distracting to the main story.

I told myself I wouldn't but I ended up going back to Hastings and picking up GTAV, Ninja Gaiden Sigma, and Sigma 2 for $37. I probably won't start playing any of them for a while, but the deals were too great. I would have started playing Dishonored tonight, but I've been watching X-Files instead.

I was able to try out on of the other Titans in Titanfall thanks to a burn card, one got for the ogre, that's really cool that they can show up in the beta.

Should have played Dishonored! GTA V ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww, the other 2 are awesome though to make up for it at least.

I am so shocked that you don't like GTA V.

Oh wait, I'm not.

Sorry to steal your shtick, Indigdawg.

You're weird, Mo. 80% of your posts make you seem like a general audience enthusiast of gaming and then the other 20% makes you seem like a casual hipster.

You should be, since apparantly I always like everything and play everything, so I can't not like stuff obviously!

And /shrug, I got GTA on day one and gave it a fair shot, just wasn't having any fun with it really, not much I can do about that :( Obviously a lot of people (and according to voice chat online, this consists of many a youngster and wannabe gangster!) do like it though, so that's good I guess?

Dem Olsen tits.

Picked up Bravely Default but haven't started it yet because I was up til about 1:30 finishing Link Between Worlds. Going to visit the wife's Aunt and Uncle today, plenty of time to play it and be antisocial then...

Did what? The clips? This is a Xbox One feature so I can do it for any game, not just Titanfall
Oh snap didn't know that.

I thought titanfall was a 3rd person shooter with mostly mech battles it looks like some generic FPS protect some object game. You should upload a clip of when I sign on boom like 1 mil views. I've been saving money so if MGS V releases a bundle xbox I'm getting it if not I'll wait for next year's black friday

So that means if you get one you can record all the gunnm games!

That's just one of the modes, it's always 1st person though. The beta has 3 modes, team deathmatch, domination (what the video is), and last titan standing (6v6 titans 1 life per round, first team to 4 rounds wins)

Had a rare "fuck work, chores etc. I'm gaming all day" day yesterday.

Finished up the Left Behind DLC.  I loved it, but I'd say most of you all should skip it until it's cheap as you guys were pretty lukewarm on the game.  So probably not worth $15 for 3-3.5 hours more of it.  I posted detailed impressions in the thread in the PS3 forum here if anyone cares.

Then I played a little Mario Kart 7, finishing up the 100cc races.  Kind of dreading the 150cc as they're always a bitch with the rubber band AI, blue shells etc.

But mostly played Super Mario 3D World.  Played through all of Worlds 4 and 5, and up through 6-4 in world six, still taking my time and getting all the stars, stamps and top of flag poles in each level before moving on.  It's just a brilliant game.  Great level design, challenging in places but not rage-inducing (yet anyway).

Been doing chores today and need to get some work in, so I don't know if I'll get any gaming in today.  Maybe a few levels of Mario or trying 150 cc in MK7, if I need a break.

should i just get another wiimote or should i spend five more dollars for FLINGSMASH included

oh wait, flingsmash is terrible? good

i saw the whole last of us left behind dlc gameplay walkthrough on youtube. i wouldn't even waste $1 on it. unless it becomes free to download on psn store.

Yeah, I figured most of you would have that kind of reaction to it. :D

It's definitely not for the "gameplay first" crowd and more aimed at the story/character/atmosphere/experience type like me for sure.

I'm a little past the part where
Amada comes out and controls your robot partner
.
Oh, did you get his trust all the way up? Cuz that's kind of important.

Only a little doe.

Also, Big Bo.

But I'm sure you did already cuz he's Big Booooooooooooooooo!

Big Bo should have had a rap during the credits like Cole Train did.

Racist.

Wow, what a way to say that game doesn't have good gameplay.

I actually enjoyed the gameplay. I dig stealth and I dig shooting things when stealth doesn't work so like whatever.

Shots Fired, I guess.

Oh I loved the gameplay in the Last of Us. There's just much less combat etc. in the DLC than in the main game. Half of it is entirely the interaction between the two characters other than one run away sequence. The other half is more like the main game, but encounters are still sparse until a big one at the end.

So with how many regulars in here didn't care for The Last of Us and thought it was more movie than game (though a lot of that was just whoknows usual trolling BS), the DLC is even worse in that regard.

well, atleast you enjoyed it. i just felt the dlc was less action/ gameplay, but more toward beyond two souls like from the video i saw. i probably won't get the game until it drops below $20, which will take a while.

It's kind of half and half.

The parts with Riley are just conversation, wandering around, a water gun fight etc. It's all character development.

The parts that take place during the main game timeline are pretty much just like the main game. Scrounging a round a mall for supplies, some infected and human encounters mixed in, and a big fight sequence at the end with a couple of ways with 8-10 or so humans and some infected.

Anyway, it's right up my alley. Aside from FPS and platformers I'm much more into story/charcter drive stuff these days. I loved Heavy Rain and really want to play Beyond Two Souls eventually.

^ speaking of  Gta v, i am surprised many of you ggt regulars from this thread did not get it, just so you can play the online portion of the game with each other. since you guys regularly skype, and play online multiplayer games like borderlands 2, and fighting games with one another. i think other than me,  mociwe,  and weelves, maybe even whoknows. no one here has gotten. or played the game yet.

I've never been able to get into GTA games.  I gave both GTA 3 and 4 a fair shot, I was like 22 hours into 4 when I quit.

Just not my cup of tea.  I don't do much online gaming any more though.  Just some co-op stuff once or twice a year, like BL2 last year.  And I pretty much just play with a couple real life friends and their friends.

i am the opposite of you, while i was playing beyond two souls. i felt like i was watching a movie, and everytime i was use my dualshock 3 controller for the gameplay . i felt like i am using a remote to fast forward different parts in a movie.

Well, I bought it yesterday. Also, most of the games we play together are either cheap or have been cheap.

A few folks got it early on, but most of us got it because of the fact it offered crossbuy and PSN was running a promotion where you could get money back after spending however much you needed to spend. We mainly just play fighters and we haven't even played those in what seems like forever. I think the last time we actually played video games was Sony Smash back early this month and before that it was probably about 3-4 months ago. The unfortunate side effect of everyone getting busy and getting new GGT members.

Yeah, I like movies more than games overall (though I've been gaming a lot more lately) so I'm really into games that feel like interactive movies.

I prefer ones with more compelling gameplay than what's in Heavy Rain/Beyond Two Souls of course. TLOU was great as I loved the setting, stories and characters, but also liked the sneaking around, scavening for parts, figuring out how to best get through the major encounters etc.

What I can't get into is things like fighting games, action games (Ninja Gaiden, DMC etc.). I just don't have the time or patience for skill-based games with learning curves. I enjoy gameplay, but I don't like a lot of challenge getting in the way of my ability to relax and veg out in my free time, and I'm much more likely to stick with a game if it has a great story to go with the gameplay. Platformers are about the only gameplay focused genre I still enjoy, and a lot of that is Nostalgia from growing up with the NES and SNES and playing the shit out of all the Mario and DKC games.

Ah I did not. I had max trust on.. Sindo? and Bo. I actually didn't realize there was a trust system at all until 3/4 of the way through the game when I got an achievement for it. I finished it earlier today.

I enjoyed it well enough. The gunplay gets significantly better after leveling up the assault rifle. I feel like Charlie and Rachel don't get any character development whatsoever. I like the ending too, even though I apparently didn't get the "best" ending.

I generally liked the game a whole lot. It was probably in my top ten of that year. I just really like how the Yakuza games look, so that helps.

If only Dead Souls had this gameplay, I would have been all over that.

Well speak of the devil.  Just saw that Beyond Two Souls is $24.99 at Amazon.  Had $10.xx in Amazon visa reward points too, so I went ahead and grabbed it.  Should be able to at least break even selling it after beating it.  Will probably fire it up after I finish Mario 3D World.
