There are quite a few free games (mostly Free to Play) and mods available via the Steam platform, a comprehensive list of which can be found in this thread on the SPUF.
(NOTE: free games are not permanently attached to your Steam account like actual purchases would be. You'll need to manually download a game again from the website if you uninstall it.)

The funny thing is I don't usually get involved with these sort of things and just let them get sorted out. Just got bored I guess, but the result was entertaining. The kid defending the dev is even more entertaining. Funny thing is I'm pretty sure he's bought Indie Gala bundles from me before which means 1. He's not really concerned about supporting the dev and 2. I'm not subhuman enough that he won't buy bundles from me when it benefits him.

I get involved in these things so much I'm starting to feel like a war weary battle veteran. :p

And people on the internet like to white knight a cause, any cause, as much as people like to troll. No matter what you post someone somewhere will feel compelled to tell you how wrong you are. The more passionate your post the more people want to 'prove' you wrong.

There must be some unwritten rule somewhere.

*Edited to add: And I used other channels, including getting other CAGs to secretly buy an extra copy for me, to get Gala HH bundles when we weren't on good terms. :lol:

Is it a CAG or have you expanded your empire beyond these borders?

Because they aren't developers to begin with and are stupid enough to think they'll actually be able to make a sustainable living shoveling that crap on Steam. I look at greenlight bundles as a bribe. They give me X number of steam keys for silly price and I change my no vote to a yes. I get dirt cheap + steam count that I'll never touch and they get their crappy game on Steam (with the false pretense they're about to become a millionaire).

I was wondering the same thing as I played quite a bit last night yet none of my achievements showed on my activity nor did my time played showed. Also when I tried looking it up on my library with enhanced steam it wouldnt show in my collection. Hopefully on the 28th this will correct itself. Plus I need to get them Playfire monies.

lol... not an issue at all. In fact there's some CAGs who've been selling them a little cheaper than me lately anyways and don't mind/feel anyone has an obligation to get them from me.

It's someone from Steam. I've only expanded to Carlmundo's Who's Gaming Now group because he asked so nicely. Everyone I've met through there has been real nice and never had an issue with a trade so it's been good times. I have had to start taking Steam Wallet or TF2 keys from some of them but I do it at a mark up and they are understanding that card money is not worth the same as real money.

I haven't had an issue. From my understanding if you do the sign in through steam thing they never get your info, but I guess making that assumption would be a good way to get your account info.

My fridge is still void of vodka, stray dogs, or corruption so I think I am fine.
