Is there anything I can do for lost/stolen USPS that was marked "Delivered" by tracking?

I had bought a game off a fellow CAG about two weeks ago and he shipped it with DC/Tracking. Now USPS has the package being delivered last Thursday at 3:00pm but I never received the package. I know sometimes the packages get pre-scanned before they deliver them but its been a whole week and still no package. Now the package either got lost somehow but its more likely it got stolen off my porch. Is there anything I can do to get my money back or anything?

Thanks

You may want to go to your local post office and explain the situation. You also might want to contact the person you traded with to see how they shipped the item/items (First class mail or parcel post, Box or padded mailer).

Also, you may want to talk to your next door neighbors just incase they got it by mistake.

80% of the time it is at the neighbors house. Your best resource is your mail carrier on this

Not receiving what you payed for always sucks. If the options above don't work, you can always file a complaint at the USPS. :\

Your post office will be able to determine which carrier has your route. Contact them.

If it isn't at a neighbors house then file a complaint with the postal inspector. I'm too lazy to find the link.

And I'm not accusing anyone of being dishonest but it is a common scam for the seller/sender to send something worthless to a different address in the buyer/recipients zip code so they get the delivered scan they need for seller protection.

Again not saying this happened but that is where the +4 comes into play and again your post office can determine this from the tracking information.

Always check a traders feedback and if you don't trust them request item and packaging photos.

First like they said talk to the mailman though.

This happens every other month or so for me. Well, for my neighbor. They have the same house number, but live a block over (9th St vs 8th St), and a few times a year I get packages/mail for them. If it's a letter, I leave it out in my mail box for the carrier to see and take to the right house; if it's a package I'll carry walk it over to their house. That's how I actually got to know that neighbor...
