The textures look bad, there's fog all over the place and the animations look janky. Having said that, it can't possible be worse than DA2. Will most likely day one purchase so I can properly bash it when I finish it.
After the last game and some of the deals EA has been running I've decided to wait until it's on sale for $10 on Newegg with a $10 rebate.

And that should be the tagline.

Dragon Age 3: It can't possibly be worse than Dragon Age 2

Disclaimer so Warreni doesn't get his panties in a bunch: I'm being facetious. I don't think Dragon Age 2 is the worst game in the world. There's always Realms of Arkania HD for that honor.

Don't forget an extra copy for Mooby and Spoder.
Unfortunately it doesn't stack.
Jake has Broken Age for $10. I wish Doublefine would stop giving me coupons for it.

Namco annoys me because their games don't have cards. You know how nuts people would go over Naruto cards?!?
Forget the Weeaboos. I want to fill my display cases with Pac-Man badges.

Anybody heard of this Wayward Manor game? Looks like it could be as frustrating as Maniac Mansion.
So I watch the trailer, which just shows a haunted house flyby. Alright, I get a sense of the art style. Let's look at stills for an idea of what gameplay will look... oh. The stills are all taken from the trailer. Well, THAT'S useful.

But Mooby's got a hat.

The odds are roughly 26:1, assuming that each type of card has an equal chance of dropping.

You have five drops to fill five slots. We calculate the total probability of "no duplicates" by looking at the probability of each individual card landing in a previously-unfilled slot, and then chaining the individual probabilities together.

The first drop is guaranteed not to be a duplicate, because definitions. So P(1)=100%=1.0.

The second drop can only be a duplicate if it matches the first, which has a 1 in 5 chance of happening. Therefore, the card has a 4 in 5 chance of NOT being a duplicate. P(2)=80%=0.8.

The third drop has a 3 in 5 chance of not being a duplicate. P(3)=60%=0.6.

The fourth drop has a 2 in 5 chance of not being a duplicate. P(4)=40%=0.4.

The fifth drop has a 1 in 5 chance of not being a duplicate. P(5)=20%=0.2.

Since our original question is "what are the odds of all these events happening together", we multiply each of the individual probabilities:

1.0 * 0.8 * 0.6 * 0.4 * 0.2 = 0.0384 = 3.84%

There is a 3.84% chance of getting 5 unique cards in 5 drops. Expressed as a ratio, (1 / 0.0384) = 26.04:1.
You forgot to count the possibility of one (or more) of the drops being foils.

Motoki, didn't you post about playing Dinner Date at some point? Worth a $1 on the NSFW bundle for it?
Here was my review:

Sit at a Table and Ponder Your Life: The Game

And here is what I said in the Steam thread shortly after finishing it:

Just fragged my way through Dinner Date. After all the hate it got here, I wasn't sure what to expect, but I enjoyed my time as Steve Bumbleprick's subconscious. Plus, he had Dinosaur Comics on his fridge. Cool dude! If any of you were wondering what poem he had on his fridge next to that comic (I know that you all were), here it is:

Genius in Beauty

Beauty like hers is genius. Not the call
Of Homer's or of Dante's heart sublime, --
Not Michael's hand furrowing the zones of time, --
Is more with compassed mysteries musical;
Nay, not in Spring's Summer's sweet footfall
More gathered gifts exuberant Life bequeaths
Than doth this sovereign face, whose love-spell breathes
Even from its shadowed contour on the wall.

As many men are poets in their youth,
But for one sweet-strung soul the wires prolong
Even through all change the indomitable song;
So in likewise the envenomed years, whose tooth
Rends shallower grace with ruin void of truth,
Upon this beauty's power shall wreak no wrong.

Dante Gabriel Rossetti

Dinner Date.

Well that was painful. I want those 10 minutes back. Watching the old lady walk really fucking slow and then croak on a bench was far more interesting.
Well, damn, now I really want to play it. Not gonna pay a buck for it, though. I'm sure Royale will come through again sooner or later.

got my first foil since november, woohoo, for that slutty fighting game guilty gear isuka. posted at 4.56, hopefully it'll sell. thanks enhanced steam!!!!

Vanguard Princess is the slutty one. Guilty Gear is just standard fare for any Japanese video game.

Randomly decided to play 10,000,000 tonight...it's actually pretty damn awesome...sucks for all you who didn't buy it when it was a buck

For those that can't get enough goat action, Escape Goat 2 has a release date: March 24.

No preorder page or price has been announced yet. If the prequel is any indication the price may be 4.99.

That said... I've been betatesting the game for a while (I helped with EG1, so I got in on the beta.) And the game has a lot of new surprises... the final stage just caught me completely off-guard. Ian Stocker said he was planning on revamping the final stages and he wasn't joking. They're completely different from the set that I played through a month ago.

There's a few new gameplay mechanics that you can see in Youtube videos from earlier betas and preview vids. I won't say more than that but they'll make for some fun custom levels eventually.

And I haven't even started on [redacted]
