Omg does Ghosts on the ps4 look almost nothing like the ps3 version. Must be blind as a bat...or isplaying on a 20 inch display from 8 feet. Texture quality is massively improved, draw distance, and 2.25x the resolution looks the same to you? Wow...

Cod Ghosts is shit on ps4 and x1. The framerate sucks and the graphics do look good on ps4 but not a whole lot.

I just started playing it yesterday. I'm about 3 hours in. So far it's pretty easy after I got past the first hour and a half or so and figured out how the hell to play. I'm expecting it to get more difficult, but from a gameplay perspective it's a very simple game.

Classes in DS pretty much just determine how easy your first hour or two are (equipment, etc). There are no character limitations once you start leveling. The few allocated stat point differences are negligible by even mid game.

It doesn't really get 'more' difficult. There are some difficult regions, some extremely atmospheric regions, and I suppose some bosses are 'harder' than others... but really, once you have a handle on the game it's not particularly difficult. From puts in 'cheesy outs' for all hard bosses (ie, a boss might have a safe zone where you can arrow them to death, etc). Once you learn an area you can just run through it (though it's nowhere near as fun as exploring the area for the first time).

IMO, the reason people think the game is so hard is that they die after the first hour, then lose their souls, before learning about unlocking shortcuts and how easy it is to replace said souls. Oh, and then other people meet a ridiculously hard enemy and keep dying instead of just trying a different direction. If you have the skill/patience to understand the combat system and learn basic survivability skills, it's all manageable.

 
Just looked on PlayStationTrophies.org and they say the D•Souls plat is 100+ hours. Is that accurate? The way y'all were talking made it sound easy once you figured the shit out. But 100 hours? That sounds Ludacristmas!!!

I was talking about Witch and Hundred Knight. This game is so back loaded with trophies, Im 45 hours in and only like 40% trophies and all of them are hidden He sent me a psn message saying how the dungeon was so hard like a month ago and I just last night finished it My biggest problem is that when I hit switches, it goes to like a cutscene to show you which random door you opened, and there is no other objective marker, and the multi tasker I am, It always coincides that I hit a switch, turn to change a baby diaper or text someone or something and then realize my mistake and have no idea where to go. This game, like all other games with tricky maps, needs a dead space idiot mode button to navigate me in the correct direction.

also profstotch is probly gonna say im an idiot, but i just last night learned how to correctly use the scout trotchka to search entire levels without killing my gcals like crazy. You just summon scout and he can look around for almost a minute as long as he doesn't touch an enemy, and this saves you so much life/energy/time in the form of gcal. I know this sounds like pure nonsense to anyone that hasn't played but this is such a game changer and I just last night learned to do it. It saves you soooo much resources.

also I am trying to get Gotham City Imposters legit, if anyone wants to play that before they shut it down hit me up. I just got kill crazy (10 killstreak) last night running with roller skates and a sword Now I really just need wins/xp which will come with time and 50 slaps/nemesis kills. I stumbled into a boost group with mrzizich and like 15 others last night, but im not usually the boosting type and it seems alot more fun to do legit. They were all having trouble assigning who did what, so I just quit after 1 'boosting' round. I'm already level 60 something and have 15 slaps and 33 nemesis, but the sooner the better before they shut it off. I postponed resistance 2 too long and now those trophies are unattainable  

100 hours seems alot but you do need to beat the game 2.5ish times to get all spells/miracles/etc from the different souls bosses drop. plus grinding for that pure bladestone or whatnot. I don't have the plat tho, so i have no idea. Someday I will try to get it legit or at least find someone to let me hold their max weapons.

oh also, i think i read it here, but is there any specific version of star wars pinball tables you need to get first or if you get any do you get ps3/ps4/vita zen/sw all 5 platforms/versions? thanks all and peace.

I messed up my first time playing demon's souls. I summoned way too many friendly blue phantoms when I should have been going it alone more and finding my own way. I remember the underground worm tunnels with the lava and I just summoned a friendly phantom and he totally knew the way out and 2 friendly phantoms is overkill on most of the bosses. I am gonna try to go through dark souls 2 minimally summoning allies for that reason. Everyone kept saying how hard it is, and I felt embarrassed that I had my hand held through out the game, but it was totally within the games rules, but still, wish I wouldn't have done it. First encounters in that game were the best, and best for them not to be spoiled with some other blue phantom hacking them to bits before you have the pleasure of death a few times first

I think the biggest improvement are the triggers. They have more of a concave feel. The controller also feels heftier, like it was designed for adult hands. The sticks are stiffer. Definitely makes for a better shooter experience. On a non-ergonomic note, there's a headphone jack.

I already mentioned how crisp the image quality is. But having played both versions I don't see much of a graphical leap. Maybe the differences are more noticeable in single player.

I enjoyed this flash sale. Grabbed Red Dead and Guacamelee (lets see if it lives up to the hype) and I'm still debating a couple more. 

Trying to decide between L.A Noire, The Raven, and Spec Ops. Could live without L.A. Noire, played it already, but the Raven game looks pretty interesting, and I've always meant to at least give Spec Ops a shot. 

 
Velo, chapter 11 was by far the worst part of that game. I was lost for so long and just kept going in circles. Also, I legit had no idea about the scout thing. I'd say 75% of my time playing that game was filling out the map to find pillars and just getting stuck at so many dead ends.
 
Thank you. That gives me hope. I was hitting switches on ch 11 and then wondering around for 20 mins only to notice it opened the door right next to where I was standing, that whole water puzzle switch bit, i know you know. So glad that is the hardest part. I was gonna lose it if it got more complex than that. I had to leave at 60% map completion, only to come back to it later and glad to have got out alive :)

Yeah I just discovered the scout trick last night cuz I was down to like 20 gcals and I was like, im not gonna make it, so I summoned the scout. I was so amazed when I realized he cleared the darkness without losing any gcal. Took me to ch11 to learn that trick, lol. So much of that ch11 dungeon is just dead ends. I would hit a dead end and be like ok where is the switch, where is the treasure, oh wait, nothing but wall. And those damn witches don't even give you anima and you can't even eat them to recover gcal, so i had to rely on those tall spinners to get any gcal energy. I still need to get the 'all pillars' trophy, but im gonna save that for last so I can grind out that 333 anima or whatever is needed to unlock lost nedia from the bucket list. I went balanced main facet and then ninja shinobi for more gcal/running and noble raptor for +50% ap damage and +30% criticals. I am hoping to plat tonite, but probly not cuz im still on ch12 doing all that misc chaos (i have a guide) and still need to do more. This story is intense too.
That whole 'post game apprentice/dad bit' wow, with topocici and luccini or wtf he is, i did not see that coming at all. Total fucktwit.  It was like red wedding all over,
 my son and I were both like whaaaaat just happened. also Metallia totally looks like Laharl towards the end with the dark choppy hair and purple/red colors. random observations

I don't have a PS4 yet, but I've really enjoyed the demo time I've had with the DS4 at BB/GS. It feels perfect in the hands. I really want one, but I'm a solo gamer so having a 2nd controller will just be a waste of money when I do end up getting the PS4. If they weren't $60 damn dollars I could justify it, but that's like... 1/5 the cost of a used PS4 (which comes with one anyway.)

 
Velo make sure to buy Zen Pinball 2 version on PS3. This will give you access to the other tables and let you import on the PS4 later.

I'm working on my Dark Souls 2 Platinum right now. So far as platinums go it's the easiest of the Souls games. If I can Platinum a Souls then anybody can since I'm no pro at these games. I recently picked up a $15 Chinese/English copy of Demon Souls so I can work on the double platinum. Hell maybe even the triple platinum if I get a PAL version.

Your welcome sir. The thing to remember about Zen Pinball 2 is if you purchase from the main game then the other can be imported from the PS3 purchase. So many trophies from 1 purchase.

I've been trying to resist buying these tables but the constant chatter about them has been trying. I'm not a fan of Star Wars and already have over half the tables already on my 360. I'd love to have them on PS3 as I've been consolidating most of my purchases there but I'm not really feeling purchasing tables I already own again. Bleh.

Funny thing is I skipped on the recent 360 sale for my missing tables because I didnt want to buy more tables there when I barely touch it anymore. I'll never be happy.

I also spent around $65 between the Flash and Golden sale already. A complete pinball sale would break me.

I'm 95% done with Star Wars and wasn't super impressed with the set of Star Wars tables we got on PS+ last year but the new set actually looks rather good. The X-Wing/Tie Fighter pilot table looks neat and all but the Vader and Ewok tables look excellent. Don't mind buying them on PS since they weren't out during the XBL sale (and probably won't be again soon) and I already have the other three Star Wars tables from PS+.

If it makes you feel better I spent $65 this week already and are about to spend another $9.99 on SoulCalibur V and the pinball tables.
