It probably will be because Sony/whoever the dev is is going to flip-flop from the shitstorm that this caused.

I honestly don't even think it's a intentional decision. It's just a back end system issue because to give the game away it has to have an expiration date. The upgrade is being considered as DLC and, even though you won't lose the DLC you paid for, you lose access to the free version of the main game.

I'll amend my prediction then. If they flip-flop, then obviously it's void. I only really care about how much it's going to sell if they keep the current system in place.

 
The only God of War game I haven't played is the second game, so my list of best to "worst" in the series:

God of War 3

God of War: Ghosts of Sparta

God of War Ascension

God of War: Chains of Olympus

God of War

The original suffers from just being a really raw mash-up of mechanics that either never appeared again (super meter) or was toned down a lot (fighting while climbing walls or across ropes) because it's not fun at all when they have so much of it in that game. I've enjoyed all of them, so it's not like the issues make them bad games for me.

 
I wonder if this isn't a first step to testing out a massive price hike for PS+.  Something along the lines of as the PS3 becomes less relevant they stop giving monthly games but the $50 price point lets you play MP on PS4 and keep your current PS+ games active.  Then there's a $100 tier that once a year will have a free retail PS4 game at launch.  Just spitballing but I could see that.  I think we're all still expecting some big changes to PS+ as the PS3 winds down and if something like this ends up selling well despite the backlash I could see them going down that road.

PS+ may change down the line but no way that happens.

God damn it, I went to get the Omega DLC for Mass Effect 3 since it's free, and it's already fixed. This is why Sony needs to be more consistent in posting when price glitches are going to occur and when they're going to be fixed. I only had a week to download it!

I'd love a God of War for the PS4 and the PS Vita, but even more than that I'd like them to make a Mini game out of God of War: Betrayal. I'd like to experience that story.

 
A Vita without a OLED screen seems kinda pointless but whateves.  God of War plays pretty good on vita, for free I'm happy with it. MLB 14 on ps4 looks really great and its 60 fps most of the time which is a game changer for me, havent tried online yet though.

It looks great to me, but as I've said earlier Im not a videophile and I'm accustomed to years of Nintendo handhelds. I've also never owned a first run Vita, but I've played with a friends. For me the lighter weight, improved battery life and no chance of burn in (no matter how unlikely, my handheld gaming goes for longer than average sessions) is worth it to me.

In case anyone else missed my post earlier as well, I can confirm that any mini USB charger will work on the new vita. Its rather convenient.

Honestly the fact that it uses a standard usb charger now is more desirable to me than the changed weight or the improved battery life.

I'm awful tempted for some of the small practical upgrades but would really want to see it in person first. That's good about the charger though since the 1000 will only charge from ones with a certain level of power output. Hopefully the switch to micro USB doesn't slow down the charging too much though since that was always surprisingly fast.

 
CAiNiAC have you noticed any banding in color gradients?  In every photo of the new Vita, and especially in ones with the OLED version too, you can see banding.  I'm curious if that's something you actually see or just a result of how the camera/screen interaction.

Well I have played a whole bunch of online in MLB 14 for ps3 and at first it was really bad but then they fixed some stuff in a update not too long ago and I was able to play alot of games with a pretty smooth connection. I played like over 60 games online so the online isnt that bad, but i do hope they fix it a lil for ps4

I'd love a God of War game that is entirely composed of the sex mini games, as long as it can be played one handed.

 
Hoping that leaked E3 thing is true just for Syphon Filter. Its looong overdue. I'd be interested in seeing an RPG from Guerilla games too. The Killzone well has been dry for awhile if you ask me, but they are a talented team I'd like to see try something new.
 
My guess is the whole DriveClub stuff is just a misunderstanding.    For $50, it'll be a permanent buy.    The 'dlc' for a 'ps+' game would hold water at $20, but at $50 it's pretty clearly a slightly discounted full purchase to anyone with their head on straight, even at sony headquarters.  

give it a couple days for the dust to settle before getting out the pitchforks.
