I guess I'm not getting any DLC from Tyler.

Well with Mario Kart 8 it might be true (low sales) because Nintendo actually downgraded their forecasts for Wii U(s) selling for the next quarter. I also read somewhere that with Nintendo consoles sales have declined starting with the NES on down the line with the Wii being the anomaly. The Wii U is picking up where the gamecube left off on the downward slide. So basing it on pure numbers as opposed to hearsay it will likely be the case.

Anyone wanna boost any of the 18 games I am boosting in preparation for the gamespy shutdown? ;)

So I had to go on my wife's ps3(let's be honest, my 2nd ps3) and get that first monster card trophy in ragnarok. If you only have one ps3 I advise not downloading any dlc or importing your original data til you get that trophy. I glitched it up pretty good and couldnt get it to ding even after deleting install data, update data, dlc data, game save data and system save data... crazy.

I think the difference is pretty big, and having all the original stuff included is an even bigger bonus for newcomers. Seems like the old stuff being involved is part of the new story as well. Pretty much everything affa mentioned. A whole lot of new missions, archfiends, offerings, and pacts. 5 "shops" to get new clothes, rumors(bonus mission perks), and stuff I haven't unlocked yet. Combos with offerings, like using a sword after using a feather allows you to do dashing slashes. You'll eventually be able to turn I'm lacrima and offerings to make your own pacts, too.

I used to ignore people I actually didn't like, but I'd always click View it anyway, so I just stopped ignoring people.

 
I'm not sure if Delta would go free on PS+ after the original already did. I can't see myself paying more than a few bucks for Delta, though, since I've got SS already.

Ugh, I can't decide if I should buy Lightning Returns for $25 or not. I enjoyed the first two games in the series even though the story got really silly. And I don't really care for timers in games plus I'd rather own it physically. But I have $25 in PSN credit. Hm.

It depends on the game. Most of mine didn't require a second playthrough or an absurd amount of extra time beyond what I would have already done because I enjoyed the game that much.

As long as you're a completionist, games like Sly Cooper, Spare Parts, Jak and Daxter, and others like that are easy games to platinum.

Not me, I'm waiting for the trial to show up on PSN to go with the standard SS I already downloaded so I can get it for free without it being on PS+.

Why is Unit 13 so hard to stop playing? It's a shame that Zipper Interactive was closed down, as I would have liked to see something else from them.

IMO that is a terrible pedigree but this game actually looks like it could be real cool.

To be fair I should say that Zeno Clash and Rock of Ages were both pretty unique ideas. I just didn't care for either of them at all.

They're kings of making the weirdest games you'll ever see. Rock of Ages was pretty straightforward for them since it was basically competitive strategy-meets-Super Monkey Ball with Terry Gilliam cutscenes, which I enjoyed a lot despite it being easy enough since every level could be beaten with the same strategy. Zeno Clash is just one of the weirdest things I've ever played and I enjoyed the hand-to-hand combat until it started relying more on guns and the weird stuff got to be too much for me. I'd rather see them continue making weird/crazy games than puzzle platformer #928.

I think I've said this before, but charging to rent each individual game will be the stupidest fucking idea for PS Now. They need to have an option for unlimited rentals, or at the very least x number per month.

But with the x number per month, thieves like Tyler and Vigisaurus will find ways to steal games.

In case anyone wants to ever try and source vgchartz in this thread, they had Xbone doing 239K in North America in April.  Microsoft just announced that they sold 115K Xbones in April in the US.  So unless Canada and Central America bough 124K Xbones (they didn't), then VG chartz was way way way off.  Like, over 100K off.  They make up numbers and their website is terrible.  Please never use it.

So playing a bad game means I have no integrity? Interesting. You can obviously see that I didn't play it to trophy whore it up as I didn't get the plat. Just beat it and quickly moved on to something better. If I were you, I'd plat it, then buy every copy from every other region and suffer through it so I can get some more sweet bronzes to my collection.

Wow, I must really love my son.  I had a stomach bug this morning that kept me from playing and this evening my boy wants to play Lego Marvel, which we platted months ago.  My trophy streak comes to an end today.  It wasn't a huge amount of trophies given the time frame, but it was fun to see how long I could keep it going.

Ugh. Spare parts. Something about that game just makes my blood boil. Like it's a totally irrational hatred of that game. To this day, I own it and still don't have it's ridiculously easy plat.

The April numbers have been compared to the January numbers, where PS4 outsold XB1 2:1. So people are estimating right around 200K for PS4.

Supposedly the Vita was under 5,000 for the month, but that kinda makes sense since they weren't being on shelves and honestly weren't stocked in most places. Next month's Vita numbers will be far more interesting.

Titanfall was the best selling game when you include all platforms, but Infamous was the "best-selling next gen game" according to Sony, meaning Infamous outsold the Xbone version of Titanfall.

No numbers for Nintendo yet.

I wish that when the servers went down for it a few years ago that the plat would have been unobtainable, just so people would stop buying that shit.

 
Also, here's a pretty good reason why MS had to drop the Kinect:

March (5 weeks) - 311,000 units sold -->62,200 units per week
April (4 weeks) - 115,000 units sold -->28,750 units per week
 
I don't think they expected a drop nearly that big just a month after Titanfall.

Ignoring everyone is fun. It's like opening a birthday present when you decide to reveal a post. You're inevitably disappointed by most of them (socks again, great, I'll re-gift them to sexuallyfrustrated, he seems to be a fan) but occasionally there's one that makes up for all of them.
