The old thread hadn't been updated in quite some time, so I decided to make a new one. If you happen to see a sale not listed in the OP, go ahead and post it and I will be sure it's added. The same goes for anything listed that has expired as most sales have no set time frame, let me know and I will remove expired sales. Thanks!

Heads up, I just grabbed Blood of the Werewolf for a buck and it gave me $5 promotional credit for the appstore, so if anyone's got an Android, pretty solid.

Gotta use it relatively fast though, July 31st 2014.

EDIT: Wrong thread, was referring to buying the game on Amazon. You folks get it.
Just posting this here for you folks. Blood of the Werewolf is here. Again, good catch idiot.

Also, buying the free app, AppLocker gave me $1 promo credit for MP3s. And lastly, Amazon changed my $3 app credit from buying Chopin into MP3 credit, so it looks like it giving app credit was a glitch.

Free App of the Day is Calculator Pro.

Well fuck, I bought another Blood of the Werewolf hoping it would give me another $5 Android credit, but I don't think it's gonna happen.

Yeah, usually promo credit is once per account. I learned that when buying 2 copies of Warlock 2 during the Amazon glitch (first one gave me $1 MP3 credit, second one didn't). Luckily I didn't buy both expecting the credit, and it was only $1 for MP3s..

Doctor Who: Legacy is in the current Humble Books Bundle

The game is F2P but the version in the bundle comes with 10 unlocked doctors. I don't know how much they would cost to unlock in the store version, which is currently having a sale. Of course you also get the first two series of Doctor Who comics.

Rats! Not compatible with my device. When I did a search on the app store through my tablet, it only showed Vice City as a playable game.
It isn't compatible with my device either and I still bought it with the App Store credit I have that expires next month. Eventually I'll have a device that it's compatible with.

Same thing I was thinking. What will I use these free coins on?  Only thing I can think of is SwiftKey and Sonic Jump if that's any good.

I'll take any suggestions though.

Can you use coins on games on sale? I mean, I paid with $7 of App Store credit I had, so it's not like I'm out any money.

Nice!

I've noticed many people have complained about it not being compatiable. Just from past experience, I've seen other apps that were supposedly not compatiable at first, but were later updated and were compatiable with more devices. I think Terreria and The Walking Dead Season 1 had that same issue. Even without that game, this is a nice deal. Especially with all the free credit/Amazon Coins have accumulated lately. Hell, spending $7 and getting $20 credit is a deal.

If you need more coins, you might be able to get some by buying select apps. Minecraft is still offer 50% Amazon Coins back (350 free). A few of the Kindle tablet edition Angry Birds games also have that same 50% Amazon Coins back offer. Also, you can just buy some and save 4% - 10%. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0096E8CQA/

I just noticed that The Walking Dead: Season Two is now available on Amazon for free. I think it's only episode 1. It sells for $4.99 on iTunes, so this could be a limited time freebie on Amazon. It's not on Google Play yet.

Looks like there might be some free photography apps for us tomorrow...maybe. Australia has some today.

Comicat is a pretty good comic book reader. It also offer 90 Amazon Coins back.

I like Zen Pinball HD. You can use that credit/coins to buy tables in that app.

I love Plants Vs Zombies and the Cut the Rope/Where's My Water games.

Monument Valley was released yesterday. I haven't played it yet but might pick it up with this new credit. It plays like Echochrome and people seemed to really love it when it was released on iOS a couple of months ago. The only issue is at $4 it's a little pricey for a 1.5-2 hour mobile game, though there are no IAPs.

I don't see why not. I've only bought a few apps from them and they were only 99 cents each. Actually I only used coins to buy them so I'm sitting on 261 coins.

That ComiCat looks great. Is there a similar app that works on non-comic books from Google Play, Nook, and Kindle?

Sonic 2's description says it has new levels. Might pick it up just for that.

If you were to download the Comixology app from Amazon, does that mean you can use the coins to buy books?

Thanks for all the posts with the coins today!

So I started with 551 coins in my account from various promos in the past.

"Bought" a free TV show, and got $1 in mp3 credit.

Used the mp3 credit on a Chopin album that netted me a $3 app credit.

Used the app credit on Sonic 2, which netted me an extra 240 coins.

Used those coins combined with my previous coins to purchase GTA:SA, and I now am the proud owner of 2000 Amazon coins.

I love you all.  :grouphug:

Got GTA:SA and unfortunately it doesn't work on my Note 3. Not a huge loss since I have a Kindle Fire but was hoping to put it on my phone, either way the $20 in coins will be spent well.

Eh... thought about grabbing it, but honestly, Amazon's selection for Android games is kinda weak. I've looked through most of it, and unless I want Minecraft, Angry Birds, or Sonic games that I already have on PC (and Genesis, for that matter), there's nothing of interest. I already grabbed Terraria with promo credit, and that's probably the only game on the appstore that I really wanted.

Now, if Amazon carried HyperDevBox Studio games... then I'd bite.

Are we really looking at the compatibility and NOT the free coins? Thank you for finding this and posting it. I dont care if I can or cant use the app as I now have $22 worth of Amazon magic coins!

Now to get Final Fantasy 4 since I missed the sale on google play. Not like Im gonna find something better to spend coins on, so dropping 1599 space coins on it for free is no real biggie.

I'm doing the same... I get gta sa and ff4 for 7 bucks

For those of you with amazon coins/credit there are two apps that are even buys (99 cents->100 coins) and one app that is a 31 coin "money maker"

Free after coinback:

31 coinmaker:

None of these apps seem killer, but hey they're free (actually a 33 cent profit. WOO!)

Interesting, those are some of the apps that CodeTrader mentioned were free in Australia today.

So here's the thing, do you buy them now & make 33 coins or get them for free tomorrow?

Nice catch, looks like they haven't taken the coin rewards off yet.

Two of those links are the same though... Is there a third free app that gives coins?

Camera zoom fx is another app giving coins and free right now. Trying to figure out what the other apps that are suppose to go free today.

I just made a new thread on this.

I saw it on my Kindle Fire HD when it went Live at 2 a.m. CDT.

There are 9 photography apps (of the day) that give you 100 Amazon Coins EACH!!!

:D

The GTA: San Andreas is still giving 2000 coins.

Cool. Figured out a way to get my Android App Store account linked without having an Android device. Hooray.

Is Sonic 2 and Sonic on Android worth using the rest of my probably soon expiring Promo Credit (not coins)?

Sonic 2 and the Sonic 4s have coins back.

Sonic 1 doesn't though

Yeah, but not for the full amount. Sonic 2 costs me 50 cents of free Amazon monies, CD costs me $1.50 of free Amazon monies. I was just asking if it was worth it, or have these apps gone on deeper sale/higher coin rates before? (I know CD was a FAotD).

Sonic 2 was a FAotD too I think.

I somehow had a 500 coin promo that applied to the GTA purchase, so I was only "charged" 199 coins.

Wonder what that was from.

There's very little chance of that being repeated, right?

Also, I don't think the person who posted about the Sonic deals posted this, but Sonic 4: Ep 2 gives 250 coins back (costs 499).

Edit: So apparently that $3 credit from buying Chopin is still available as App Credit for me. I don't know if it gave me both $3 MP3 credit and $3 App credit simultaneously or what, but it shows up at $3 in each category.

In that case, fuck it, I bought Sonic 2 and CD.
