Transistor is really nice so far. The combat is action but then you can plan your moves and do some backstabs real fast to your enemies. Im liking it alot so far. Great soundtrack and visuals.

 
Sparkle 1/2 are reasonably good clones of zuma, but:

Zuma is actually a clone itself of a game called Ballistic... it also went under a different name (....googling...) - Puzz Loop.

Luxor is another superb clone.

All are more or less clones, it's kind of hard to call it a 'genre' when the gameplay is pretty much identical, give or take. I think Luxor has done the best job with modernizing it with powersups/scoreattacks/etc.

The thing that sets it apart is that you collect a bunch of "functions" that can be set in a variety of ways to give you up to four unique actions to use in battle. I think you just sold me on this game. I wanted it anyway, but was going to wait for a sale since $20 is a bit steep. But it's a sRPG? I had no idea.

 
Tranisistor isnt a sRPG, its fast paced and lots of action. You can pause the action and plan what attacks your gonna do and then you watch the character pull off the combos real fast and then you gotta wait till it recharges so you just run around and hack and slash or shoot guys.

Teleporter and learn to use it. At least I think that would help. Cape/jet pack + Teleporter. Teleport through the floors, land softly. Not that I've done it yet - haven't tried much.
 
WTF! I was trying to get Unit 13 before it expired (I'm sure I already did this, but it was showing that I didn't and not in my download list), and it kept giving me a message telling me that I wasn't eligible to purchase or download it. PSN is such a mess.
 
I got to level 50 of Velocity Ultra at lunch but had to stop before playing it. Trying to decide if I should attempt the platinum or not.

I'm gonna try that if I can't get it through normal play as I don't really want to deal with angry shopkeepers, but yeah, I saw a guy beat the game in 2:30 using the teleporter.

Also, Nier is fuckin awesome.

I've had similar errors like that (PSN checkout failing when trying to complete a purchase) that have lasted days. Never figured out what caused it or what fixed it.

At the time, I wasn't clever enough to check to see if free purchases would check out properly, so I can't say if it was a more widespread issue or just PSN refusing to accept my credit card info.

The super slim has a low volume, but none-the-less high pitched squeal after it is running for a while. It's pretty annoying. However when I put it in our TV stand that completely absorbed the sound. I only hear it when he PS3 is sitting on top of the TV stand. So, yeah, don't do that.

where the hell is the new treasures of montezuma game???? I've only got like 30 hours before I finish the last trophy on the first one and then I will literally have nothing to do with my life.

My 60gb phat is broken, and I haven't been able to fix it yet, so I have to deal with the psn website which is a mess.

I'm not even mad because I probably wouldn't have even played the game anyway. I was just relating an experience.

I hope Atlus plans on putting Digital Devil Saga 2 on PSN some time soon, or some people are gonna get a bit upset after the ending of the first game.

To be fair, your original post didnt say you had been trying for over a day. The original post sounded like you just tried it the first time today.

 
Just got an invite to PS Now..... on PS3.  Won't complain but I figured this was a little late since the PS4 one started yesterday and I have both.  Excited to try both out!

My first post also says that I had already purchased it but it stopped showing that I did. Again, the website messes up these things for some reason, especially when you try to checkout two things at the same time.

I was wondering if this had happened to anyone else. I didn't expect to get jumped on by a bunch fanboys.

I'm definitely picking up the Muramasa DLC. Is GoT (or going for its plat) worth $5?

Oh, and Unit 13 owns face (except for the occasional endless shotgunners that only stop regen-ing after you cross an invisible threshold, CoD: WaW-style :bomb:). Deadline missions are my JAM. :twoguns:

I really enjoyed Neir, although totally different game than I expected. It was like drakengard 2.5.  Altho I hate that the intro load screen started with an F-cluster bomb and everytime my kids would be there. Fantastic plot and characters and great 2nd playthrough.

also I have already had to restart checkpoints twice in wolfenstein cuz I couldn't advance. It is a single player game, this should have been play tested til it was perfect. and like CheapyD tweeted, why should I push a button to pick up ammo, I will always want more ammo. Also cutscenes and gameplay mix a lil too jarring wonky, total opposite of may payne 3's seamless gameplay/fmvs. Also headshots seem very tough, but I guess I need to upgrade my perks... Also the health system seems a bit archaic...and 8 gig install and day 1 patch. I will be trading this in after I rush through it.

Didn't Uncharted force you to pick up ammo with a button-press? I didn't mind it all that much there, but I suppose it might be more troublesome/annoying in an FPS versus a TPS.

There actually aren't any infinite spawns, it just seems that way but they eventually stop.
