There is quite a list of evil pro sports team owners: Art Modell, Georgia Frontiere, Robert Irsay, etc.

But I think one man takes the prize: Clay Bennett, who, as head of the NBA relocation committee, can and has actively worked against Seattle getting another team.

Have you checked to see if it is in your purchase history? Sometimes things you have "bought" will still show the option to buy for some reason, but won't let you buy again. You might be able to download it from your history.

Living through that whole fiasco when he bought the team was hell. Howard Schultz is mostly to blame as he should have never sold the team to a man that wanted to own a team in OKC. Stern was longtime buds with Clay Clay. You think he was going to be impartial to keep Sonics in Seattle? Friggin blows. And then to boot, Clay is head of committee just like you said. We almost got Kings, but David and Clay bent over backwards to keep team there on a promise of an arena. Yeah, will never get built in Sac-Town.

I think last summer was the deadline for the Thunder to be able to keep the rights to the Sonics history (at worst, sharing them with a new Seattle team in the future), so maybe Clay Bennett will ease up now. And by ease up I mean let Seattle have a team when the city agrees to let the NBA fleece them again by building a taxpayer funded arena.

Which is what Seattle did but the numskull "leaders" settled out of court and got bamboozled. But what do you expect when elected politicians go up against seasoned businessmen and their lawyers, and money.

Another issue is that Seattle not having a team is a great problem for the NBA to have. Anytime a team wants a new arena they threaten to move the team to Seattle. That stokes the fires to get the arena built.

That's why I think the only way Seattle gets a team is if the build a city funded arena. Could be worse, though. They could have ended up with the Kings or the Bucks.

What do you mean city funded? Like Green bay owning the Packers? Or building the arena? There is already a plan in place for the arena. The team has to be coming first. Steve Balhmer and Chris Hansen will own the team and will build the arena with a "small" contribution from taxpayers. Land is bought next to Safeco and Century Link fields. As soon as a team moves here or an expansion team is announced for Seattle, the shovels start digging.

So, my thoughts on Wolfenstein so far is that its really good and the story is surprisingly well done. Its like Inglourious Basterds meets Iron Maiden set in the 60s. Im actually playing a shooter for the story ;o   This Wolfy dominates 2009 Wolfy easily.

Transistor is acutally a nice suprise cause i didnt think i would like the gameplay but its great.

The UGC stuff in inFamous 2 is actually kinda cool.  I don't think I'll spend a whole lot of time with it but it's kind of a unique idea and kinda fun to play random people's creations.

 
It figures that the one (and likely only) time I'm set to get a Diamond trophy fair-and-square for the Weekly Challenge in Rayman Legends, Ubisoft screws up and somehow lets the same challenge continue for another week without giving me the dang thing. I want my 50 points towards Awesomeness Level 11, DARN IT! :headache:

I'd heard lately that a new partner has approached that group to potentially buy in with a NHL team on the line. I'd love for that to happen, but who knows whether anything will come of it. Probably a land developer looking for good space for hotels or whatever.

And Clay can DIAF. Schultz is kindling and Stern is the fire log underneath. Those three all basically set this up to begin with.

You don't want to risk buying that from eBay. If you run into a problem it won't be worth the headaches vs the savings.

I just turned on my PS4 today (1st time in a month) to play Wolfenstein and I'm digging it. I'm not the biggest FPS fan but damn this game is good so far.

I would be waiting like you for a PS4 but my credit card had enough points to get a $300 Amazon GC. I used my remaining credit and only paid $43 out of pocket.

Just got in on the PS Now beta for PS3.  Not sure if I'll even really participate after looking up the game selection, since nothing out of the 20 games on there really caught my attention for wanting to play it and not already owning it.

I assume trophies are eligible to be earned in all PS Now games that you can play during the beta?

 
i wouldn't assume that, but if so, where is the list? I was invited to the beta a few weeks ago, but it didn't really interest me. but free trophies...

ok you are right, it says you can earn trophies, but I already had all the games, but still cool.

and holy cow time flies, that email for inviting me to psNow was march27th, almost 2 months ago. wow, it is true the older you get the faster the days go. my life is flying before my eyes ;)

You can definitely earn trophies. Have all of one trophy from DOA5 because of that.

I should really use it to play Guacamelee since I never bought it.

 
Yeah, I can confirm you earn trophies from PS Now. Unfortunately it doesn't work that well yet on PS3. Lots of screen tearing in 2d games. Guacamelee! and Disgaea D2 were unplayable IMO; worked fine otherwise, but the screen tearing gave me an almost immediate headache. I only tried one 3d game, though, and that worked better (Wipeout HD.)

 
The game selection is shit but at least try it so you can leave performance feedback. Switch between a hardwired and WiFi connection if you're able. There's a non-disclosure so I don't know what's allowed here, but I wonder how much of a bottleneck PS3's ancient hardware creates. Going back to it really highlights how sluggish even the most rudimentary of tasks are (trophy syncing, PS store, XMB). Really need to see it in action on vita and ps4.

Personally, I've never experienced any of the headaches that others have mentioned in PS Now. Too bad the game selection is pretty lacking in stuff I hadn't already played (and I've been in the beta long enough for them to switch the games out twice - still the same problem then and now).

As for trophies, I played a bit of Contrast last month, supposedly earning a couple early trophies, but they never showed up in my list. Maybe it was a glitch of some kind?

Hey! It looks like you got the same bug or whatever I got!

All: I couldnt get into my account settings on my PS3 last night. I will try on SEN today, but does anyone know why I wouldnt be able to get into my account settings and the playstation store from my PS3? I was connected to the internet and even synched my trophies, but thats it. When trying to get into the profile settings and playstation store I got an error that said to check my connection.

You have to sync the trophies via the ps now XMB by hitting your ps home button. Games list sucks right now... but I am going to work on Ben 10 just for the Platinum. I have had no issues with PS Now, no loag and no tearing or anything.
