I actually intended to get a PS4 when Infamous came out. My PS3 backlog is pretty small, but I had a PS2 backlog as well, and got distracted by several things along the way (Gamefly, Diablo). Finished off my PS2 games months ago, finally finished renting all the PS3 games I never bought this month, and so now only have about 5 or 6 more PS3 games to go (not including future releases).

I think it's too soon for a price drop. They might have a nice bundle offer or bigger hard drive or something though.

 
Don't really need a bigger harddrive. I updated my PS3 with a 1TB one and it was the right choice to make. Once PS4 came along, I just had to swap between them and wham, ready. It has helped that I've managed to dent the PS3 backlog, although I've had to delete based on priority/want to play/time to finish.

I'm curious about this E3. Last year, Sony came in humble, acknowledging that they needed to cater to the gamer first and foremost. They also sang the praises of the indies, which, if it hasn't exploded, has seen steady growth. Now, they come in a position of power, outselling the Wii U and Xbox One, maybe getting closer to a figure of both combined?

I don't write Microsoft off, due to them knowing they are way behind and are playing catch up with a console that is better than theirs and abandoning the third part of their master plan of controlling our lives, I mean "living room". 

1) Always Online.

2) Disc DRM.

3) Kinect 2.0

4) Underpowered console.

Just kidding, Microsoft is fuck.

The customization is where the game shines - I wish Soul Sacrifice had an upgrade mechanic like this. In Soul Sacrifice, to combo you had to stack elemental effects in the right order. In Transistor, you can upgrade any skill with a different skill to change the effect and there are skill combos on top of that. I've barely scratched the surface, but I am enjoying it so far. I'm struggling to compare it to anything else that I've played recently. Haven't tested out the remote play. My PS4's fan sounded louder than normal when playing for some reason. If you are looking for a cool strategy RPG that you will play RIGHT NOW, then buy. They didn't have a pre-order bonus so you didn't miss out on anything there.

Nuh uh, the Wii U and Xbone both sold more than the PS4 when you combine their total numbers. So that means Sony is doomed to fail.
 
I got the physical version of Crimson Gem Saga a long time ago because I liked the art, and never played it. Traded it in to Target for $15, then turned around and bought it off PSN to play on my Vita for $5. Still probably won't get around to playing it. :razz:

I think MIcrosoft is going to have a good E3. They may be bastards but they are smart and aren't as slow to change as Sony or Nintendo are. They are going to have a ton of games this year. Heck, they might have more new content than Sony.

I think Sony might make the mistake of thinking last year worked out so well for them that they can just do the same thing this year.

wolfenstein feels so bulletstormy with my kills needing to have objectives, but way less than bulletstorm. I just got the LKW weapon, and wow, that sure was a tough fight afterwards.

 
Soo, Drakengard 3 is about a girl who talks like a dude and curses and talks about sex all the time. Apparently, there's alot of weird sex talk in this game, I'll keep playin then.

Where have you seen people discuss headaches? I keep trying to get into the feedback forum but the link provided says I'm unauthorized. Thought it might have resolved itself by now. Oh well. Probably not going to mess with it again until it rolls out on vita or ps4. Played a little Ben 10 (terrible ass game). If remote play is any indication things can work dramatically different depending on the platform.

^ Wish I had seen this earlier. This is actually a *HUGE* point of contention among fans. Everytime the DVD box set goes on sale folks at slickdeals (R.I.P. IATCG) are divided on whether it's worth the investment given the format. The creator actually produced and edited The Wire in 4:3 intentionally, if you can believe it. Thought it made the show more "realistic". It was, however, shot in widescreen so an HD re-release is very possible. But, yeah, not Amazon's doing. Still my favorite of all time. Brilliant shit. And I don't actually recall too much crab eating, lol.

Have to say that's impressive. I haven't even beat Hell yet and in quite a lot more plays than that. Congrats!
 
I finally finished ascension last night. I thought they said difficulty was nerfed on the trial of Archimedes but it was still fairly tough for me. 6 GoW plats. I think that's enough.

started playing remember me. Its strange not sure I like the memory rewind shit but at least the combat is a poor mans arkham. That's a good thing.

hey guys, if anyone cares for some bizarre reason Madden 13 :vita: has started selling for more money than it should ($20 used / $30-$40 new).  so if you have a copy lying around that you got cheap you may want to do something with that.

That's because it's the last Madden that was available for Vita.

Yeah I sold mine for close to $40 I think a few months ago when the digital version was on sale for like $12. It's actually a pretty enjoyable game.

Wow. Gotta admit I'm a little bit shocked by this, I was expecting it to cost a lot more. Good on Mojang/Sony/MS/whoever made this possible. $5 upgrade to PS4 version is a killer deal. Free Vita version is icing on the cake. Sounds like the Vita version won't have new trophies.
