I just went through the first post here that lists all the free games and clicked on most of them and was able to add them all to my cart.

Except Remember Me. It comes up but when I click on select a version it pops up another window and never finishes to load.

I did this on a Chromebook so will try my Win 7 laptop later and see if I can't snag that as well. I have had trouble in the past but it usually resolves itself eventually.

I traded my XBox360 to GameStop yesterday. Going to wait till E3 and see if Sony has any decent PS3 bundle announcements and/or price drops and then pick up a new PS3. Too many games on PS+ I can't play without a PS3 so I decided to go through and make sure I grab whatever I haven't that I might remotely consider playing at some point.

I was curious if the store would work on my Chromebook and your post reminded me to queue up all the free games.

@jcondon, pretty sure they're talking about the Sony Rewards site. The site you're talking about, I have no idea if it will work on a Chromebook, but I'm lucky if I can get it to work on anything 95% of the time.

I remember liking Eternal Sonata until I got stuck on a boss. I didn't feel like going back and grinding at the time so I quit on it. I've considered grabbing another copy and giving it another go, though.

It's the damn Sony Rewards site, it never lets me complete the transaction and I got over 2,000 points. Urgh.

I was talking about technical hiccups - stuttering, screen tearing, slowdown etc. Not actual "headaches."

And while I've never gone onto the forums, my friend said they were full of complaints about the aforementioned problems. I assume they'll fix the major stuff, but heavy load on their servers could cause continued difficulty.

I've been lucky on that Sony Rewards site I guess, but I've heard tons of comments with the same problem you have. I always have my issues on the SEN site, it's a pain knowing I need to get on there to grab a free ps4 game for later on.

I followed that one and the CSI trophy glitched on me. Luckily I had a save I moved to a thumbdrive not long before that part where I could go back and get that trophy.

just watched some gameplay footage of it. it contained (I guess) a harvester slowly driving through a field, harvesting. after a few rows, a kindly old man pops up and says 'The combine harvester is full. Put a trailer next to the harvester to empty it.' There also appears to be a Lamborghini harvester.

Is this real?

For me, it depends on how long it would take. If getting the plat for that game takes more than 4-5 hours, I'm likely skipping it. It would be more for a laugh than anything else.

 
Figured out my problem with purchasing Remember me.   I already had done it.  For some reason it wouldn't tell me that on either computer in Chrome or IE.  But when I tried it from my phone it gave me the option to download it to my PS3 (and to link my PS3).

I did look earlier to see if I had purchased it but missed it my history.  Guess I didn't go back far enough.

Even before trophies, if a game had a 100% metric of some sort, I always tried to accomplish it. I guess it is a form of OCD but I get enjoyment out of completing the games even if the game itself was not terribly fun. With that said, I find some redeeming quality in almost anything I play with a very few exceptions. Luckily my cheapness has allowed me to not bother with the DLC for most games, but in general I try to always get the plat to consider it completed in my mind. Mirror's Edge is the one game that I have put aside and never intend on attempting to go back and cleaning up. I was not having any fun at all, I felt motion sick when trying to play it, and I knew there was still a very long grind ahead of me to finish it.

ETA: The main reason I have played most of the terrible games on my profile was because I was in competitions that counted the number of trophies acquired and those are the best games to use to do well. Otherwise, I likely never would have played them at all. Once I do, I feel the need to finish them.

I tried your suggestion. Guy walked up to me and I immediately said "It's because of Lost Odyssey!"

He just laughed and said "Of course! When you get a boner at work over Lost Odyssey it's okay, but when I get a boner at work over Spelunky everybody FLIPS OUT!" Then he threw his hands in the air and walked away. Later he died.

So after getting a pro tip for Green Lantern starting a 2nd player after not beating the Lvl. 4 boss I did it first try last night without needing to. Sometimes these things just take fresh eyes I guess. Now at the end of Level 6. I think I'll finish this up, dump it along with Majin and Brutal Legend and be under 20 physical games. :)

I played some more Velocity Ultra yesterday, i finished the 50 levels but thought of going for a platinum. I figured if Level 50 is the hardest I'll start there. So I got the Gold but no perfect yet. Just not sure I'm a platinum trophy kind of guy, I'm already starting to lose interest.

As I said in a previous post, I didn't find Level 50 to be the hardest--Perfect'd in 20-30 minutes--but Level 48 or 49 (whichever had a crazy number of enemies + bullets to dodge), which took nearly 30-40 minutes to Perfect.

I found it vaguely interesting - as you'll see everyone say, it's a god of war clone with minimal actual relation to the original Dante's Inferno text. some pretty cool set pieces though and some gruesome monsters. and I thought it was fun, and I'm an awfully harsh critic as you can tell based on my playtime in treasures of montezuma and nfl blitz.

tl;dr you can skip it if you want, but it's as interesting as any of the other god of war clones

I really have to like a game to play it enough to get a platinum. And if it is too much of grind I won't even bother. I loved AC4 but no way am I replaying all the missions to get 100% sync on them all. Nor am I too interested in playing the mulitplayer to level 55.

I also enjoyed Uncharted GA but lost interesting grinding through trophies for killing x enemies using a specific weapon. Some day I might go back and try to get this one but probably not. Too much else to play.

I really like Borderlands 2 and will probably play that on PS3 sooner or later with a friend. I can see maybe going for the platinum (he has it) but don't think I will commit the time to it.

All I heard was, another reason not to bother with the platinum. I just can't find the time as there is way too much to play these days. I'm usually satisfied with a story completion or normal playthrough. As much as I like Velocity Ultra I have other games waiting. Props to those that go for Platniums.

I'm not sure what else has to be said. I beat the game, backed out to the main menu, and went to the trophy section and I get errors like I did with Sound Shapes around launch. If it works the same way, I can only sync other games' trophies through the notification area where they list your latest trophy earned.

Edit: Okay. Looking at True Trophies, the three trophies I earned actually synced, but I get the error anyway. Something broke while trying to sync, though I may still be able to sync trophies manually.

Up to zone 45 with perfects after last night. Hopefully going to finish the missions this weekend and then just have the the mini games and collectible cleanup left for the platinum. :)
