Up to 80% off Deep Silver titles from GameFly. Pretty decent deals on the Dead Island Franchise Pack if you don't own any of it as well as the SRIV and M:LL Season Passes.
Anyone know the applicable vouchers and if they have limits?

Meh deal on base Metro: LL, as Complete's $20 on Steam, and has seen a low price of $8 already.
Coupon code MAY20OFF should still work for another 20% off. No minimum. (UKMAY20OFF for UK customers.)

Air Control is live. And if you purchased it in a bundle:

Hi guys ! It is time to give Steam keys to all the bundle buyers.
If you bought Air Control in any bundle, you need to do a several things before you get the key :

1)Send us friend invite
2)Discuss you purchase with us
3)Wait your key

We are preparing keys currently and this process may take 1-2 weeks.

Thank you for reading this article,

Reading that makes me even happier that I didn't buy it.

I guess they wanna meet each of us over coffee and make sure the Steam key'll find a good home? :p

"Why did you buy this bundle with our game in it?"

"Uhh... +1 Steam count?"

"REJECTED"

Edit: I'm receiving emails from CAG just fine (Hotmail).

Another jackass dev (Air Control):

MulderYuffie, sorry, but it seems like you are the 15 years old girl. Wait... spamming every discussion with bad words about game is not clever enough even for the 15 years old girl

Whatever, I already did it and I made a new friend. In just 2 weeks I'm gonna be a certified airplane person :whee:

Truth be told, I've had the "funky" music from that vid of Air Control someone posted stuck in my head on and off since I saw it. I kinda want the game now.

Seriously considering possibly maybe buying Legend Of Grimrock perhaps for the BTA price. It's not too much right now. Hmm.

Apparently the Company of Heroes 2 keys from the alienware giveaway lock you out from buying the full game. I don't know if there's a workaround, but if you plan on ever buying the full game it might be worth it to not activate the key. On the plus side, it gives you card drops.

Surely they'll fix that.

Management would have a fit if the cut-down freebie prevented full-product sales.

Also it might have to do with the fact that the key is listed in my steam account as being Company Of Heroes 2 Standalone Multiplayer.

The only possible standalone multiplayer for Company Of Heroes 2 is this game http://store.steampowered.com/app/260309/ which doesn't come out until late next month. So that may be what we're getting here. It's also a bit weird that in the DLC list it shows Company of Heroes 2 demo as being an owned DLC for the game.

Don't know if mentioned but TotalBiscuit announced today that he's got cancer diagnosed, sad news.
From what I've read, he had symptoms as early as a year ago including bleeding from a certain orifice a significant amount of time ago.

It's sad, but once blood's involved, I don't understand why he didn't go to a doctor immediately. At least people will learn from this.

So what is it, colorectal? That's a little ironic...

Doctors probably misdiagnosed it as a hemorrhoid. That can cause bleeding and it's pretty rare to get colon cancer at that young of an age. Not sure if they wanted him to have a colonoscopy or not at the time though and if he did or if he refused.

It's bowel cancer.
Yep, was right then. Colorectal is misdiagnosed very often in today's society, as so many less important things can result in blood in the stool. It's seriously too bad, but in a grander context many people are diagnosed terminal every day. Death is an inevitability of life. Hopefully they can all fend it off.

My mom died from complications caused by successful cancer treatment.

Just thought I'd lighten the mood.

The QUBE dev is now offering free Steam keys for the Director's Cut for anyone that owns the original game.

Just goes to show that a heavy dose of bitching can solve just about any problem.

I'm glad I'm not the only one and that I checked before hitting send! I don't know how I missed it either.
Yeah... I hit send before checking, and I'm in the same boat. I swear to god I got it on Humble, but apparently not.

Hi all. I'm getting ready for the 3-Day Weekend (Memorial Day - thanks for all you do and have done, veterans).

I'm looking for game suggestions, as the Steam "Recommendations" choices are...something of a mixed bag.

Any recommendations for a RPG similar to Bioware (narrative & choice driven) or Bethesda games (open-world)?

Narrative & Choice Driven:

* Knights of the Old Republic

* Knights of the Old Republic 2: The Sith Lords (obsidian)

* Jade Empire

* Mass Effect

* Dragon Age

* Witcher: Extended Edition Director's Cut (CD Projekt RED)

* Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings Extended Edition (CD Projekt RED)

* Deus Ex: Human Revolution - Director's Cut (Eidos Montreal)

Open World:

* Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind

* Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivian

* Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

* Fallout 3

* Fallout: New Vegas (obsidian)

Thanks!
KotOR, definitely. Here's a review I wrote on it a while back: http://steamcommunity.com/id/idiotekque/recommended/32370/
