Beat Binary Domain, which I enjoyed a lot with the fun combat,minus those dumb shinobi robots, and ridiculous story. Anybody that hasn't played that yet, and doesn't have access to the PC version to get rid of the slowdown, should play their PS+ copy ASAP.

 
I like Binary Domain, and I wouldn't mind seeing a sequel to the game.  They can do away with a little less bullet sponge robot enemies, but the action and gameplay mechanics are pretty fun.

That's funny, I just got done playing this too.

The game was much better than you might initially think it to be, although I still wouldn't call it great. I didn't have any problems with specific enemies, but some of the sequences that didn't involve shooting from behind cover were pretty terrible. The jet skis for example.

The story was told in a more or less enjoyable way, but the climax was incredibly dumb. I actually found it to be kind of frustrating. The storytelling itself is fine, it's only the science of what they were trying to explain that bugged me.
Robots are not a species, there are no robot genes, there are no half-human half-robots (barring cyborgs). Any child born from a robot is basically a test tube baby with a highly advanced test tube. I don't know where Amada was getting the missing chromosomes, but it would still be human. The robot mother would just be a surrogate. Everyone freaking out about it at the end was dumb.

The Sharing is Caring trophy for AC4 is fucking stupid. Just sail around for hours and hours hoping to get these damn random social events.

I got the chest super early, and then nothing the rest of the game.

That being said, after hours of mindless sailing and listening to pirate tunes, I got a White Whale. And then I sailed a little bit north and got a Royal Convoy. Woooo, the plat should be easy from here. My ships almost upgraded, and I just have to tackle the legendary ships.

And a side not for anyone else playing, be sure to download the AC4 companion app if you have an iPad. You can play the Kenway's fleet minigame, which nets you money in the actual game. You can play the minigame from within the actual game too, but with the companion app, you can do it if you're away. I'd wake up in the morning, set some ships on a few missions, and just check periodically throughout the day. Super easy way to make some cash.

 
I couldn't get past the first level of binary domain. It just didn't click for me. I can always go back to it if I ever need something to play. Which means I will never get back to it.

I think I'm going to play GTA5 next. Either that or Disgaea D2. I have to start finishing some of these digital games, and I want to get as many done before September when Destiny comes out.

I keep getting replay value out of wolfenstein. (after what, almost a week, lol) The post about J, I had no idea who J was,
because in Fergus' timeline you just get this crazy chic. I finally got to trip out last night with J, too cool. Crazy chics room full of paper notes on the walls replaced by J's room of mattresses and amps ;) my girl said the mattress on the wall looked cleaner than the one he slept on, haha. and this 2nd playthrough is also sweet cuz not only do you get to keep all your perks, but you also keep all your weapon upgrades. Laser Marksman and Super upgraded LKW from the beginning make mechs a breeze, not to mention assault rockets. Woot. also instead of sleeping for health upgrades, you use the construction bench for armor upgrades.  Fergus' accent beats Wyatt's gosh darn's too.
i didn't think anything was spoilery, but i spoiler blocked it all. prob too late tho, cuz iv been quoted. lol

also i quit playing uncharted 3 when you had to do the lil kid level, i was just like no way. ill go back someday.

We need a new thing instead of LOL to convey actual laughter on the internet.

I actually laughed out loud for two seconds (ha ha ha ha) on the Wash Dogs pic.

But if I type LOL, it seems to diminish the actual experience I had.

People type LOL for everything even if it's just a smirk or that thing where you exhale slightly louder than normal when looking at something on the internet.  

Even if I write, "I literally laughed out loud", that's seems disingenuous. 

Oh, the things I think when there's no flash sale to occupy my mind.

I played the demo and some how couldn't figure out how to get all the way to the roof. They kept telling me get to the roof but I was stuck by some billboard or something. Seemed like an average shooter so I just deleted the demo and moved on. Like you I might give it another try sometime but probably not.

There is also an Android app which worked fine on my phone (other then occasional connection issues). I would play that at work so I would have the Reals later.

Did you find the white whale after hours of sailing in the same session, or do you mean hours of time total over several sessions? The way it worked when I got it was that only one server had social events on it, and you had to server hop until you found it. But once you found that server, you could find them all - which is what sounds like is happening with you finding the royal convoy so quickly after the white whale.

But if you found a white whale after hours and hours in the same game, then they might have fixed something.

I got the chest almost at the beginning of the game, pretty much right after you get the ship. Then I didn't get anything for the rest of the game. I wasn't aware that I should've stayed on the same server at that point, I just figured they would all come naturally. Today I was searching for the others, just using the spawn point map on PST.org, and I got a White Whale, and within a few minutes I got a Royal Convoy.

I did the whole map once, got nothing, and then did the server hopping thing, and halfway through my second trek around the map I found the two events.

 
Also if friends of yours spot one and share it can help you find them.  I played this at launch and I am pretty sure they patched this to be harder to achieve.  

 
Remember me is pretty damn cool. I thought jay was crazy when he talked it up because I wanted to quit around the second level. But the story is interesting and they have some cool action sequences. Of course a lot of things are cool when your back hurts and you have hydrocodone to make it feel better.

When I had my broken leg and I was taking percocet every day, I remember loving almost every game I played, book I read, and movie I watched. Now I have no drugs, and I hate everything.

I don't know who this Jay guy is but I am looking forward to playing this game hopefully next month when I pick up a PS3 again.

I had friends online playing at the same time as me who would share, and I never saw them. It was only when I found the right server that I found anything.

 
The only problem is the hanky camera. Especially during fights. But the combos and strategy involved is pretty cool. Everyone should play on hard. Anything less would probably be to easy.

I played on normal and found some of the later fights to be pretty aggravating. But then again I'm a wuss, so take everything I say accordingly.

I miss the wackiness that was jay. Everything is too meta now.
