They didn't mind letting others post earlier than 15 days  Where did I say I complained? Please read it again, and then correct your wrong post before Pepsiman gets upset. You do realize they have an incentive to let me use the points right? Buying MORE stuff from them. Yeah that's horribly bad of me to ask to use an incentive to make another purchase from them.
BB said due to system limitations they weren`t able to provide a way for mybb certs to post instantly(or as instantly as we`d like) sucks b/c they`d get alot more sales.

Im pretty sure they dont post quickly so people can buy a bunch of stuff, get points, use them, and then return everything.

You can make endless accounts if you really want to so you could just basically get free money.

What they need to do is just take the reward points earned and not refund that amount if someone just did that. Since the points already post instantly they could just make the systems calculate how much you would get in reward and not refund that.

This would benefit people who shop alot but people coming in trying to refund for the full amount would be pissed that they get reward points.

Of course reward points could be optional.

Is there a post on there somewhere about them deducting points and total earned towards silver if you return something that you bought fully with a Giftcard? That's something that has been a problem for as long as I can remember I can't believe it hasn't been fixed yet

I have heard people mention that before if you can locate it in you purchase history post in the "support" section to get the pts back & make them away.

For all the glitches/problems with their system that cost them so much time/money I`m surprised they haven`t fully upgraded yet. It`s double edged sword for CAG though as the b1g2, 2x bonuses, 20% GCU, 10% off used & other customer friendly glitches would become extremely rare but stuff would work as advertised much more often.

The glitches with the 20% & deals have been very nice though.

For all concerned give it sometime. On the may 23 I got a $5 gift certificate. Today I got a $10 for pre ordering wolfenstein. I also have 500 points pending as a bonus for ordering wolfenstein. That's $25 as stated by best buy.

should i be worry? i don't even see the transaction for my wolfestein order under mybestbuy account.
For you I'd say give it til tomorrow or Wednesday then call and ask about it. Make sure you have your receipt for it handy.

Do you have to pay a game off in full during the pre-order to get the gift certs or is it as long as you buy the game and put at least $5 down?

So Sunday I didn't have any points and the. Sunday night I had my 500 posted. Now I have my second set of 500 pending and they will likely post sometime tonight. I've already paid for my copy of Watch_Dogs. Should I preorder MarioKart with all my Certs? Or hold off? After Watch_Dogs I will have $55 in Certs, I could get Mario Kart and Zelda both completely for free!

This is my first preorder cert from BB, but I wish I would have got in on this sooner, it's great!

both my 500 pts are pending now.  Don't have the need to use them for Watch Dogs as I've got tons of points to cover Watch Dogs.  Not need to call anymore as I already go the $5 eGC last week Friday.

All reviews I've seen point to yes, but I haven't actually played my PS4 copy yet. Seems it mostly scored a 7s-9s/10. And the later reviews I've been seeing have been a lot of 9s.
Nice, will probably open my copy tonight. Do we have to keep the disc for the Doom beta? Anyone know :)

Anyone have any feedback on the Xbox One version? Any good, worth picking up?
I bought it on release day. Played it a day later. By Saturday, I had 1000/1000 achievements. No Multiplayer or DLC plans, so I traded it in. I know a lot of people hate multiplayer, but now I realize the value of it. Yeah these single player campaign games scratch an itch a lot of us feel, but once you scratch that shit....whats left? I would have loved to jump online and blow other humans heads and limbs off into meaty chunks with dual-wielding shotguns. But oh well. Once you get all the acheivements and beat the game, thats it. Nothing.

to answer your question, YES its worth playing, for sure. Violent, funny, scary (not in a conventional horror way, just the entire what-if scenario the game takes place in), and its even a little moving at times. The facial animations are really amazing in this game, adds more life to the characters. But the weaponry is the real star of the show here. I blew some Nazi's leg off and chunks off flesh flew everywhere. He hopped up and down on his one good leg while screaming in abject agony, and then I proceeded to remove his head from his body. Fun stuff.

This game made me miss the original Soldier of Fortune games where you could gib and dismember like no other.

That actually doesn't necessarily answer the question.
No one knows if you'll need the disc. Just cause there's a voucher, you still may need the disc to boot the beta up.
I hope we don't need the disc. Trading in my game today. I'm looking forward to playing the beta but if we need the disc, I'll just drop the code in the Xbox code drop thread.

I was really hoping to use my Wolfenstein certs towards Watch dogs, luckily I had 2000 points post back to my account yesterday for returning an ipad case and buying the more expensive variant. As of right now, I still don't have either of the 500 bonus points pending for my Wolfenstein pre-order. Not worried about it, I'll continue to sit tight and wait for it to post.

got my $20 RZ certificate from Wolfenstein preorder today

just to clarify, this is the 1000 points everyone's talking about right? it's not $20 RZ certificate AND 1000 points (too good to be true I know, but sanity checks are nice)

The 1,000 pts. posted on my account as well. They will be available on the 4th. The points hadn't posted until today, so everyone freaking out, calm down as ppl. have already said. ;).

My cert is still pending. Hope it is available in time for Mario Kart 8 since there really isn't much coming out for a while after that. The 1000 points turned into your $20 cert but you should also have received an e-mail from Best Buy with a $5 bonus credit since the figurine they advertised wasn't available.

Then I think you played a hell of a lot of the game and got your money's worth out of it in one week.

I played for about 15 hours, had a blast, and had 70% of the achievements when I traded it in yesterday. I'd personally take a tightly crafted single player campaign with a solid story for 15 hours over hundreds of hours of zoned out multiplayer FPS gaming any day. It's a great experience and well worth the full asking price at release IMO. There are comparatively few experiences like this today. There are many multiplayer shooter Skinner boxes out there.

Each to their own, but I think gamers should think about what "value" means to them. It isn't just time spent on a game. I don't go to the theater and think, "Geez... I really liked this move, but it was only 90 minutes long! If it could have been another hour longer like one of the Lord of the Rings movies, I would have felt better about spending the money."

I got 1189 points for this game or $23.76 in rewards + $5 gift code for the missing figure. Not bad for a $48 new release.

well with movies we know typically what to expect. 90-150 minutes of runtime is the norm. With a game, ESPECIALLY FPS, there's no reason to limit yourself to just a single player campaign in 2014. You can have a great story and throw in some competitive, fun multiplayer on the side. I agree not every game needs an MP aspect (see: Arkham Origins and Bioshock 2....those were tacked on and fucking terrible). But for games like Wolfenstein? Where shooting everything that moves is the object of the game? Sure. Why not? The only reason MP was left off was because of the whole "I hate online gaming" demographic. I used to be like that. Then Titanfall came out and I have been hooked on MP since then. It's fun.

I mean even if it wasn't competitive MP, why not a co-operative mode where you can play with friends online and go hunting Nazis together? Like a Horde Mode type of mode. Mass Effect 3 did it perfectly. I'm sure Bethesda could have done the same.

It is what it is though. Great game, I had fun, but there's not much replay value.

You mentioned Titanfall. I agree that it's a lot of fun, but I'm happy having those two experiences live in separate worlds. Let that set of devs focus on MP and make it a solid experience. Let another development studio focus on a single player experience and deliver a great product. I think Wolfenstein and Titanfall are both good examples of how to make a great game that focuses on one core experience.

I can't name a single game that has both a single player campaign that I enjoyed as much as Wolfenstein and a multiplayer suite that is as good as Titanfall.

I haven't gotten very far in it yet but I really do like how it is a truly modern game with a lot of old school touches (health packs and armor pick ups, amo doesn't just rain from the sky, etc).  In so many ways I've already found myself thinking that this is what Duke Nukem Forever should have played like.

Hey Budz I had ask this question in the Ibotta thread but didn't get a reply so I figured you would be the best person to ask. Also sorry for being off topic here but,I got a $5 for $50 and a $10 for $100 offer if I spend $100 could I use that receipt on both offers?

So I just got back from BB with my WatchDogs preorder. After using Certs and the EGift, I got the game and HardCover guide for $18 plus still receiving the $10 cert for preordering. Can't complain about that!

With the Ibotta app. Even if you use Certs do they still count towards that?

Couldn't you "buy" a used copy from GS then return it before 7 days?

certificates will deduct from the total. They act like coupons instead of payment that why they lower the taxes to. So if you have a $10 back for a $100 purchase and spend $100 but use $10 certificate on that order then it won't count since the total will be $90 under the $100 minunum due to the certifcate and the way the certificates are processed.
