Well first off I don't think it's a rougelike with changing environments. Looks like more of a pure platformer. I mean, I think the entire point of 1001 Spikes is to learn "oh yeah, there's spikes there, don't jump there" whereas Spelunky can you over with bad spawns or when you miss seeing a tiny little arrow shooter or dark levels or whatever. In the long run, 1001 Spikes should require a lot less luck than Spelunky. As far as I can tell anyway. I haven't researched the game in depth.

1001 Spikes is not a bad game at all, but it is nothing like Spelunky other than in difficulty. It is not procedurally generated. So, yeah, Tyler may like it. For me, doing the same exact level over and over to try to get a little farther only carried me so far. Not saying I wouldn't buy it on PSN, though, and try again. It does seem like a good fit on Vita. Especially if 99 cents, which I think is what I paid for it on XBLIG. $2 at most.

Everytime when I drive into Chicago, my car almost get broadsided... on the freeway. Last month, my wife and I were about 10 miles away from Chicago, when this old Honda Civic who was going about 85 miles an hour decided to come all the way into our lane and almost slammed into our BMW suv if I hadn't taken evasive maneuvers to avoid his dumb a$$.

Start the game and let the patch load, play through a part of the first chapter, stop, delete the game file and patch, restart the game and install, stop the patch from downloading, then play the game from where you left off on super easy. should get you the trophy during the credits. if not just back through the final chapter on UBER without the patch and boom, easy platinum.

Yeah! I love MMOs but I'd have to upgrade my PC to be able to run them, and that's not going to happen when I have to shell out a couple hundred bucks. Probably for the better as my productivity would drop to zero if I played one.

FYI, Defiance goes F2P in July - it's not bad on PS3. I still play it occasionally and it's enough to get my fix.

I've danced with the idea of trying it out a few times but every time my reason kicked in and decided that was time better spent chipping away backlog while waiting for Destiny and The Division.

I'll still pass when its free.

yeah but nothing was ever put in game. Just a few drawings & nothing that was console exclusive like these are. Mass effect-grass effect, Medal of Honor-petal of honor, dead space-dead face. There may have been a couple others I'm not remembering.

UBER isn't even hard, tbh. I think if I wouldh ave played it on easy, I would have skipped any of the stealth parts and would have had to grind out the perks in the end because you can spray and run throughout the level and not die on easy.
