hey guys how's it going in here.  had a big interview (last one of three) for a fantastic job yesterday that would've changed my life and my family's life completely in a very positive way and I totally did not mail it.

Nice that UC3 is free for everyone, albeit mysterious.  

 
What is everyone's opinion on the DLC that is currently on sale for Mass Effect 3 and KoA?

I haven't played any of the Mass Effect games (own the first two) or KoA (own it on disc and through PS+), but I plan to play both and would rather get the DLC on sale now than wait until I play them when the DLC probably won't be on sale.  Are the DLC packs for these games essential/worth it?

I already own Omega for ME3 when it was free a few weeks ago, but I'm unsure about the rest of them...  Surely, as someone else has mentioned, this is EA's last push to make money off of the ME series on last-gen before the trilogy (and hopefully all of the DLC) gets bundled together in a current-gen port port?  If that's the case, I'd rather play them on my PS4 than PS3...  Frustrating that this sale only goes until Friday and e3, where they might announce ME on current-gen, is next week, though that could be part of EA's diabolical plan...

 
Also, there's a rumor going around that the "free gift" for attending the Sony E3 theater presentations is a Battlefield: Hardline beta code. Much Disappoint.

Omega, leviathan and citadeal are all pretty good due to the story details. None are quite as good as Shadow Broker from 2 though.

I think all of the single-player DLC for ME3 is worth it, though some are better than others. I would rank them thusly:

1. From Ashes (adds SO MUCH to the overall plot and a pretty cool additional squad member)

2. Citadel (contains pretty good writing and interactions amongst squad members)

3. Leviathan (adds some interesting backstory)

4. Omega

Personally, while I only have the fourth on PS3 due to the free glitch, I plan on waiting for EA to announce the full packages on PS4/XB1, since it just makes too much sense for them to do that while also teasing the next ME.

Leviathon is pretty neat and meaty. Much better than Omega from what I recall, but it's been awhile since i've played either one. From Ashes seems pretty crucial/essential to the game since it introduces a character that enhances the entire playthrough of the main game. I feel pretty certain it was originally part of the main game and then cut from the main game to be used as DLC. It's hard to justify spending any money on this DLC when the entire trilogy is only $15 but those two DLC's are worth $5 apiece in my opinion if you're going to fully enjoy Mass Effect 3.

Also, yes, there have been too many rumors of a next gen port, so if that appeals to you, I would hold off. I would guess all DLC would be included in that, but maybe not. I'd love a next gen port except that it's hard to justify playing 60 hours of it again unless there are some big changes.

I don't think it works that way, but I've never let my sub lapse so I don't know what games look like on the store for games you linked to your account via psplus. I think it is unavailable until you re-up.

Looks like I'll just get the Rainbow Moon Man bundle. I got majority of these games from previous sales and PS+ IGC. I'm interested in Atelier Escha & Logy but I don't have Ayesha yet. I might wait until both are cheaper. I wish Mass Effect 1 was on sale. I already have 2 and 3 on disc.

The Uncharted thing seems dead. I have it on disc and never downloaded it while it was on PS+ due to the file size, but I figured I would try it just now and it won't work.
 
I'm sure this has been covered 12 pages back in the discussion about memes, but why haven't the vita games gone up yet? Didn't they say the new deal was everything goes live the first Tuesday of the month?

Do people just like Shadow Broker the most because it features a character from the first game? Perhaps because I never played the first game I didn't have that connection, I preferred Overlord.

Mass Effect DLC doesn't come on sale often so its a risk not to pick it up if you think you will want to play it on current gen. Since I'm all the way through a couple of Mass Effect 2 playthroughs I don't think I would personally consider starting over with a next gen version of it anyway.

I love Watchdogs a lot more than I thought I would. I hated GTA 3 and 4, but loved 5 though it was mainly the story of 5 that I fell for. Watchdogs starts off slow and I was ready to regret day one purchase but it worked its way into my heart. Its unique enough, albeit a bit gimmicky, to distinguish itself. I keep getting sidetracked from the main story because I want to do side stuff and that didnt happen in GTA 5 for me. Also the online hacking and being invaded really spice things up and keep you on your toes. I went in expecting over-hyped mediocrity but found a solid fun experience.

I couldn't stand any of the Dualshocks up until 4. I didnt expect any controller to ever satisfy me the way the 360 has, but Dualshock 4 at the very least meets it. In time it may even exceed.

Apparently despite the killing off of the evergreens throughout this month, the new system doesn't take effect until next month.

I can live without Terraria and Mutant Mudds, since I own both on two different platforms, but it'd really suck if we didn't get Sly Cooper next week.
