Did you "beat" Murdered yet? How does the graphics look? What's the framerate?
Nope, I did not beat it yet but I think i am close to. Graphics are 1080p but nothing really great to see here and the framerate is steady 30 with only a few drops here and there.

Not 60? Strange, considering it's cross gen.
Nope, if a game runs at 1080p on ps4, its most likely always gonna be 30 fps and not 60 fps. Examples- Thief(900p), AC4, Watch_Dogs(900p), EA UFC(900p), Killzone: SF, Infamous 2nd Son. Pretty much if its a open world game its gonna be 30 fps or maybe 30-45 fps unlocked sometimes like Tomb Raider or Infamous or Killzone.

List of games that run in 1080p 60 fps on ps4-

COD Ghosts(suffers from alot of fps drops though)

Wolfenstein

NBA 2k14

Injustice

FIFA 14

Resogun

MLB 14

Trials Fusion

mostly every 2d indie game is 1080 and 60 also, but thats expected, lol.

"Another"? :-({|=
It's a well known fact that Team Ico games are piles of shit that people like only because reviewers tell them to.

When you criticize the graphics, it's because the game was designed for a previous generation.
When you criticize the controls, you're told that they're realistic. Because everyone knows what it's like to fight a giant colossus in real life.
When you criticize the nonexistent story, you just don't get it.

Sounds like the Souls games.

You must have missed the boat when it originally released on the PS2.

I feel the same as you do about ICO (although I didn't play this at release), but Shadow of the Colossus at the time was amazing.  When I first played the game in 2005 I had zero expectations, read zero reviews beforehand. The reason I played the thing was because I saw a trailer of one of the bosses which was absolutely epic at the time.

Keep in mind. PS2. 2005.   No filler enemies, all epic bosses. Bosses that you had to scale and that were larger than anything on any console at the time. There was nothing like it at the time (maybe God of War II but even those bosses still pale in comparison to the size of the Colossi).  It was kind of ridiculous seeing this on the PS2 at the time and the game is more impressive (scale-wise) than many PS3 games.

Kind of like San Andreas, you had to play the game at the time to really appreciate it. If you first play that game today you will wonder why on earth people praise the game so much but at that time the game was fun as hell and nothing could compare to the amount of things you could do in that game for fun.  Both games were groundbreaking experiences that many games have borrowed elements from.

Hoping for a GTA for vita this E3, but I highly doubt that will ever happen given how slowly the handheld has been moving.

Then I guess it's a good thing it was a false alarm:

IGN loses this gen, confirmed.

Wow just read the last 100 or so posts and have to say you guys were very on topic! Did Stotch get banned now? Or is he sitting in a room in a dark room with old Wrestlemania tapes playing and an empty bottle of jack, crying that Tyler didn't come back yet? Because that is exactly what I have been doing.

Oh yeah. I was going to play Stealth Inc., but there is an update and I couldn't get my wifi to connect and decided to play the smash hit console selling Chronovolt. Who was it again that said the games we play?

I have a 100% in chronovolt and I like Resident Evil 6. I also just made french toast out of challah bread from a local bakery like a total hipster. Happy Sunday, bitches.

Also, I'm like 3 - 4 game hours away from platting FFX. should I try to align the plat with the last guardian announcement at e3 so that spacetime will get all wacky and maybe gozer gets resurrected or something? or maybe history will rewrite itself where mike tyson never bit off that ear? I dunno. seems worth it.

I really didn't like Ico at much at all.

As for SotC, as I said earlier, it was a great experience. That said, the controls were very frustrating, but I still found it exciting taking the collosi down little by little.

Tyler being gone this long is like when you're a kid and your favorite WWF wrestler would be gone for a while and come back to one of those huge reactions. But then you find out he actually sold out to Vince McMahon to get a shot at the title.

To keep things on topic, nobody mentioned that Constant C looks like it's coming to PS3.  Hasn't got the best scores in the world but looks like a pretty decent puzzle platformer.  Came out on Xbox a few months ago.  Probably PC as well.

Also, 1001 Spikes has separate trophy lists for PS4 and Vita which is awesome!

Who was it here that said they felt like they were playing Watch Dogs "the wrong way"?  That's kind of how I felt.  The game was getting super boring even just after the first act.  Not sure if I was playing it wrong or the game is honestly just a shell of better open world games like GTA V.

Act 1 Watch Dogs gameplay spoilers:

I think I did three or found "camera hacking" missions which were shockingly unfun and boring as you just kind of looked around for the next camera and a couple things to blow up.  I also did three or four car chase missions which are also super boring because you basically just have to ram into the car over and over again.  By the time you're done with that you've got police on your tail so you have to go hide which gets boring equally as quickly.

I know there is a way to take out the cars in car chases using hacks, but I really couldn't figure out how to orchestrate it.  I'd usually just try to hold Square as soon as I saw that little blue box pop up on the screen but again, that wasn't really fun or satisfying.  Either I was playing these parts wrong or it just wasn't fun.

The constant phone hacking pop-ups when you walk around with your phone out around people is super annoying too.  I quit early in the 2nd Act and took it back to Best Buy for $44 trade in.  I'll give it one more shot when it's around $10.

Were you banned or something I couldn't tell

So I've never been a fan of vertical stands for consoles, but I was considering one for my PS4 due to space limitations. Anyone else using one? Is it fairly stable?

When I first played Chronovolt with the gyroscopic controls, I hated it, but the analog controls make it playable. It's a 3d Marble Madness and this I like. I am 2 levels away from finishing it. I was trying to finish it yesterday but I binged watched the entire second season of Orange is the New Black and didn't get home until 4AM.

I don't know what your current set up is, but if you have multiple consoles in one area, I would probably choose a less expensive console to put in a stand. I always feel like standing up a console is an accident waiting to happen.

Why is it some feel the need to criticize every popular game?  And not just once, but the same people repeat the same crap ad nauseum every single time these games get brought up, just pure negativity on auto-pilot.  Worse yet, the posts aren't original or funny - the posters themselves seem to think that their posts are golden wisps of wisdom that they're bestowing on the rest of us... rather than the stale little dried up turds they actually are.

Hipster trolls are the worst, gotta hate the 'in' thing and act like they're somehow better than that.  Nobody cares that you don't like a revered game.  Nobody thinks you're cooler or wiser, and certainly not funnier.  It's just ugly.

Yeah, while I was gone I saw GTA V, Red Dead Redemption TLoU, and Shadow of the Colossus all ripped to shreds. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but just because a game is successful and/or super well-liked doesn't mean you automatically have to hate it. It's ok to enjoy popular games. You don't have to like them all but hating all of them just screams hipster.

Criticism is fine, but attacks on the people that enjoy them by claiming they only enjoy them because they're sheep or whatever is the best way to ensure that there's no reason for me to lend credence to that person's opinions. We may not always agree about the quality of the games mentioned in this thread, but at least have some respect for those on the other side of the fence and discuss the opinions, not the people.

Were there tedious missions in gta v? Yes. But there were also some really fun missions and overall I really enjoyed it. I thought red dead redemption was awesome, especially the story and atmosphere. Again, like a lot of open world games, there were tedious side missions.

I didn't much care for Ico, but I liked Shadow of the Colossus a lot, the only thing I didn't like about it was the horrible frame rate and that was fixed in the HD version for PS3.

To be fair, I always thought that game was a bit overrated (only own the PS2 version), but that it had a lot of potential that was undermined by the underpowered platform it was on. I liked it, but it definitely had its faults, and not just bug/FPS-wise.

Also sad they cut a big number of colossi. :whistle2:(

I still need to play Ico, but it wouldn't surprise me if it's another game that's a bit overrated too.

I loved Red Dead Redemption and everything in it. GTA V for me had no reedeming qualities except for the city and how detailed it was. That said, they have tried to bring social commentary into their games, but the "kill hookers and wreck the city" shtick has being permanently ingrained into the minds of the masses when they see a GTA game now.

I'm afraid to ask but what are these numbers you all are comparing.

On a side note, every time I see white on gray avatar (like affa's), I check to see if it's jay making another alt.

On an on topic note, I thought Ico was incredible when I played it.  I had no pre-conceptions and enjoyed it so much that I bought it for someone else.

They had no class and returned it unopened.  Philistines.
