Grim Fandango will probably be just as good, but No Man's Sky strikes me as a game that'll have more potential on PC because of the randomly generated aspect. But you're right, I could see it getting dirt cheap.

Uncharted 4 will be the last Uncharted game, but only for Naughty Dog. Then will come Uncharted 5, which will be developed by another studio, feature a younger Drake, cel shaded graphics, and be multi platform. After that we'll see five more Uncharted games in the next four years, at least one of which will be a racing game, and another just a mini game compilation.

So tomorrow we'll see the new Zelda game for Wii U. Gotta love those franchises Nintendo has. Virtually no changes to them in 20 years, but people still act like they're all the greatest games of all time.

I'm pretty sure that No Man's Sky will look fucking amazing on my HDTV, so that's where I'd like to experience that game. Grim Fandango could go either way, but I like to support Double Fine's console stuff when the opportunity arises.

But we can only mention 3 specifically because the rest are actually PS4 indie games that are being ported, HD collection ports, and the rest of the PS1/PSP games we haven't made available yet.

Was starting to regret my PS4 purchase because that white looks so nice, but that price is helping me not regret it anymore. And I figured it was gonnd be $450, no reason to sell the best selling console and one of the best selling games of the year in a discounted bundle price.

Hopefully with Vita TV coming over despite what I assume were tepid sales back East it means they'll continue to look for ways to support the system. Maybe TGS or Gamescom will introduce some more titles for it, although at this point I'm resigned to the fact that it will be a system for smaller, sometimes more niche, titles, and I'm fine with that. I certainly didn't need Borderlands 2 on it, but I'll be a little sad if something of the caliber of Uncharted GA or Killzone Mercenaries doesn't show up again in the Vita's lifetime.

Still waiting for Gravity Rush 2 to get a trailer and a release date.

PS: I'm totally fine with a lot of PS4/Vita cross-buy opportunities as well. Especially with all of those PS4 games that are not exactly pushing those system specs.

The only game tonight that made me stop what I was doing was Batman.  Uncharted was great but with no gameplay footage it does not matter.  Also Metal Gear Solid 5 just keeps putting me off with every trailer.  I want to like the Metal Gear series but it just so fucking weird.

Batman looked amazing, but two things turned me off.

1. It looked TOO good. Anyone who's played the Arkham series should know there's a pattern by now. They show off something that looks amazing and then the actual product suffers from frame drops to the point where it feels like a slideshow. I know, new hardware and all that, but don't be surprised when it happens.
2. The confirmation of that Scarecrow DLC pretty much confirms that retarded challenge maps will be back as a way of making the game seem like it has more content than it does. Take your teams off challenge maps and focus them on making the main story longer and even more awesome. The only reason anyone plays challenge maps is for the trophies.

As for the show tonight, I said all day that surprises are the best part of E3, and Sony had way more in their conference than MS did. LBP3 alone was more surprising than anything at the MS conference, and coming this year is even better for Sony.  White PS3 also came out of nowhere.  Dead Island 2 was a surprise despite not being an exclusive, Magicka 2, Grim Fandango, and Let It Die too.

Powers/Ratchet movie part went on way too long (why does Sony never learn?) and most of the PSN discussion was pretty worthless (YouTube is great but being able to chat with streamers on Ustream/Twitch is not E3-worth news). 

9/10.

And watching it in the theater was a lot of fun.  Not too many wannabe comedians there and it looked great on the big screen. Absolutely going again next year if it's available.

 
I know people want to see gameplay and all that, but why is it so hard to have the gameplay be coordinated and actually useful? The LBP3 demo was so awkward and just reminded me of some of the terrible Nintendo demos in the past. If you're going to show off a game, do it with some skill. I don't want to see "Hey here's how bad you're going to be at this game when it comes out!"

Well MS did announce the Next Tomb Raider, Crackdown 3, Scalebound (Platinum games), and Phantom Dust.

Edit: Also Ori and the Blind Forest.

Edit 2: Oh yeah and Playdead's next game "Inside".

On and, I'm very mad that so much time was spent just showing trailers for TLoU and GTAV in PS4. At least when MS showed off their Halo collection, they told you about all this new content. TLoU and GTAV were literally just things we've already seen, only slightly more HD. How about this:

"And in addition to all the great content we've show today, we're pleased to announce that two of PS3's greatest games are coming to the PS4 this fall."

Graphic on screen showing both with release dates, done. 15 seconds, move onto something else.
 
I was looking for my copy of Phantom Dust last weekend.

Because I was going to sell it.

That game had me all hyped up and instead I found it to be a weird mess.

Time to actually find it and let some fool overpay for it.

I forgot about Tomb Raider, that was a good reveal. Crackdown seem almost guaranteed based on Phil Spencer hints and ntkrnl leaks. Ditto with Platinum Games and ntkrnl. Maybe it's not fair to hold leaks against MS, but regardless neither of them were a surprise at all to me.

I still don't know what Phantom Dust is so that should probably get some credit as a "surprise" as well.

And I did think the MS conference was very good (8/10) I just thought the Sony one was better.

Look. When I beta tested BF3, I went out and pre-ordered the game right there and then. When I tested BF4, I said then that the game was a complete mess, and decided to skip BF4 until DICE fix the game. That game came out pretty much unplayable, and still is 7 months later.

If Hardline is working fine right now, then there's a good chance that it will be a good upon released.
