Look. When I beta tested BF3, I went out and pre-ordered the game right there and then. When I tested BF4, I said then that the game was a complete mess, and decided to skip BF4 until DICE fix the game. That game came out pretty much unplayable, and still is 7 months later.

If Hardline is working fine right now, then there's a good chance that it will be a good upon released.

I believe Visceral is only responsible for the main campaign of Hardline.

Edit: It's been confirmed in this article that Visceral is indeed taking the lead in both the SP and MP components of Hardline, with DICE providing their expertise and input.

I never finished Dead Space. But I did like that game a lot. Feels good, just not dropping $60 good.

Wasn't talking about graphics. Just more the difference between console Minecraft and PC Minecraft in terms of limits and such.

 
Sony definitely deserves credit for not demoing Project Morpheus on stage.  It wouldn't have worked perfectly and it's the type of thing that needs to be experienced first-hand to get the full effect of it.  I was so happy they didn't try and show it off.

What bothered me about it was "Hey, we're bringing out this upgraded version of TLoU this month and some you might be playing it for the first time but here's a trailer full of spoilers anyway."

I've already played it, but i thought that was kind of weird. They can't show off upgraded visuals without spoilers? And to a captive audience no less.

It was definitely weird. Myself and about a quarter of the theater looked away as soon as we saw the spoiler warning. At least they had the sense to put that warning on there.

See I couldn't even get BF3 beta to start for more than 2 seconds without crashing and often it wouldn't even get that far. I ended up playing that game 2+ hours a night almost every night from shortly after release until BF4. BF4 we had an insane amount of fun with the beta and it worked great. Game came out and I lost interest after less than a month.

Either way I'm not buying it before black Friday like I did BF4. Guaranteed to be half off and not going to get suckered on any hype.

The spoilers didnt seem anything major. I havent gotten very far in the game and had no idea what I was looking at lol. Though it was pretty funny hearing the loud "Oh shits!" and "BUT I HAVENT FINISHED YET!" from the audience.

 
I gotta say this BF Hardline is pretty bland and not that fun at all. I don't even know when my team is winning or losing and the weapons suck.

 
I get the complaints about the Powers section, but as a fan of the comic I was kind of hyped for it.  Overall a solid, if a bit meandering presentation.

I noticed kind of possible hint of social commentary at the very end of the trailer, I am very interested to see what they will do with it. Though the premise of the trailer is a little off, the jogger dude got bitten by what he must of thought was a rabid person and then decided to go for a run instead of seeking medical attention?

Bloodborne yes, I am intrigued, though it would have been nice to have a better sense of what kind of gameplay it is going to feature since it's not officially another Souls game.

Might pick up a PS TV, I don't really have a need for another portable system and it would be nice to be able to play the PSP RPGs I own comfortably for several hours on a big screen and to play this accelerating pile of free vita PS+ games.

Also that feature that allows coop with friends who don't yet own the game has the potential to be a huge factor going forward.

They show off something that looks amazing and then the actual product suffers from frame drops to the point where it feels like a slideshow. 2. The confirmation of that Scarecrow DLC pretty much confirms that retarded challenge maps will be back as a way of making the game seem like it has more content than it does. Take your teams off challenge maps and focus them on making the main story longer and even more awesome. The only reason anyone plays challenge maps is for the trophies.

Never said you were, but that was something for that pushes towards the PS4 version.

I don't know that Minecraft is a fair comparison because No Man's Sky doesn't seem to have any sort of mining elements that causes it to need to generate that amount of stuff all the way down, up, and all around. Plus, Minecraft can be a very resource-heavy game due to being made in Java, so it van have issues on good PCs.

For those buying a PS TV are you going with the bundle or just the system? I don't need the extras but seems like a decent price for the bundle.

Makes sense given that it's a movie tie in. First game is where we got introduced to all of the characters were likely to see in the film.

It's odd because usually "re-imaginings" are only made when a series hasn't had a game in a while, since the whole point of making one is to reintroduce a forgotten series to the market. It would make sense to remake Jak or Crash Bandicoot, since they have both been inactive for a while and aren't at the forefront of people's minds. R&C's last game came out just a few months ago and anyone who wants to play the series already is.

Maybe if there is actual game play I will give MGS5 a try. I couldn't make it through the first 3 or 4 cut scenes in MGS4. If it is hours of cut-scenes then no thanks.

 
Give them streamlined gameplay, they bitch, give them story based cutscenes, they bitch.

Yet they like the rote repetition of dying in games like Spelunky.  :shame:  :nottalking:

I'd prefer a new adventure too, but my immediate thought was if they are redoing Ratchet 1 I hope they add in strafe this time.

 
So with GTA V coming to PS4, I've narrowed my PS3 buy list down to 7, with only 4 of those being games that are already released:

Is Planetside 2 any good? Can you enjoy it without paying money? My oldest tried that on his laptop and it couldn't handle it, so I'm sure he'll be interested in that F2P game and as a result I'm curious about it.

How's Entwined, Frisky (and anyone else who bought it)? It looks like it would be entertaining and it's pretty, but I'm on a budget these days!

 
Right now, my interest has diminished significantly on returning to play games on my PS3. The only things keeping it at the ready are The Wolf Among Us and The Walking Dead Season 2. The steady stream of PS4 games have been welcome, and will be interesting to see if the games I have right now carry me into the rest of July and beginnings of August. After I finish and platinum the four games on my sig, we'll see what happens. 

 
I can't beat the final boss in Hell on Gunslugs.  Any tips?  I can get to him with a continue but his little minions rip me to shreds in the 2nd and 3rd waves of the fight.

Oh, and by the way, Gunslugs is awesome.  You're welcome to everyone I convinced to buy it.
