I just got them and had the original pulse/elites before getting the Gold. The Gold is definitely a step up to me. They are lighter and so slightly more comfortable. The sound quality is much better in my opinion. The virtual 7.1 sounds much more like 7.1 as I hear things from all sides that I didnt notice in the old headphones.

I am excited to be able to try them out. I have a 2 month old and 4 year old and only really get to game at night and have to keep the volume down while playing.

Watched the whole thing, must have zoned out or forgotten about it. Not the end of the world, life isn't letting me play multitplayer games right now anyway (i'll be extra sad when ps4 TLOU comes out and i won't have time for mp matches)

 
Yeah I watched the whole thing and vaguely remember this now the he mentioned it. The middle almost put me to sleep. Oh well. I am getting Destiny for sure.
 
Okay, so that was the first time I've tried streaming something.  How was the quality of the stream?  I put it at "Best" but noticed there was a "Best HD".  If there wasn't any problems I might try that setting next time.

NOTE - this is supposedly really early footage and the E3 build is supposed to blow the doors off this vid in terms of image quality, etc.  Multiple articles i've seen drooled over the updated visuals.  I think there is also more mechanics now (dodging, etc) but I'm not sure.

No shields, blunderbuss instead.  Specifically going for more 'proactive' combat, less defensive.   Weapons and player (including gun) very customizable from what i understand.

Who was it in the thread who posted about Destiny Alpha codes on eBay? Big thanks, sold mine for $27. That's over half the cost of the full game with GCU :whistle2:D
 
Don't all ps owners get access on June 17 or something like that? Worst case a preorder at GS gets a beta code printed. I can't wait to get home and jump back in. I can't remember who said it being " the love child of halo and borderlands", I can't agree more. I'm still trying to get my gliding down pact.

That's insane. I guess when you think about it, i'd rather spend $27 to play a game all weekend than $27 to go to a concert, ball game, etc. for a few hours. Still, that's pretty crazy.

 
I signed up the destiny alpha/beta but never received a code. :whistle2:( I did preorder it thru amazon, I would love to start playing this weekend. if anyone has one they won't use I'll gladly take it!

So it's not a PS Plus thing? I thought that usually grants access to that sort of thing.

The beta begins on July 17 for those that pre-ordered the game. There may be giveaways elsewhere, but no guarantees outside of a pre-order.

 
Is there a way to remap the virtual buttons for remote play? I tried playing Resogun but found it difficult with L2/R2 at the top of the touchpad. It feels like if they were instead at the bottom it would be more usable.

Depends on the game but Resogun lets you rebind most of the controls.

that's the point. Zombie games are in an over abundance and most of them suck. So hopefully Zombie fever that developers and publishers are suffering from will start to go away. I was sick of the zombie fad in all forms fairly quick and the worst for me is video games, because that's where I spend most of my time. I play a lot of games and I can't avoid every zombie game.

I was pretty surprised. I listed it last night ($30 was the going price so I figured I'd go a little lower) and all I got were offer emails of like, $4. Was about to accept one for $20 on my lunch when in the process of researching how best to sell a digital code on eBay somebody bought it at the $27 asking price. Definitely lucked out.

 
Some guys in the steam thread aren't agreeing with me in saying that the Last of Us is the best game in the last 3 years, please back me up Sony bros.
