Didn't all of the free games for PS+ up until a certain point expire?  I've tried using all of my ps+ games on my ps3, and none of them work (glad that I eventually bought disgaea 3 for my vita)

Good name. It's a pretty crappy sale. I'll probably buy PSASBR for PS3 though, then taste the PS+ slap in a couple months. Ditto with Hot Shots Vita for $3.75.

I spent my Fathers Day at Hershey Park with my wife and kids. It was awesome! Perfect whether and small crowd. I think this will become a ritual. The lines were super short or non-existent even on the big ticket rides all day (actually a 45 minute wait for The Comet in the morning, but then 0 to 10 minute lines on everything the rest of the day). Plus our oldest (13) has finally become a coaster fiend. Riding partner! :) Kids are awesome! Take that, Tyler!

No, they should still work as long as you have an active sub. Did you renew it at any point that would mean a number of your games were set to expire recently? All you'd have to do is update the license and it'll fix that.

 
Okay, looks like everything works except, of course, the copy of the genesis version of Castle of Illusion that was free to ps+ along with the regular game (which I had already bought but not in time for the bonus genesis game).  Nevermind, that one works too, now, thanks, I launched it, went into the store, and everything from ps+ worked after that.

Wii U + XBOX family < PS4 (PS4 under 200K though)

Watch Dogs > 1.25 Million units (46% of sales on PS4, 29% on Xbone, 14% on 360, 11% on PS3)

Mario Kart 8 ~ 375K units

Vita 2000 bundle sold 56K units, BL2 sold another 27K stand alone.

I know long term Mario Kart will sell billions, but it has to be slightly disappointing that it didn't cause Wii U sales to go through the roof, right?
 
I'm guessing that this Mutant Blobs Attack Delicious thing is related to a PS4 version of the game, which would explain the Vita Update thing that will be on sale as a discount for those that own the Vita version of the game.

I think it was only out for 2 days on the May charts. But yeah, WiiU did estimated 61K in June. And out of the 375K for Mario Kart 8, only 6.6% of that came in bundle form, meaning they sold about 25K bundles. That's low when you compare it to the 375K MK8 units sold, meaning the vast vast vast majority of buyers already had a WiiU.

But probably not fair to judge until we see the June numbers. E3 response will also be seen in the June numbers.

Really? I heard statistics that the release of Mario Kart 8 quadrupled sales of the Wii u.

 
If anyone cares - and that's unlikely since fighters are received as well here as Japanese schoolgirl panties are - the new update for Dead or Alive 5: Ultimate with the new character is up. No idea what the balance changes are, if any.
 
Oops. Missed that Mutant Blobs Attack was announced for PS3 on The Drop. Vita upgrade would be to get the PS3 version for a discount and the bundle would be About a Blob and Mutant Blobs Attack bundled together since they're $7.99 each right now, so a bundle for $11.49 would be a reasonable discount together as a bundle. I can't say that a PS3 port would be that enticing since the touch controls would make it a better fit on PS4, especially at only 10% off.

Now I'm not sure what the announcement they're teasing on Twitter could be.

Yes I indeed meant Week to Week! Quadrupling of total sales in a week would've been hilarious. Another cool thing is that 15% of the userbase has bought Mario Kart 8! Previous releases, it was only at 7-8%.

That's because the Wii U owners aren't 75% casual gamers like during the Wii Era. This is also the reason the Wii U is struggling in sales.

Sony Gold Wireless Headset. $99, cable free, option for virtual surround sound (It sounds better in stereo--VSS thins it out a lot, but useful if you're playing a game with good positional cues). They're definitely the best price/performance option available for PS4 ATM.

Vita Slim numbers weren't epic, but that's a nice uptick. And there may have been supply constraints. Targets near me were all sold out within a couple days of launch and never restocked. Amazon has been OOS more often than in stock--they're even selling "Like New" bundles on Warehouse Deals at &gt; MSRP.

I've read like 5 reviews, and all of them talk about Sorcery Saga being difficult:

For example,

It's actually got quite a few solid reviews on metacritic, though it's average is tanked by a couple really low reviews. The user reviews have it up over 8. Then, on other forums i read, people are saying it's good but flawed (which i'm okay with). At $12 i think i have to at least give it a try. there's just so much conflicting opinion on it...

I played Portal 2 so horribly today that I'm punishing myself by going after a trophy in Stranger's Wrath that at this moment seems impossible because I passed up buying any stamina upgrades in hopes of obtaining all trophies in a single playthrough.

But I don't want to punish myself too much so I'm bitching about it in here in hopes that I get in the next dozen or so tries.

Best tip I can give for Resogun on Veteran: Use Nemesis, especially its fast-recharging boost that can 1-hit-kill any non-boss enemy type.
