I'm almost certain they've cycled some stuff into the flash deals since after the first "round" started to repeat, but it's not a lot. I'm not sure if they're still doing that, either.

Dangerous Dave is pretty dang hard. I amazingly got through 3 levels of the first one last time I played....wasn't easy and took a while to get through some levels. They're pretty fun games though.

Complete, I have the Ultima Complete Saga and D&D Master Set.

Will probably get the Roller Coaster Tycoons and the Spellforce packs (unless someone has it already, since I have Spellforce Platinum on Steam).

Debating on the Might and Magic packs, Rebellion pack, Bullfrog Classics (have the best ones already) and the Wing Commander Saga.

I need to get some work done, so I need to take about 3 hours away from this...

But I am willing to buy a complete set of any of these for myself, then I will buy a 2nd set for gifting.  
Rebellion, Wing Commander, or Bullfrogs.  

Talk about it, agree on it, and post it up in an easy format.

I dont think you have to buy the complete second set. Just add the complete set to your cart and delete the ones you dont want. I didnt go through with the purchase, but it worked in my cart for Wing Commander.

Once you own a complete set you can buy piecemeal, fyi. No need for the broader scheming, afik.

 
Hmm buy the one game in a pack that is on my wishlist or check the rest of the boxes to get them all for slightly more money. I think we all know which option I will choose.   :twisted:

If you own the pack and want to buy individual packs, gift the entire pack. Then on the page after, remove the items you don't want to rebuy.

Took me a few minutes to figure that out.

Or just go to the item pages and add them to your cart. The sale price will show up at checkout.

 
I picked up Jade Empire:Special Edition.  Looking at getting The Legacy of Kain bundle, and I really only want Wing Commander 3&4 out of the Wing Commander bundle. 

 
I'd end up buying more if you could mix and match instead of getting the whole bundles.  All I really want is UT2K4 and the original Larry series.  It's just hard to justify the whole thing when you only want one.  I'll probably end up waiting to see if UT goes on sale on steam and not deciding on Larry until it's too late.

 
I wonder why some of the bumdles aren't complete.  There are 2 Leisure Suit Larry games and 1 Legacy of Kain just that ! noticed.

Codemasters owns the rights to all the Larry games, except for Leisure Suit Larry Reloaded, which was published by a different company under license.

The rights for Blood Omen, on the other hand, are apparently still owned by what remains of Silicon Knights, so we'll probably never see a digital release.

Ladies and Gentlemen, I bought the Rebellion bundle.

When I tallied up the games that I wanted from that bundle, it came to $15. So I just said, fuck it, I'm going deep.

 
lol, yeah I know. That's ok though. I'm willing to help people out. The Rebellion bundle is a 48 hour thing because it's gonna be one of tomorrow's deals. So if people can't get in touch with me tonight, there's still tomorrow. Plus there will be the end sale re-cap day.

Anyway, if anybody wants help with any of the games from the rebellion bundle, send me a PM. You gotta pay up front and pay via Paypal.

You are the DOG! Simpsonps is offline right now but if he/she did not buy that bundle yet then I will definitely hit you up for a few games. Obviously you ended up with everything but which Empire Earth games were you going to get before you decided to go all in?

Do you have the Settlers Saga bundle by chance or Might and Magic RPG Classics?

Question for anyone - Wizardry 8 worth a GOG purchase or is the Steam version fine?

I have Wiz8 on Steam.

That doesn't work as is, out the box w/ Steam overlay.

Had to copy game folder completely over to C:\Wiz8 and add that game-folder's EXE file as Non-Steam just to get it to boot w/ Steam overlay.

That still leaves one Larry game not sold on GoG. Yes, it's apparently terrible to the point of unplayability, but they could have at least folded it into one of the other releases as a bonus if they didn't think it would sell on it's own. Too bad about Blood Omen, I assumed Silicon Knights had completely lost the rights.

Yes to the Might & Magic RPG Classics, no to The Settlers pack.

Before I bought the whole thing, I was looking to pick up:

Empire Earth 3
Evil Genius
Moonbase Commander
Sniper Elite: Berlin 1945

At only 60% off, it was about $14.50. In addition to those games though, there were a couple of other games that I was kind of, sort of interested in as well. So I figured that I might as well just buy the whole thing.

Good to know. I hate it when I have to mess with things but I know that's just part of PC gaming.

 
Question.  If I bought a bundle where I already owned 1 or more of the games, do I get a extra copy?  Or does it just give me all the games but the one I have?

EDIT: Nvm, I see that it just gives me the ones I don't have.

It also discounts the would-be sale price of the one(s) you already own through GOG, so at least there's that.
 
do you need to play the first two dark falls games to play dark fall 3? Also for those wondering about dangerous dave I actually bought it from a previous sale. Not exactly sure which  :whistle2:$

it was smart for gog to have their sale a weak before steam. Now I have no money  :-({|=

If you're really counting Team 17's Box Office Bust as a Larry game, I would argue that there are other games not included in this collection, most notably 1992's The Laffer Utilities (the silly Norton Utilities parody) and 1998's Leisure Suit Larry's Casino (a Larry-themed Casino game which also included online play). At least the latter two actually had the title character in them; the "Larry" in MCL and BOB is a different person altogether (not to mention Larry's creator Al Lowe had no part in the development of either game.)

 
This sale is freaking awesome, I'm glad GoG stepped up its pricing strategy.  In the unlikely event someone is splitting up the Hitman bundle, I'll gladly take Contracts for $1.99.
