It's hard watching soccer games on a (non-big) phone. The ball is almost as tiny as a hockey puck on a big screen TV. None-the-less I will try while at lunch. If they had a little light at the back of the net I could tell whether or not we got a goal!

I'm a Braves fan, but if I had to pick a team to root for in the AL, it would be the O's. I think I mentioned this here before but a former co-worker of mine is a die hard O's fan, so I came to like them a good bit during the time we worked together.

That said, the Jays still look good this year.

This is right, but a tie does nothing for either Portugal or Ghana, so as the game gets later and if it's still tied, both sides are going to start opening up and giving it everything they've got. I highly doubt that game ends in a tie.

I just find it extremely odd how no one ever really gives a shit about soccer but when the World Cup comes around everyone is suddenly mesmerized by it. I'll stick to the I don't give a shit myself, World Cup or not.

That's pretty cool, I didn't know that about myself. PS3 challenges were definitely harder than Vita for me. I want to do the PS3 version too, but I just have so many damn games to play. Vita I would just play in bed before I fell asleep. I remember those rising, homing, and spiral shots are what took me forever.
 
I'm wondering what some teams are going to do with their picks to accomodate LeBron and Melo. 2014 is the year the draft and free agency will definitely reshape the league once more.

On a soccer note, Germany very aggressive so far. I like the brisk pace they are going at.

 
I went into the kitchen here at work and literally everyone is in there watching soccer? What the hell is going on!? It was funny to listen to them act like they knew what they were talking about though. It was like play by play with Madden. He's got the ball, he's going to kick it, yep he kicked it, etc. etc.

What a childish way to look at it. Crytek is a great developer and it's a shame that a lot of people will be losing their jobs. It's also a shame if Ryse 2 really is cancelled. The first one was a fun, but shallow ride. I feel like they could have made something really special in a sequel.

Are we talking about the same thing? No. I'm glad that putting all their eggs on one basket for Ryse misfired, because if you read the article, it became a fight over intellectual rights with both sides clearly looking bad. But you didn't, hence the ignorant comment.

What other thing can you be talking about? You're glad they're in financial trouble because they decided to make a Microsoft exclusive. I'm sure you would feel the same way if this were about a PS4 launch title too, right?

Download-only + 4 hours or so for a normal playthrough (i.e., not going for 100%) is somewhat concerning, but the $14.99 launch price hopefully means it'll be on sale for PS+ members at $3.75/free before too long. I should probably start the Season 1 set that I own.

Not much  interesting in the July Ps Plus. I won't play Dead Space 3. I'll  try and Vessel and likely get stuck on some puzzle 1/3rd of the way though the game.

Will get the Vita games, but won't play them anytime soon. Having fun with Zero's Last Reward and Guacamelle.

I plan on pre-ordering DW Gundam for sure. I love those games.

Since it started as a Kinect game they were probably not able to go multi-platform even when they ditched Kinect. Unless you have more information that the rest of us, i'm not sure your statement is fair since they were likely contractually bound to make that game as an Xbox exclusive.

Where in my post does it mention anything about me being happy about their financial troubles? I'm glad the game got canned because of poor judgment when they got in bed with Microsoft, plus the quality of the game itself. Their financial troubles are given highlight due to them not securing funding from Microsoft so they don't have to spend money in the next game.

It was funded by Microsoft. Then negotiating on the sequel turned sour when Microsoft demanded they handed over the ip rights in exchange of funding.

1. I read your original post with link, noting your phrase "Serves them right for playing favorites."

2. I click the link and see the headline that prominently mentions Crytek's financial troubles.

3. I associate your "serves them right" attitude with their being in financial trouble.

You didn't mention anything specifically regarding their financial troubles, but you also didn't elaborate on what you meant by that phrase.
