If I didn't care I wouldn't talk about them. I've explained several times why I think the trophy system is broken and unfair, but if you want to continue to mischaracterize that as "boooo trophies" then whatever.

Some of those sites offer metrics besides trophy count. And playfire has a great and *diverse* community. Met a lot of cool people there, including someone who introduced me to...CAG.

@squirrel - yeah, but as you know I'm not too heavy on the PC side of things. I play what's necessary. I'll be on the PC ver. of Terraria, btw, after I finish up on vita. Don't know if you still play.

It isn't so much about number of plats. If so, I would have a bit of a wider lead. It is more about rarity of the trophies with how they do their scoring on TT. Even though I have not got a ton of trophies lately, since many of them are rare-ish trophies from PayDay 2, it was still a pretty good number of points.

But I don't think we are getting slapped... The value is with PS Plus all the way. Where are the xbox gamers that have stated for years they are fine with paying for Gold because it is the best infastructure out there (Which it still is), but honestly I am content with what Sony's online brings, add in the discounts and great choices of free games over time... and it becomes great

 
When Guacamelee first came out, who woulda thought that Xbox owners would get it for free before (North American) Playstation owners?

 
apparently I still have close to $100 in converted points in my xbox account.  what can I do with it if I don't have and won't have an xbox?  I wanted to buy the killer instinct seasons because I have a problem but apparently you can't get them through the web store (just the f2p version)?  Do MS space bucks buy anything else?

We only got 6 PS+ games this month. They could have given us 15. You don't consider that a slap in the face?

Doki-Doki doesn't perform great on PS3 or Vita. *SLAP*

Plenty of people already bought Strider and Towerfall! *SLAP SLAP*

Dead Space 3 is the worst of the three! *SUPER SLAP*

Because there are some actual stakes in their matches to deserve full support of the country, unlike the many matches they play to get the opportunity to potentially play in the World Cup. It's the same for any event with so much downtime between the big boy games. Nobody gives a shit about most of the Olympic events until a few months before the Olympics start when shit starts to get real.

 
Oh and congrats all the USA fans in here!  That was a miserable 90 minutes but we survived.  Praise Portugal.

That's insane tho, 100 more plats than me and i thought i did well. I'm lucky I played some of those rare games like kane n lynch and bulletstorm. peace man

This is absolutely true. My family is from another country and whenever this or the Olympics come on everyone suddenly wants to get all nationalistic. I used to find it annoying (especially since I was born here) but I get it now. It's the world stage, I suppose. They just need to figure out a way to make these things more economical. Shameful the amount of money wasted.

I think you are mixing up some co-op games I have been playing in there with ones that Bumslie's group has been playing :)

If you had been around more when I was doing RDR I think you would have finished all the online ones for that. I realize that one night we did work together to get the 9 player one was a bit of a clusterfuck. I felt like I was trying to herd cats, lol.

FYI, PayDay 2 is a serious time investment and many of the trophies require you to get lucky to get the right scenario to even try for the trophy. The new DLC makes one of them easier though if someone in the group has the Transport missions.

 
Has anyone seen any good deals for larger HDDs for a PS3 lately?  I have a launch 60gb and an 80gb that I was considering upgrading now that I have PS+.  Or I guess a better question: is it even worth throwing new HDD into these due to their age or should I just look for a newer model and go from there?

psa -- i know some of us couldn't log into sony rewards for a couple days... it seems to be back up.   there's that 2.50 movie thing on page 18 or 19 of this thread iirc.   i only could do it for 50 cents though because i don't have a fb account and wouldn't spam my friends even if i did.

also -- for those of you buying codes, mine appeared as a link on my actual order confirmation page the second i bought it, really small, just below the item itself.  this is after it asking me for my address, etc... the link was pretty easy to miss.

When I was checking a lot of these games out I saw I'm #1 on TT for Foosball, but didn't crack the top 50 on PSN (difference being Hot Shots is actually a decent game and Foosball is... well, Foosball).

Yeah, I'm on Raptr but I haven't really gotten into it. Maybe I'll give it another look.

It was surprisingly difficult to google what "goals difference" is. But finally I found it. Total goals scored minus total goals allowed. It makes sense, I suppose, as a tie breaker.

And now I will tell you about that time that I got a PS4 for $296….

Not yet perhaps, but you'll coming over eventually.

And I never actually got into Terraria, kept getting sidetrack with other games. I'd certainly give it another go though whenever you want to play.
 
I only give a fuck about the WSOP, World  Cup, the Olympics, the Superbowl, and maybe the Stanley Cup. The only sports I watch casually are poker and mma/kickboxing.    

Why the hell would i want to watch judo/curling/fencing/whatever matches every day?  Just give me the 'best of' during the Olympics and I'm happy (though I might watch judo more often if I could).   We all have a limited amount of time to invest in watching stuff, so it makes complete sense for many to only care about something like soccer/football during the World Cup
