How does your Steam Wallet work when you don't have enough for a game? I have 14.00 in my wallet, AOWIII is 20. Does it take the 14 from my wallet and ask me to paypal the rest? Or is it going to paypal the 20?

1) I was on Pink Team this entire sale and won 0 games off my wishlist. Even today. Edit: I'm unlucky.

2) Valve was cheap and didn't even put games on as deep of sales as they have been(Ex: Fallout New Vegas Ultimate, Counter Strike GO, etc.) Edit: Valve sucks

3) Ikaruga never hit 75% off because people voted for the other garbage >.< Edit: Community sucks

4) SiN Episodes: Emergence had NO discount at all. Edit: Valve sucks

5) Payday 2 was 80% off during its Daily Deal. Today it was put as 80% off again. Then it was changed to 67% off which is where it stands. Edit: Corrected in store

If you want a decent Mass Effect-style action game, but w/ a bit more strategic elements - The Bureau's certainly decent enough.

Was it great? Eh, there was so much lost potential, but the potential for a great game was there. But it was still fun imo.

My biggest complaint - lack of storytelling + character depth.

It's the execution on that stuff is all over the place - and when it gets interesting (in the back 1/3rd), it's a bit too late.

Which is disappointing - since Bioshock 2: Minerva's Den was great w/ that stuff (also developed by 2K Marin).

Really dug the art-direction, for sure.

Yeah any remaining value it will say how do you want to pay it and you choose something like paypal and the difference is charged there.

 
Curse Ubisoft for keeping Brother in Arms pack and Anno 1404 at 40% throughout ... BiA used to be on better sales, and I'm not picking it up till it's back to that again! And it took years for them to finally release Anno 1404 back here again. If they think i'm buying it for 40% off years later they can think again!

I just realized that even though Skyrim went on sale for 75% off multiple times, and Skyrim Legendary went as low as 66% off, Morrowind and Oblivion never went below 50% off. I hate you Bethesda.

So many of these are tempting, but I have a mom/pop store I can use my credit to pick up an SNES copy of Chrono Trigger or buy copies of Watch Dogs to flip to Best Buy for Steam cards.

Steam games will only get cheaper in the future...however Chrono Trigger will not.

Ah well I can pick up quite a bit of gaming on the cheap on Steam for around $20. Lots of stuff I don't have yet such as the Batman games, Borderlands 2, Far Cry 3, or The Witcher 2.

The gunplay just felt off for me too when I tried it during the free weekend - I'm not quite sure what, but it seemed to just lacks impact?

And when I thought I could just get thru just on the strategic side of things by doing a nice covert heist, nope, the left-4-dead type spawns of the bravest cops anywhere + skills that allowed alternative gameplay (i.e. stealth option) being on the later tiers of the skill trees made that impossible and you'll pretty much have to go in guns blazing for most of the game.

 
Would anyone actually recommend playing Arkham Origins first (I know it's an origins game but seems to disappoint many fans)? I haven't played any in the series and will likely start playing one soon. I have the rest not Origins BTW.

As much as I hate it and think it's a slap in the face to their loyal customers I think that we need to just assume Bethesda's going to run shit sales on their DLC and not buy their stuff going forward unless it's in a pack with all the DLC marked down cheap. On the plus side, they have a reputation for being buggy (although in the days of Early Access and Greenlight that's more the norm anyhow) so it gives them time to get their shit together.

You know, one time we had a wishlist discounted, for 12 days. When it was all over, I walked up. We didn't find one of 'em, not one stinkin' decent discount. The smell, you know that Nerd Rage smell, the whole hill. Smelled like . . . disappoint. Someday this sale's gonna end.

If you are talking like a Franchise Pack (Far Cry Franchise) or a GOTY (Like Skyrim) no, I think you just send the entire gift to them. I bought my friend Skyrim Legendary and I didn't have the option to choose to just send him the base game, or the DLC, it was just one big gift to him. If you mean a 4-pack, then yeah the 4 gifts should go to your inventory.

If this didn't help at all, then don't mind me, I'm still a newbie that really is just talking to talk lol.

I'm hoping the Tex Murphy set goes down, especially the latest Tesla Effect game.

Jamestown or the deluxe pack stayed at 25% off.

The only three games I'm debating are "Metro 2033" (because the redux version is coming out soon) and "Rising Storm GOTY".

Also, debated of getting "Total War: Rome II"...but surprised to see the 94% negative rating.

If you are talking like a Franchise Pack (Far Cry Franchise) or a GOTY (Like Skyrim) no, I think you just send the entire gift to them. I bought my friend Skyrim Legendary and I didn't have the option to choose to just send him the base game, or the DLC, it was just one big gift to him. If you mean a 4-pack, then yeah the 4 gifts should go to your inventory.

If this didn't help at all, then don't mind me, I'm still a newbie that really is just talking to talk lol.

I haven't played Stanley Parable but I played The Wolf Among Us on PS3 and I can say as someone who never read the Fables comics that it is a damn fun game and I really, really enjoyed it. 4 episodes are already out and the last should be out in the next month or two.

And when I thought I could just get thru just on the strategic side of things by doing a nice covert heist, nope, the left-4-dead type spawns of the bravest cops anywhere + skills that allowed alternative gameplay (i.e. stealth option) being on the later tiers of the skill trees made that impossible and you'll pretty much have to go in guns blazing for most of the game.

That is my biggest complaint of the game. It just doesn't feel legitimate. I try and try to do stealth, but unless you have awesome tech it's going to be a real struggle and you might as well just go full-Rambo. I got it free with my AMD video card, and I don't regret choosing it. It's fun from time to time, but not something I can see myself logging 100s of hours into.

Truth. I am interested in the story of Wolf Among Us, guess just keep CAG'in it up. I just don't follow trends much these days.

If you like online MP WW2 games you won't find any better than Rising Storm and $5 matches it's cheapest price outside of the BTA in a past Humble Bundle
