I think it's the personalities of the editors that keeps me away. I feel like some of them have been around so long they end up coming off as jaded. But I hear ya.

Wendy's is good, I like their cheesy cheddarburger which they took off the menu but still make whenever I order it. It's only $1.29. Carl's Jr has good burgers too.

Pickles suck but I heard they help in the digestion of red meat so now I take them off my burger and eat them before the goodness. Also for some reason ruffled or rippled pickles or whatever are better than plain flat cucumber looking pickles.

Who knows it's probably bullshit and I'm eating shitty pickles for no reason.

Ah, I also forgot about Carl's Jr. Haven't visited them for a while, I usually only go with my Brother, Sister and Father when it's a Sports game. Up in either Salt Lake City or down in Orem or the local University in Utah County. I'm not a fan of how they only microwave their bacon though before they put it on a burger or their tacos.

 
This is random but I saw the 2 brothers from Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons in the supermarket today. It was weird.

 
For me it's all about the Five Guys and Freddy's steak burgers....

I do love Red Robin though!  The A1 burger is the bomb and I lather the burger with the Seasoning, same with the fries... and I have to have ranch with the fries.  Not sure if other Red Robbins do this but Colorado ones always bring Ranch without even asking with every basket of fries.

 
you guys are assholes. it's my day off, trying to relax with some games, store day isn't until tomorrow, and you guys are posting pictures of all this amazing food. meanwhile my choices are hot dogs, ramen, or alfredo pasta.

 
I'm surprised at all the love for fast food or chain burgers, there are so many more local places by me I'd rather get a burger from.

Bacon at any fast food place is a bad idea. It's always that flimsy salty microwaved crap. And you have two universities in Utah county now.

Some local places are good... but honestly some chains are just way too good... Five Guys and In and Out being the biggest!

Yeah five guys is pretty good. As good as the fries are there (and like most fast food places) they are too salty. Smashburger is pretty good too.

 
I eat wherever the food tastes good. Doesn't matter if it's a chain, a local place, or homemade.

It would also figure that the most I've ever really posted at once is an off topic discussion about food...

this place has best burgers in state of florida there served at old gas station food criticis and food network guy diners drive ins and dives has raved heck out them.

i live here in htis city i get 3 burgers there week there so juicy and perfect my god u want real burger go here..

BTW I read somewhere a while ago that part of what makes Five Guys burgers so good is the MAYO.  The Mayo is one of the highest fat content on the market.  Its basically lard.  Is that appetizing to anyone else besides my fat ass?

There's a few good local places around here, but fast food is just so much easier and cheaper.

I actually like Wendy's Applewood-Smoked Bacon. Because they at least take the time to make it crispy. It's still flimsy and raw looking when it comes from Carl's Jr though. For my Steaks, I enjoy Sizzle and A1 Steak Sauce. And for my Taco's/Burritos there's always Del Taco and Taco Time. I do enjoy Taco Bell from time to time but I realize it's for convenience. They do make make some good stuff though.

I only know about BYU and UVU when it comes to universities down here. Unless, there's a secret one that only you know of. :whistle2:

I could eat hot dogs every day of the week.

Chili/cheese, or one slice of American cheese.

I don't do mayo, ketchup, mustard, any combination of those things. Can't stand vinegar, salad dressings, etc. I always get made fun of because I'm the one who does not care for any condiments.

I like BBQ sauce as long as it's on chicken, and grilled, and not too much. In most cases it isn't the taste that turns me off, but the wetness (heh...)

Because they're a group of guys that have been working together for over a decade now and are basically a family at this point, as they took Jeff's firing from GameSpot as a reason to show their allegiance to their brother and leave to do something else than to keep working there for the paycheck. 1up was the only other place I can think of that was like what those guys had and you had people leaving for more lucrative jobs or staying with the sinking ship, so now most of those guys are no longer around to do anything close to what made them beloved figures by their fans. The GameSpot guys were also some of the first online press people to put their personalities into their work with podcasts, videos, blogs, and all the other weird stuff they did outside of reviews, previews, and all that.

yeah, i usually do just a slice of cheese now. the old me would dump a can of chili on them almost daily. hot dogs are my lazy food though. which has been pretty much the entire last week.

That sounds like way too much chili. A hot dog place opened down the road from me, so sometimes I'll visit there on a Friday. Only now if it's been a "good week" though.

nah, it wasn't the regular size cans you're probably thinking of. they're like 6oz, iirc. kind of like the tiny cans of pork and beans with the pop top lid. we have sonic here, used to go there a couple times a month for their foot long chili cheese dogs. haven't had one in well over a year though.

 
Castleberry's hot dog chili sauce with onions is great. Love that stuff.

Also, if you don't mind McDonald's, the $1 BBQ ranch burgers are decent.
