plus slidecage has been redeeming himself lately. i mean, he's still 90% incoherent but he's actually gotten me to like a few of his posts.

damn it, this is just as bad as when gaf tried to kill the vita thread. mods sometimes forget the importance of community in forums.

I have 50 ppp set, and there is 20 pages there in like 3 days. So I'd say people are posting there now pretty much.

Yeah, sorry. Your post count (12) fell right around where my cutoff line was, and you're name didn't immediately pop out to me. Though I vaguely recalled you having a Bears logo as your avatar (so looks like I was correct) so maybe that was the subconscious reason I decided to omit you.

Anyways, come join the thread. Unless you'd actually consider eating limeade Oreos. ACK! :puke:

I do miss the boys not posting here anymore.  But what I don't miss is having to go through 20 pages or so of frivolous bantering before I come across an actual new post about gaming.  I may be the only here feeling that way, though.

anyone else still play no heroes allowed? supposed to be an event that started on the 4th, but i still haven't seen it on my map yet. i know the last one took an extra day to pop up.

They were just discussing their daily routines with sports, mayo and such. The mod came and just asked that they kept the discussion to gaming topic, but they were free to continue posting over at the appropriate forum, which they obliged.

 
They basically just recreated this thread and put ìt in a forum where it wouldn't be scrutinized and people wouldn't cry to the mods about it.

I miss it too but like Investor mentioned, it just moves way too fast. I didn't mind the discussions at all, but by the time I caught up I was 5-10 pages behind and whatever topic I might have commented on was long dead.

I've been lurking the other thread but haven't committed to trying to keep up because apparently I'm a lot busier than the bulk of those guys. Always entertaining though.

I still play, and was looking for a new event. I managed to get a new (to me) monster in the last one. I'll see if I see anything tonight and post back.

Nobody cried to the mods. A mod that visits this thread regularly saw lots of discussions of grills and such and asked them to take it elsewhere.

 
Apparently it started the 4th and goes to the 9th. To join it, you need to sign in to PSN before you go in to NHA. I went in the store, then launched NHA. Had to back out and in before it showed up.
 
Anyone know if that game (Vita I think) that was a RPG but you only had like seconds to kill the end boss was ever on sale?

I'd check it but I don't know the name. It's not No More Heroes but maybe something like that.

 
Just figured it out.  It was Half Minute Hero on PSP.

They should give us that for free.  $10 is too much but the store says it works on Vita.

yeah, that green monster with the paralyzing skill was nice to pick up. that's why i was waiting for this event. i don't have much luck in the mines, and i'm still stuck on 8-8.

I know in this case that's what happened, thus my "scrutinized" comment. I just know that in the past the "crying to the mods" occurred.

I wonder how quickly Sony can throw a sale together? Not that they would ever do anything in response to MS, but in all seriousness, I wonder what goes on behind the scenes. I'm assuming they can put first party stuff on sale pretty quick.

Has the process ever been explained in detail anywhere before?

Not much outside of those owning the content will submit paperwork/emails to put their stuff on sale, but nothing about major sales.
