Plat Murdered: Soul Suspect. Kinda fuckin' annoying having to watch youtube videos for about the same length that I spent playing the game since it's all a bunch of collectibles. Also, I had to start skipping cutscenes at the end because I started playing way too late and wasn't sure if I was gonna return it on time. I had 10 minutes to spare.

I imagine this is what it's like to have divorced parents. Now ask yourselves - who is the true victim in all of this?

If you're playing Terraria I can give you ore and equipment if you want/need it. The bosses are definitely a PITA (one in particular is really bad) but very much beatable with the right armor.

Well I see tyler furiously backpedaling but not actually admitting I was right, even though he's dismissing their style as not having impressed him one bit.  That sounds awful familiar, almost like somebody has been saying since the group stage that they have not looked like a top team even if they have top caliber talent...

This is what it's like to have divorced parents and the kids all want to go live with Dad. Poor Mom.

For any other crazy late night people I'm currently working on compiling the cheese roster for MLB 14 trophy farming and will be streaming that in a bit for anyone that's interested.

Well I just finished watching today's match. Was tyler man enough to have admitted I was right?
You definitely weren't right at all. Their defense was on point all night, they took Argentina to penalties for Christ sake.

They are up to compete with anyone in the world, not like they were outclassed in any way by Argentina. I just don't like cheering for teams that are afraid to show any signs of aggression. I never felt like Argentina or Netherlands ever expressed a desire to actually score a goal. Neither team really "deserved" to win, but I guess Argentina didn't deserve it less.

Finally beat Steamworld Dig.  Pretty good stuff, dragged a little in the middle but some of the upgrades in the last world made the end go by faster.

Reminded me a whole lot of Super Motherload with small puzzle/platform sections laced within them  No regrets for that $5 purchase, maybe I'll play it again on Vita someday.

Not if you don't respond when they talk to you. :nottalking:
I don't know what you're talking about. Last two nights I was talking and responded to the like one thing in chat last night.

Argentina wasn't particularly impressive either, though they were pretty dominant for most of the first half, but the Dutch luck finally ran out and without those breaks/flops they weren't able to beat a team on equal footing.

I have tons of stuff that was generously donated to me, so I think I have the right stuff. I'm just not using it effectively or in the right ways. I'll just have to put a bit of research into it before I try the bosses next time. I'm on hard mode, trying to beat the 3 required for the trophies.

Gotta figure out what to play next.  My Vita has been bit neglected so I need to play something on that.  Probably something big, so it'll probably end up being Golden Abyss.

Great choice. Loved the game and the graphics are amazing. Not sure if you've played Killzone yet. If not, then this will be the best looking game you've played on it I would submit.

I forget the guys name who mentioned Watch Dogs act 2 before when I was talking about it ( although I have talked to him plenty of times in the past I should know it by now :whistle2:\ ) and I just have to say it
it really drags on too much. 15 parts or missions or whatever,  I am just ready to get out of it. It is like one of those books that is 200-300 pages but has a 90 page chapter (looking at you Party Monster / Disco Bloodbath) it just seems never ending and really takes some wind out of the sails. I was hoping to finish act 2 tonight, but don't have it in me. Oh yeah, I'll probably mention this later in my wrap up overall feeling of the game, but does every mission following the mission you complete have to be on the complete other side of the fucking map? I mean occasionally sure, but god dammit.

Not me, and I didn't do a damn thing so I feel fine. We did what was asked of us (even though other threads are apparently exempt from such requests) and people still want to bitch? "Oh, I didn't want you guys to leave, I just wanted you to shut the fuck up."

And sorry, I'm not trying to direct this at you breakfuss (although I could do without that "victim" bullshit; people who miss us know where to find us), but it's a slap in the face for people to fucking complain just because we're not what they want us to be.

Maybe someday I'll go over there and catch up on the 50 posts I've missed since I left so I know exactly who's ass to stick a virtual boot up the next time they want to come over here and party with the fun crowd.

Almost forgot to tell you guys...

Remember my son said he wanted to keep LBP Karting on Normal instead Casual because he wanted it to be challenge?

He came in first place for the first time last night.  Talk about cloud 9... that boy was grinning ear to ear for the rest of the night.

Started Stranger's Wrath last night. Not a huge fan of the controls. Jumping is super awkward; it's slow, floaty, and feels extremely under-powered. The style feels patterned off Jak & Daxter, but completely flubbed in comparison since J&D is quick and tight. The switch from 1st to 3rd is a bit weird, but interesting. OTOH shooting critters is annoying as hell because they're so damn hard to hit. They shouldn't be, but they are. It's off-putting because when I have a charged zapper and shoot at a critter, the zapper hits the ground right next to the critter and throws sparks everywhere; it feels like the sparks should have some kind of AOE effect, but they don't.

The game looks good enough, and the combat I think will be decent once I get more used to the controls, but it's not grabbing me as immediately as I would have hoped. It's clearly a tier below J&D, which is the most obvious 3D fighting/platforming comparison I can think of.

so, this may sound crazy, but i swear on the front page all the posts were from 2004 and 2005. a couple were from 2011. the only one i actually went to before it righted itself was a guy that bought a refurbished psp for $225 from some website called dumpinggoods.com or something. it was posted by sausageman fan. it was weird because im reading through this thread and im thinking wtf is wrong with these people. i didnt realize it was from 2005 until i saw a conversation from 2013 where somebody bumped it when they saw it on the front page. another thread was for disgaea hour of darkness for $35, but that deal was dead.

It's not clear from your wording, but are you waiting for the zapper to charge before each shot at the critters? They're unlimited, so just rapid fire them at the critters you're trying to catch. Literally takes seconds to gather the ammo you need.

I'll admit the controls are a tad floaty, but they don't take long to get used too. Stick with it, it's a great game.

I had a hard time dealing with this game for those same reasons - I have every intention of coming back to it someday (especially since a number of people here love it), but my first impression was pretty awful.

Do you think it would play/fit better on Vita? It looked that way to me from your stream.

Gotta figure out what to play next. My Vita has been bit neglected so I need to play something on that. Probably something big, so it'll probably end up being Golden Abyss.
Let us know what you think of it. Personally, I didn't have any regrets getting rid of my physical copy after I got the plat, and I still own the other Uncharteds despite having their plats. Golden Abyss just seemed a bit more annoying than the others, especially on Crushing.

How many games have you said this about now? I am pretty sure you will die before you get back to any of these games.

I'm almost certain that if I add up the hours needed to complete my PS+ backlog it exceeds the number of free hours I'll have before I die. So yeah, you're probably right.
