How difficult is Uncharted: Golden Abyss on hard difficulty? Am I going to be pulling my hair out all game since the Vita isn't exactly great at precision aiming?

Are you planning on going for the MP for AC Brotherhood?[/quote]
I'm almost done with the story on here and looking to get in to the multiplayer sometime soon.

You record a video for me of you getting two players to hit for the cycle, 4 H 4 RBI 4 R on another, 2 HR 5 RBI on another, a 2B and a 3B on another in one 9 inning game and then tell me truthfully how many games it took to get that all to align. I was done with everything but one triple around 20 but still had to wait for the ball to actually get to the right spot even with maxed out speed and zeroed out opponents.
Well, first you're playing on the wrong field. If you're going for the trophies and just looking to farm them as easy as possible, you want to at least pick the right field to play on. One of the old time stadiums has a huge outfield that pretty much guarantees an inside the park home run if you hit it out there. With that, you can just stop at whatever base you need for your cycle players, or run home for those that you need home runs for. Adjust your lineup so hurst someone like Altuve who needs stolen bases is in front of someone who needs RBIs. Have him get to first, steal second and third, and then drive him in. The only trophies that took multiple games were the pitching ones where a certain pitcher might have to get the win. Obviously only one win can be awarded each game.

The Cabrera trophy was the hardest one, and even that only took a couple resets to nail down. Get him to 3 HRs, and then sub him out.

Rookie.

The stadium you mention isn't available on the PS4 or Vita Version. Guess which version Eldritch is playing?

Noob.

If you guys are planning to go for the plat, you might want to find another 4 people. Stun locking is just about the only way to speed up the grind to level 50 and it requires 2 groups of 3. Then you get the joy of going for AEOTM on top of that.
I'm likely in on that as well, and 2 more hopefuls/maybes, so we're getting there :)

The only thing I hated about Golden Abyss was the touch controls for those 4200 piece (exaggeration) puzzles. I actually didn't mind the aiming, I thought it was well done with the gyroscope but I can see how it can be frustrating. The other thing I disliked was the 'arrow' mechanic. I was hoping for something like Fruit Ninja and how you can swipe all over the place. Other than that, I actually enjoyed UC GA very much and I was surprised that it wasn't made by Naughty Dog. All I know is, I enjoyed it far more than I did UC 3 when it came to story. They've all been competent titles that are playable, but it feels like they've improved and/or had some odd design decisions in the later games.

I haven't had any problems with the motion controls when it comes to Golden Abyss though. Only the touch controls when it comes to the arrows and puzzles because what's the point of figuring out a puzzle when Drake only comments on it for like 30 seconds? I at least liked the way you opened up combination locks with the touch controls of the Vita. I can't comment on any of the other difficulty settings in the game but that's just my experience with the game take it as you will.

It was just annoying when you're walking across a beam and he has to stop and balance with the motion control. Not hard..just annoying

Ah, I forgot about those. I could actually have done without them. But it's like you said, not hard... just annoying. It's a Vita launch title though, isn't it? I think controls like that should be expected especially with the "new tech".

I'm not too concerned about grinding out the lvl 50..that'll come in time. I just want to focus on aeotm and other miscellaneous trophies.

I've been trying to find a reason to post this all day, but nothing fitting has come up. I'll just say it's my preemptive sports commentary:

i'm always down for boosting. but I am horrible at being busy or playing other games or not being a good booster if I have to change diapers/screaming kids/tripped out, etc. I have been meaning to help RPG with Fuse forever... but yeah down with anything.

What are prerequisites on that Gator? I assume you'd probably have to be at least a certain level to get all bonuses? Edit: yeah I looked it up, looks like level 29...doesnt seem too bad though

Look one of us up man, I'm sure we'll be playing tonight/soon. I was gonna ask you about NFS first but I figured you to be busy doing ^^^all that stuff lol, and you were pretty into Last of Us right now.

I am not sure what level, but yeah you cant even attempt AEOTM until you all get up to a certain point to get things like poisons and such.

Good luck to all you guys going for it. Where the hell were you all when I was looking for people to help? :)

If we are boosting and you need a break I understand. That's just Velos life.

Level 29, looked it up. I think grinding to level 50 will be the worst part. And I have no idea what I was doing with my life prior to hunting for trophies lol.

If you can avoid having a mouth breather or two to deal with like I unfortunately did, you should be able to get to level 50 for everyone in 7-8 hours if you follow the guide that is in the first post of the ps3t boosting thread.

For your own sanity, if one of the group starts "killing because it is more fun" look for someone else to replace them, lol.

It honestly looks like the Role Model trophy may be the hardest one really. I'm assuming AEOTM is cumulative the way it reads, while Role Model is all in one session.

Nahh, there are only a handful of co-op bonuses and there are multiple rounds. That one isnt bad and if you dont get it, easily retried.

There is nothing to keep track of what bonuses you got for AEOTM unless you do it by hand yourself. That can be hard to do. 50% more people have role model than AEOTM.

Gotcha. I'll have to remember to write them down as I go then. Thanks for your help man, always appreciated. I'm sure you've already played almost everything lol, but would love to play with you sometime if we find we're playing the same thing.

Dont try to write them down. Hopefully the link on this page still works. It has a check list for all the bonuses.

Pro-tip: have mics, call out the ones you are getting as you get them. Have another player that isn't currently going for the bonuses keep track of them for you so your eyes dont go off the screen. Also, do the co-op ones first so you know you can mark those off without worrying about it when you get the trophy.

Intercepted was the hardest one for me to get to come up. I do not think it worked if you killed quickly after the poisoning.

I tend to try and avoid as many games with MP as possible, but it seems like I have quite a few on the PS4 already. Due to my team mates from the trophy competitions I tend to always have a go to group of people to work through online games with, but I am sure we can find something to play at some point.

You never got the online Brotherhood trophies did you? Join us later, Ratchet will be there when you get back.
I had it on disc and sold or traded that game in long ago. Otherwise I would. Ill keep looking to see what you guys are playing and if I have them or can buy them cheap ill join.

How far are you? I'm doing some arena in chapter 15 right now. 21.40% done! Almost...no, not even close to done.
I saw both you guys playing RoF and that arena sounds crazy. Only 21.40% done ouch, damn Simmias is a beast for finishing that plat. It looks like that'll take some time but keep at it you'll get to the end eventually.

It's just really grindy. The part that sucks is the lower arena battles are super easy because they're all enemies from the first couple chapters. So that makes it a little boring. I'm sure the higher levels will provide a challenge.

Congratulations, Vag. :D/

Did u get World Red??
Like I said before, I'm getting the Vita version, which isn't at Gamestop until Tuesday. I did find a way around the ad-hoc trophy, though--since the PS3/Vita versions have cross-save, I'll pick up the PS3 version sometime down the road (whether through my library if they get it or Gamestop once used copies start popping up), do a quick multiplayer mission with my brother, and return it. I'll get everything else on the Vita version.

Yeah it sounds super grindy. Some grinding doesn't bother me but sometimes it can get ridiculous with RPGs.
