  • You cannot currently buy any Xbox 360 content on xbox.com using your account balance, you can only use an active credit card or PayPal. To use your balance, you must make purchases on your console.  Unfortunately, even "purchasing" free content through the web site like trials requires an alternative method of payment tied to your account, though adding an empty MasterCard / Visa gift card that is registered for online purchases will work.  Xbox One games can be purchased on the web site with your account balance, but DLC cannot.

At about what time do the previous days sales end? I think I'm gonna bite on Garden Warfare but I'm not sure I'm gonna be able to buy it until morning

 
for oblivion, do you have to play through the whole campaign before starting shivering isles? or maybe based on skill like everything in the shivering isles will kick your ass if you're low level?

years ago i got 1200/1250 for oblivion with only the last shivering isles achievment left, not interested in grinding for days in the campaign just to get to the expansion pack though.

Well yeah but do you really expect them to put it on sale by itself iff it was basically in a bundle on the first day? If that was the case I think they would have just done that when the second and third games were just on sale themselves.

 
Well it only took 11 hours but AC III is finally fun to play.  Such a shame because there is a lot to like about the game but the beginning must have been a huge wall that caused a lot of people to quit.  Side note. If AC IV ship battle are even better than the little I have played on AC III then I cannot wait to play it.

 
Okay unrelated yet maybe related.....I finished Alan Wake American Nightmare and it pales in comparison to the original Alan Wake. If American Nightmare goes on sale skip it. If the original does, grab it because it was awesome. For tonight I am hoping for and Alice sale at $5, and a Lollypop Chainsaw sale at $5.

 
has been said before, but Lollipop chainsaw isnt even on the marketplace. almost no evidence of the game exists on the XBMarketplace servers... weird

Haven't played III - the last AC I played was 1 and I stopped because I got tired of the same missions over and over and over... ACIV is amazing. The ship battles are kick ass. The towns are cool. Probably one of the better games I've played on 360.

Side note - I still can't do assassin missions for shit. I always get sighted or killed... I just don't get it...

Does everyone agree with this? I played trials of 1,2, and Brotherhood and the first game is the only one where I was bored. The only reason I decided to try it again is because Ass Creed 2 was a previous GwG.

I was under the impression that everything after the first game was good.

No I would put the order at 2/4, Brotherhoods/Revelations, 1, 3 personally.

2 changed the series so much and capitalized on the ideas that 1 teased everyone with and then 4 revitalized the series.

I loved the first game, but I play games for story and deal with bad gameplay mechanics, because I grew up playing NES and Genesis. When games were hard and had shitty controls.. All of them.

All the games felt similar with each game having slight improvements until 4. The fourth game was amazing. I barely played the last couple games before 4 though and I didn't like them, so if you are a fan of the series my input isn't helpful. I already pre-ordered Unity thanks to it having co-op and how great 4 was.

For me, best to worst is 2, 3, Brotherhood, Revelations, 4, 1

4 is a better game than 1, but a much worse AC game. Haven't finished Liberation yet.

 
Asscreed 1 was OK, but repetitious.  I got bored and quit before reaching the end.  Asscreed 2 was very good, played to 100% and was disappointed it was over.  Brotherhood was good also, but I felt I didn't get the whole experience because I only played single player.  Revelations sucked.  I tried playing it 3 different times and quit with the first our each time.  Since everyone said how bad 3 was, and after my experience with AC:R, I avoided 3 like the plague.  Looking forward to 4, though...when it's cheap enough for me.

 
The boat stuff became too much for me about Assassin's Creed 4 that I still haven't finished it.  I put it back on the shelf because I became bored.  Forcing me to build up the boat was a terrible idea for a game.  At least 3 I finished since it picked up midway through and didn't force the boating stuff.

Honestly haven't noticed any difference from GoD version to retail copy. Plays fine for me.

And granted as well, I only finished half the series. Didn't finish Revelations or 3, haven't played Black Flag.

I didn't play AC1, as people panned it for being a tech demo. Nor did I play AC3, as many people said it sucked. Otherwise I would rate them from best to worst as such:

Black Flag is a good/great pirate/ship-battle "simulator", but a pretty crappy assassinating/AssassinsCreed game.

No I'm talking about some keyhole picture that is on the 360 dashboard that shows a tiny tease picture of game that's on sale for the next day.

Lol Ubi just can't catch a break. Ppl were all for boats in 3 and 4 is all abt boats and some still aren't satisfied. I'm not making fun of you though since I haven't played it and don't know if it's gimmicky or just not well paced.

I'm waiting for assassins creed prehistoric. Assassinating intelligent Jurassic dinosaur lords as cavemen. Hidden bone shiv. Yes.
 
Damn... Got 2 codes from the GS giveaway today and won the M&Ms promo 2 times tonight... If it hadn't been for almost burning my car up today when the caliper stuck going to a job, it would have been a pretty good day...

If I get to assassinate a T-Rex, I'm all in! I'm sure Ubi will figure out how to work in the pirate ships too....

When I play the 6th game in a series, I have certain expectations. Like for me, I would have liked 70% Assassins Creed, 30% YAAAAAARRRRRR! Instead I got the reverse. I think there were some interesting carrots dangled as to how the Assassins/Pirates are linked but the Assassins plotline in IV was really pretty bad and/or underdeveloped.

Also, Edward Kenway didn't really float my boat as a main character.....

To each their own.....YAAAAARRRRRRRR!!!!!

This is true, it felt WAY more like a pirate game than an assassins creed game. But I liked it, and so did a lot of others which is kinda weird, like we're liking it for the wrong reasons!
 
For anyone downloading GTAV, keep in mind the total download is almost 16gb. You install the initial 6 or 7 gb and once you start the game up you're prompted to dl the rest.

For those tight on space this might be an issue.
