  • You cannot currently buy any Xbox 360 content on xbox.com using your account balance, you can only use an active credit card or PayPal. To use your balance, you must make purchases on your console.  Unfortunately, even "purchasing" free content through the web site like trials requires an alternative method of payment tied to your account, though adding an empty MasterCard / Visa gift card that is registered for online purchases will work.  Xbox One games can be purchased on the web site with your account balance, but DLC cannot.

Random Question: Does anyone know what is the maximum space for an external hard drive to be attached to the Xbox One? I've seen people attach a 4TB hdd, but wondering if there is a cap?

 
Perhaps this XBox credit was a good idea for MS.  I have two 360s in my house and neither has been hooked up in over a year.  Now I have credit to get a game.  I have been considering Torchlight.  Does it have couch co-op?  Also what is the likelihood of a sale on it?  Any other ideas for downloadable games which are exclusive (PS3 has gotten all the attention lately).

 
I got mine (just one code) about 3 minutes in with zero issues.  I guess I got pretty lucky.  It's sad that people are trashing Gamestop for trying to give something away.  But that's our society now.

Gamestop is getting hammered on Twitter and now some guy by the name of Tyler is being accused (wrongfully or correctly, I don't know) of using a bot and crashing the servers.

 
For anyone who has play/completed Fallout:NV, does it differentiate much from Fallout 3?  I know the same core gameplay is there, but is there much improvement outside of new story and location?

Other then being more glitchy and buggy not really to much different other then the obvious like different weapons and locations and hardcore mode

still as addictive as fallout 3 though but still pretty glitchy and buggy

Off the top of my head when I played last year...the game froze a ton, fall through the levels, alot of things like that. BUT in one of the missions I couldn't complete because the game would not load the next portion of the mission so was waiting for an assassin to show up, but it never did and only way to get out of that mission was to do the other karma route meaning kill everyone and so I did just to get out of that mission since it left me no choice. So really just save, alot.

The only game breaking glitch i ever had was when you load the game and it just stays on the loading screen,it doesnt freeze cause the loading screen keeps changing images but it just stays there,another one is just when it randomly freezes during the game,no reason nuthing specific just randomly freezes
and just random glitches with textures not loading fast enough and stuff

I know that all sucks but i still feeel its a great game espeically at that price

All the buggy stuff isnt like everytime you play but it does happen

Deus Ex. I'm all for games where you can tranquilize someone and then they pass out, in which you proceed to go up to the unconscious body and shoot them square in the face.

 
I'm torn on Banjo Kazooie bundle.  I never played them as a kid, somehow I just didn't pick them up for my 64.  I have $15 from the Xbox Gamestop promo the last couple of weeks, but I have an Xbox One now and rarely play my 360.  Someone convince me to do it.

Wait for next week's Xbox One sale before deciding (if the bundle stays around that long).
 
Gamestop ordeal seems to have been straightened out as I got a code about 10-15 minutes ago. Early downtime may account for it still running strong this late.

But it's not exactly free money. They're getting access to your data, assuming you're using your real Facebook account, plus lots of traffic to their site. If you think the product is free, you are the product.

EDIT: I think the game on sale will be LocoCycle for $7 or $5.

What's up with all the overall 100 teams in FIFA14 Ultimate Team? I'm getting destroyed online. The only match that was close to my overall scored a goal then disconnected right away and the game gave him the win.

Been waiting for a sale on Torchlight for some years now. So the likehood of a sale on it is pretty slim, but MS could surprise us (it would be a very welcomed surprise, I must say).

Also just played a little PvZ:GW on lunch. Still a great game, but good grief...there are so many freaking screaming/whining/annoying kids with mics in the game. I have to mute everyone immediately.

yes, $5.70 is what they added to your account. You can cash out anytime as long as your points are over 1000. They'll deposit at the next deposit date

Isn't the same thing happening in CoD games these days: "screaming/whining/annoying kids" playing nazi zombies. Kids and zombies go together. I guess grownups have to play on intelligent plant's side in Garden Warfare.
