I used these:

I think I eventually had Vashyron with the crazy good golden MG, Leanne duel-wielding normal MGs, and Zephyr with duel-wielded golden HGs.

There are two acceleration stats for each gun. The first one controls how fast the your gun accelerates depending on distance from the enemy. The second one controls how fast the gun accelerates after the first acceleration. So when you duel wield, you want one gun that's got a crazy good first acceleration stat, and one that has a good second one, because when you duel wield they average out. I think Leanne had accelerations in the 90s after they averaged, Zephyr too. Whoever has the golden MG don't even worry about it because it's OP.
this game is totally out of my league, isn't it.

I don't know if anyone else will appreciate that, but I consider you a fuck ing champ.
I maaaaaay just boost that gold trophy for getting 100 wins. Pretty sure I'm over 50 at least. There's no way I'm going for the titles. Apparently that requires 506 wins.

That's a lot of work for a gold trophy. Just get Terminator Salvation and finish it on hard for 12 golds and a plat (if you haven't already.)

Let me see if I can make this make sense.

1. I went to Store.sonyentertainmentnetwork.com
2. Selected All PS3 Games
3. On the left side I selected PS3 Full Games, PSN Games, PS Vita Games (Although I don't think Vita games ended up showing up.)

I went through all 35 pages and discovered that except for 2 pages (29 and 35) I own at least 1 game on each page. On page 29 I own the hard copy of Tales of Xillia and page 35 is two Zuma's games that I will probably never own. I never knew I owned that many games. Oh yeah on page 29 the Ico / SotC isn't coming up as purchased but I own both games.

for those that did watch for a few minutes, was the quality ok? i still have my ps4 on wireless.

edit: also, does my voice have the extra lag too? like if something happens on my screen, and i respond, does my response get broadcast immediately?
The video was pretty pixelated at times, and of course really bad before it dropped. The audio was pretty low. It did not sound as clear as Tyler's did.

Yes, on the lag, but that is expected.

Yo Velo, do what Simmias said on those Demolition Walkers. I put a MG right in front of their face, and then scratched the first piece of armor. Then blast off with the HG. Then same MG, blast in the face again to scratch the bazooka and take it out with the HG. Took me about 25 minutes to get the 3 bazookas I need.

thanks for that, guess it wasn't just my friend's connection last night when i was setting things up. it showed up on my laptop perfectly, but i figured something was up when everyone left fairly quickly. i'm not gonna bother streaming anymore until i get my ps4 wired into my router.

i figured that was the case. just wanted to make sure.

Dell is running a nice little promotion on a PS4 bundle for those interested. Includes Infamous: Second Son, 3 months of plus and a $100 gift card.

I had forgotten how boring I found Alan Wake to be.

Run around some poorly lit woods looking for random pieces of paper and thermoses (going to just skip trying to find everything, not going for 100% at all), cue scary music that lets you know enemies have spawn, shine light on enemy, shoot twice. Repeat x 100000.

Maybe I'll just skip ahead to American Nightmare.

At least the story is...um...well, it exists.

Braid makes my braid--I mean, brain--hurt. I'm missing a couple of puzzle pieces from each world I've done so far (just beat World 4).

Don't worry, Tyler, I don't plan on using a guide. :joystick:

I just watched some dude play Steamworld from start to finish in less than 30 minutes. That would leave almost two hours to collect 20k gold and 150 orbs.
Holy shit. That would still be a tedious two hours...but that's pretty impressive on the 30min bit. I think if I could do the 30min part, I could suffer through to get the trophy. Where'd you see this?

He's just finishing as fast as possible. But it shows that the base game can be cleared pretty quickly.

I actually enjoyed Alan Wake. However, I can see and understand Not Eric's complaints. I'm not the biggest fan of repetition myself, (I.E. El Shaddai). My only real complaint against Alan Wake would be it's exclusivity to the 360. I would have loved to have played it on my PS3, because then I could actually play the DLC. Instead of using a wired/mini router on my Arcade Xbox 360. If I ever get into the high-end PC gaming scene then that might be my other option.

Gravity Rush is another favorite. I can't wait until they release the sequel.

By the way, I just happened to play some CastleStorm on my Vita. Ended up getting at least 3 or 4 trophies. I think I have about 7 left to get on the base game. I've heard from tyler that it's not worth getting the DLC because it's more of the same. I actually happen to like games like these, but I don't think I'll be getting the DLC any time soon and completing the DLC after finishing the game.

@Stotch..Nice, I searched for speed runs when I started but I think the best I had seen was like 50 something minutes. I'm taking a break but I think I'm gonna go for that here soon. I just wish the game had an orb counter. I guess if you only bought necessary upgrades though, they'd be easy enough to track how many you spent/how many you have yourself.

Also, if one could get this down correctly, it should be easily repeatable...and double trophies!!! (not for you though)

Velocity Ultra Level 50 Perfect. I'm pulling my hair out! Anybody here able to do it? I feel like I've tried a hundred times.
Haha not Stotch.

I got it, I didn't think it was THAT bad. Probably took me an hour or a little over. I've definitely spent longer time on trophies before. But yeah it requires an absolutely perfect full speed run.

Haha, if you think Alan Wake is boring, skipping to American Nightmare isn't going to solve anything.

Nice man. Yeah don't get too tied up on any puzzles yet. Beat the game and go back to the ones that have stumped ya. If you get super super stuck somewhere, share here before looking up the answers. I'm always interested to see which Braid puzzles cause the most trouble.

Digging Uncharted way more than I thought I would.  First 3 chapters were really slow with tons of super easy Uncharted-style platforming, but totally picked up since then.  I'm getting the aiming down way better too.  So far no issues with playing on hard.  I'm on Chapter 10 now.

I actually like how they've tried to make the collectibles actually mean something rather than being just random shiny things that people don't care about at all except for trophies.

The collectibles in GA also unlock things in that Uncharted card game! Bonus!

Stotch is right about one of the biggest flaws with Alan Wake: that ham fisted, nonsense story. For a game about an author there sure is a lot of crap writing that hurts my desire to continue forward.

I also know, that if you reduce a game to its base components you can make any game sound boring, but there's just something about having to take the time to remove the shadows before you can actually shoot people that irritates me.

Abyss Odyssey looks pretty sweet, I hope it's cool.  I didn't realize it was ready to come out already.  I like hearing about games a few months before they come out.  (Looking at you Binding of Isaac PSN version)

Stotch you're gonna have to import to get your hands on one of these:

I wonder how Remedy's next game (Quantum Break) is going to be received. Probably, just like Heavy Rain, Beyond Two Souls and The Last of Us seem to be. Seen as either overrated and/or movie experiences. I don't mind those movie-like experiences having played Uncharted, but a game like Beyond Two Souls that has been shown to play by itself makes me wonder....  :whee:

I'd still go for the White PS4 over that Frozen one even though I like the movie. Why couldn't they have made that PS4 actually look frozen or white like the Destiny PS4? Would have made more sense to me.

So since there seem to be a lot of trophy boosts being organized lately, what do people think of doing Bioshock 2 MP? Basically, you'd need a good amount of people to get the trophies. 8 is ideal.

this thread moves so fast.   i only get to read like every 10th or 20th page, and half the time it's all white anyway.   At least those pages read fast.

Did anyone mention Skullgirls coming to PS4 and Vita?  Crossbuy seems rather doubtful but they'll probably have a cheap upgrade option available, though this is America where we seem to be randomly excluded on certain PSN deals like that.

Speaking of being excluded, sounds like the White PS4 will be sold without Destiny if people actually don't want that game and just want the console for $400.  But only confirmed for Europe for now.  Because America hates colors and options and cross-buy and upgrade discounts apparently.

I have the game and would be down. But..I've never played the game yet lol. But, to reiterate, I'd help if at all possible.

Read faster affa. I need to see my Oreo investment paying off.

I've already got Destiny reserved for the PS3. I do think that I missed my chance on playing the PS3 beta. It also doesn't help that I got a receipt that didn't exactly print correctly so it's like half there and half not. Does Destiny happen to be free to play by the way? I'd probably be better off getting it on PS4 but I don't see myself getting one any time soon. Mainly, because of the price and I'm also interested in the other systems when they happen to get games I want.

EDIT: Google gave me an answer regarding if it's free to play or not. I've probably still missed out on the beta on PS3 because of that dumb printing job on the receipt.

Might not get enough to boost, but I think I'm going to dedicate one night a week to playing. You and anyone else are free to join in.
