Did you find some rare game at a Best Buy across the country that you were able to hop on a flight and grab to trade to your local gamestop because the TIV was 50 cents more than you paid for it?
 
Keeping the case is the worst thing you can do ever, but if you swap a case loaded up with stickers and goo for a shiny new one and trade the awful one in it's perfectly acceptable.

And once again, you show why people dislike your argumentative ways. I state I believe they are corrupt due to accepting half a million dollars from a primary player in a competitive industry, and you reduce it to me not liking them because i'm a dude. Seriously, you're terrible.

Like, absolutely, positively, terrible. And the reason I told you to shut up about the topic is because over the past six months or so I was actually starting to really like your posts. You would think with the PS4 generation here games would be getting better looking all the time. I think games are starting to look worse and worse by the minute. I watched that Rogue Legacy video and despite hearing it's a great game I couldn't get over the sword being held out like that the whole time. I realize every game can't be beautiful but sometimes it just comes down to the little things. I realize there are also indies that look better than they have any business looking too but I'm ready for some mind-blowing graphics, get on it game makers.

Ok, this is the last time I will comment on this subject. It's clear that Breakfuss is either some kind of journalist, or has strong ties to one/many. I felt anything but respect from you toward myself and everyone else who joined the discussion. You seem to take it all extremely personally, and you are by far the most insulting and dismissive to everyone. I'm sorry I "chimed in hours later" to share my opinion. The one time I try to be part of a real discussion on this thread, this is what happens. I'm done.

Ok so I just got caught up on the blah blah blah Polygon blah blah blah IGN.  When it comes to gaming websites I just use them to get an idea if the game I'm interested is good enough for a purchase.

Breakfuss needs to smoke some weed and cut down the arguing.

I'll apologize for saying that since you didn't mention it at that very moment. You have, however, dismissed their coverage of gender/privilege before and so my frustration was a carryover from that exchange. You outright called it 'stupid' and I've held it (perhaps unfairly) against you. I'm not sure where you were coming from then but in my mind it raised a flag.

I absolutely believe a significant part of the the Polygon hate is due to their attempts to broach certain subjects. Whether you, specifically, are using things like a TLoU review as a guise to discredit them I cannot say. Doesn't make sense otherwise to isolate them from the rest of the press when they are no worse and in many ways better than other sites who don't get a fraction of the hate. But, again, you have not said so explicitly so have no right to assume that of you.

If you took the time to read how it went down yesterday you would see that I did not start it.

Can someone PLEASE tell me what this thread is "supposed" to contain. I constantly feel like an outsider because I don't care about trophy leaderboards, or soccer, but I really like and respect most of the people who post here, and a lot of the other topics that come up. It's just hard as fuck to keep up with this thread, and replying to things hours late seems to piss people off and/or be completely ignored. I dunno. Sorry for this "me me me" whining. I just don't know what I'm doing here to be honest.

I assumed this thread was all just randomness

I don't care about trophies and such but have always felt welcome, minus my initial visit to this thread where it was then explained to me that most here are fun loving assholes. Ever since then it's been dandy. :D

It isn't "supposed" to contain anything. That's the whole point. It's whatever you feel the want/need to contribute. That's what makes it great. People like different things man, that's how it is. It almost always comes back to PSN or game-related talk though.

I like the people here, that's why I keep up with it and will always call it home on CAG. If you don't know what you're doing here, maybe you're in the wrong place? You've been here long enough to know what goes on here and whether or not you want to stay.

Should prolly have known that would work, but I dont shop at gamestop a lot and have credit there from the bonus that had a bit ago that I couldnt pass on (got 40 bucks for MLB 14, only paid 48 and had since launch day)

less than 100 shows a year on average? lazy. unoriginal. would not recommend.

I was actually looking forward to reading polygon articles and seeing what all the (break)fuss is about, but it won't fucking load on mobile. I got through an article about dwarf fortress that was moderately interesting, but it seemed to have a 'know what this is' prerequisite that I didn't meet. how were two guys working on this land generation simulator with a game tacked on for 20 years? I dunno. if it starts working I'll write a review of all the articles.
