BTW, how hard is Maverick X for a MM game? I tried playing a bit the other night and it's annoyingly difficult. I remember beating one or two of the NES games as a kid, but nowadays enemies constantly spawning every time you move on the screen is an absolutely annoying mechanic. That and the limited lives then start over from scratch thing.  :wall:

I don't remember it being harder than any other MM game. I did however play it up to the last (Wily) stage on PSP and haven't gone back for some reason.

 
Also, when should I play GA in the whole Uncharted sequence? I realize it's a prequel but am not sure if the gameplay mechanics really progressed much with each subsequent release, or if playing GA gives more meaning/characterization to something that occurs in the PS3 games.

 
I guess getting the PS Now Beta for free is cool and all but I think I own or have beaten most of what I'd want to play on that list. It would really be better if the games we owned digitally were always free to play on PS Now so I could move over the PS3 backlog. Guessing it will change over time though. Hopefully no one rents at those weird prices.

Paper Mario (which I hated) and Prof. Layton Miracle Mask for 3DS are $9.99 at Gamestop. I used a coupon to get Layton for $5. I'll probably use it as a flip but good prices if anyone is looking.

It's 6PM. Some asshole is trying to tell me Fez is a good game again. I've had just about enough of this when Tom walks in. I never liked Tom.

"Hey man, did you get the report I sen-"
"Shut up, Tom!"

All the past annoyances at Tom and my job start rising to the surface. I can feel my pulse quickening.

"I don't know what you came in here for but I'm about to lose it so I'd suggest you leave if you want to go home in one piece."

Tom stood there, mouth agape, like his feeble brain couldn't comprehend the threat I'd just sent his way.

"All I needed was for you to sign off on this report, Tyler. I guess you've had a long day, but if you could just-"

And that's when I snapped. It all happened so fast I can scarcely recall the details, but the next thing I knew Tom was dead on the floor and I was holding a bloody stapler. This isn't good, someone could come in at any-

"Hey Tyler, got a moment to-"

Jannet, why'd it have to be her. As her head appeared around the door I hadn't any time to think before she joined Tom on the floor. I needed to clear this up before anyone else saw. It was almost time to go home, the offices would be empty soon. I peered outside my door, and found to my surprise the lights had been turned off. I didn't stop to think why, seizing the moment as I begun to drag the bodies through the door. Suddenly though as I neared the elevator the lights flipped on.

"Happy birthday, Tyler!"

The decorations of a surprise party appeared around me, as just like that the voices of my coworkers faded as the reality of what I was doing sunk in. I stood their frozen, unsure of what to do. I couldn't run, they all new me and my face. No, there was only one option. As the first scream was let out I charged the person closest me, grabbing at anything I could reach as a make sift weapon, moving with a speed and velocity I didn't know myself capable of. And then everything was quite. My employees lied around me, cold and motionless.

I deposited their bodies in the lake later that night. Whatever the reasons behind it, I'd just killed 10 people I'd worked with for years.

Crap, now I need to find some new hires.

I love that the diablo 3 ultimate edition is already going to have bonus items not included for day 1 retail purchases. This world is crazy. So I get the ultimate edition, come home, and I'm already missing out on SotC and Tlou crap, wtf?! lol

Outbound calling and probably $10.50 per hour, just part time.

It's for a state college, so while it is technically marketing, we're A) only calling potential students who have expressed an interest in SLCC and B) there is zero pressure/pushiness. Right now we're just basically reminding them that registration for fall is open and asking if they need any help with the registration process.

Not trying to actually recruit you, just wanted to clarify that I'm not that dude that calls you during your dinner to sell you car insurance or satellite TV or whatever.

Even if you knew my last name you wouldn't be able to find anything about me Stephen. I just googled my full name and I wasn't anywhere in the top 20 searches nor was my picture in the first several hundred google image search for my name. Last name is probably even more common than my first name is.
