But still...this year is nothing compared to last year's Gamescom. Sony really lucked out MS had such a shit showing, but still got beat with the media stuff MS announced. Games...eh from both. Sony got a bit of an edge there. Nothing great, though.

Ehh, I was thinking about picking this up and streaming tonight, but with no reviews in sight I'll probably hold off. Seems to me that forcing that touch stuff onto a controller could be disastrous.

Oh, and is anyone around there PS4 to see what the deal is with this P.T. game?

Sucks that MS went full-cocksucker and locked up a 3rd party exclusive like that, but anyone pretending that Tomb Raider is a console seller is insane. The last one was a very good game but that's about it.

Plus, everything I'm reading is making it sounded like a long-term "timed" exclusive. Reminds me of when Titanfall was first announced as a Boner exclusive and everyone was suggesting it was just timed until MS threw more money at EA to get it as a permanent exclusive. I expect that to happen with TR as well in the coming months. And if it does, that's fine. I'll survive without the new Tomb Raider.

I played through the trilogy on 360 and got all but the Omega, Citadel, and Leviathan DLCs, plus the Mass Effect Trilogy PS3/360 release didn't include all of the DLC, so I didn't feel comfortable putting down more money towards an experience I mostly already had.

 
Just decided to rewatch the first half of the conference since it sounds like I missed so much.  Love the beginning of the montage with the pyramid, hoop, box, and cross buttons.  Very snazzy looking.

I'm bummed about TR because I really did love the single-player of the last one, but there's still enough cool shit on the horizon that I'm still going to get a PS4 soon. If it comes to PS4 eventually, great, I'll play it. If not, maybe I'll get a used Xbone a few years down the line to play it.

I think the only MS exclusive that could really make me want an Xbone immediately would be an announcement of a proper Banjo-Kazooie game.

I think it shows a bit of desperation. I am still surprised when I see moves like this from Microsoft. There is no way their XBone sales are that bad, that they need to resort to tactics like this. They act like the generation is only 3 years long and they must do everything in that time to win.

The Tomb Raider new sucks since it was already said that it for Holiday 2015 which was already going to be a wait.  Now if it comes to ps4, it'll probably be more like late 2016.  Bleh.

Also the fact that the dev was all "but don't worry PS4 fans, if you like TR, you can buy some downloadable junk and an upscaled old game!"  Yes, giving you my money is exactly what you are making me want to do.
