By the time I started playing adventure games I couldn't even get VIII to work on my machine. Now they've got glide wrappers and such but judging by the videos I've seen I've missed...not much. God those graphics are bad even for back then.

But they have this too:

Upgrade to Digital Pro = Digital Pro without Game = Season Pass

So you have two options to get either cheaper or more expensive one.

How many will choose the expensive route?

I got a $1 order to go through last time no problem, didn't even have to edit the html or whatever. Just used the custom box and put in a buck, worked fine.

Not that I got any keys yet.

Given how game companies that normally like to put games on multiple platforms got for "timed exclusives" - i.e. Remedy w/ Alan Wake; BioWare w/ Mass Effect 1 + Jade Empire; Capcom w/ Dead Rising 3; & Crytek w/ Ryse: Son of Rome...

...I'm guessing Rise of the TR will be a timed-exclusive for a good while on the XBO, then later get a PC port.

Maybe some 6 months to 2 years down the line.

At least, if and when we get Rise of the TR on the PC - hopefully it'll be a "Definitive Edition" (Complete) w/ every piece of DLC + extra content right out the gate.

If it's like previous versions, the "Upgrade to Digital Pro" is a limited time offer. Both the Black Ops 2 and Ghosts upgrade options were removed shortly after release.

It exists mostly for those who want to upgrade their base game pre-order to the higher tier.

On a slightly related note, it looks like they recently removed Call of Duty: Ghosts Digital Hardened Edition from the Steam store. Other digital stores still seem to carry it though.

What time did you get your order to go through? I was able to use the custom box and enter in $1 without editing the page @ 12:05 AM MDT this morning. Created an account, paid with PayPal, order went through, and I received my keys right after on a separate page.

Try logging in to your Indie Ammo Box account, click on my account on the top right of the page, then find "My licenses products" (I think they missed the "d" key and hit the "s") on the left side of the page. It should bring up your keys. Or just use this direct link if you're already logged in.

What a whacked out bundle site. They introduced a new meaning to the term variable pricing.

If you didn't get any keys, it might be cuz you didn't make an account before checking out.

Protip: Always make an account before ordering with all bundle sites.

I managed to get an order in for a dollar by editing the page, right before they fixed the BTA price and the order limit.

I got my bundle at 7:36PM HST.

Nah, I did get my keys. I just couldn't find them on the site. Checked my spam and saw my email from IAB which sent me to the key page. No problems.

Hope they keep it up and fix their pricing quackery. Good show for their first bundle.

 
I have a KQ VIII boxed copy. Bought it on day one back in the day and never could get into it, I even enjoyed Dark Vengeance more (after the patch). Granted I was never such a KQ die hard fan, but even I could see the mess they did.

I am coming up on 1000 games on Steam, but rather than make #1000 the big deal, I am actually going to make the last 25 a big deal. Thus I am looking for your overall Top 5 games or if you want to make specific recommendations based on what I own and play, my game list is here. From this I'll build my Top 25 and plan on getting them during the Fall/Winter sale.

 
Hmmmm, so Risen 3: Titan Lords is out....and it's got a heavy focus on pirate-y stuff + sailing ships, reviews like GameStrategy are saying.

It's just also got some traditional-fantasy stuff also thrown in for good measure, as well.

If changing your price structure every 5 minutes, often where the minimun is $4.50-$5, is a good show I'd hate to see a bad show.

Honestly I think they had this idea running a new bundle would be just like Humble and a large portion of people would pay well above the minimum and then they panicked when only cheapasses paying $1 were buying it and started amateurly editing the hell out of their page.

Good show for the games and the price (when it was $1). If they go back to/stick with that, I'll be interested in seeing what else they pull out.

Apparently Valve just changed a ton of items in the Steam database. One of the games was Atom Zombie Smasher demo, which has been stuck in the game list in my profile for years for no reason (I own the complete game.) It was still there yesterday, since it was listed as a game, but it got changed to "Demo" and it's gone now.

My game count is still 1000, though.

Edit: And no, it's now 998. Wonder what got changed?

This is my greatest fear: that Steam will remove some of my games and I'll never notice.

You misunderstand, the "license" for the demo was still in my account details, but I'm guessing that since the demo's definition was changed, the item is no longer listed in my profile.

The profile also doesn't list a ton of DLC packs, but they're counted in the DLC count tab.

... actually I was going to get a second shot anyway. I was going to contact Steam support to remove a bunch of dead multiplayer-only games from my account. >_>

In my heart, though, Neuro5i5' game will always be number 1000. <3 I'd be replacing the dead games with greenlit stuff I've bought over time.

I think it was because there were two games with "free trial" weekends this week, so when those ended, they removed them from your library, and thus you're back under 1000.
