Oh well I still vastly prefer digital anyway.

BTW, if anybody cares, I started FFX tonight (couldn't before because of download issues). It's really, really good on the Vita. I was a bit concerned when the opening movie had a bit of framerate problems, but that passed and I've not seen an issue since. It's weird that there's so little touch interaction, though. And I keep trying to move the camera around with the right analog but nothing happens. The music is great but I'm disappointed there's no way to listen to the Japanese audio track instead.

I don't know that I'd have been happy with the graphics in the PS3 version as the textures are fairly simple. They didn't upgrade them much. Not really seeing jaggies, though, and things look quite clean and good on the small Vita screen.

I've never played FFX before. I'm pretty happy about getting both games for $20.

 
I really shouldn't have started FFX. It's soo so long. Luckily I can keep up on my 1 game/week avg on my other Vita and PS3, I guess. Plus I'm 4 games ahead right now anywya.

The timing was awesome for me. If it was the other way around, I would have bought the physical. Then be pissed it became 20.00 digital. I prefer digital for this game. I wouldn't ever sell it. So the benefit of physical is lost on me. Ass clown.

I like physical because of box art. I know it sounds weird, but I like looking at the graphics/drawings on the boxes. I guess it's the artist in me. I also prefer having my stuff physical vs. digital too.
 
i prefer digital for vita as long as i get it at a good price.    i occasionally get physical for games i think won't drop digitally anytime soon -- Demon Gaze, for example, and Natural Doctrine next month.  Then i sell them.   Every other game i've bought physically for vita i ended up selling to buy digital on sale (NFS, Killzone, etc). 

Anymore i just look at physical as things that slowly lose value the longer i don't play them.  At least if i buy digital (on sale) it's a fixed cost and done and over with.

Went shopping, got jeans and tank top for free because of coupons :) also tried to make a haircut appt for this week but my hairdresser doesn't have anything open for a month so I have to wait to get my hair cut :(

I did laundry all day, while downloading some games to my PS3 at my girlfriends parents house. Good news is Sleeping Dogs actually downloaded and installed, but still Saints Row IV will not install the 3rd patch. I had the same problem with Sleeping Dogs, so I will just consider this a win.

Got Tomb Raider for free with PS+, haven't touched it. Haven't played Uncharted 3 either. Didn't care for Uncharted 1 or 2 much, either.

Safe to say, Indiana Jones-style games aren't make or break for me when it comes to buying a console.

I can refer to her as a barber if it makes you feel better ;)

I do need a haircut though, my hair is too long, need to cut like 3-4 inches. You guys are lucky, you get a haircut like once a month, pay like $10-$12 and are done in like 20 minutes. I go get a haircut and it's like $70-$80 and takes anywhere from an hour to three hours depending on what I have done. D:

Thats because guys go monthly or more often I should say instead of waiting an entire year. So you get it all in one go instead of quick visits.

I know, but still, I get a little jealous sometimes. Especially since if someone messes your guys hair up you'll be back to normal quick, they mess my hair up its fudged up for awhile.

I normally go three times a year, but I haven't been in almost a year, so I'm way overdue. My hairdresser has been bugging me too because she wants to see my baby, last time she saw me I was pregnant.

If they allow people to get trophies for other users then I'll be pissed. I know rules in trophy acquisition are bent quite a bit, but this seems like crossing a line to me.

It's a virtual couch, as they call it. That would mean you would sign in to your account to play mp games and they didn't elaborate for the sp ones.

What the fuck would anyone want that for? They can't play the new Tomb Raider when it comes out. Yeah, they could wait 6-12 months for it to be released on PS4, but they might as well kill themselves if they're gonna go that route. TOMB RAIDER!!! YEAH!!!

It's disappointing, but c'mon people... fucking killing me...

I only played that one time with you. Damn 41 deaths I thought I died more than that while playing.

 
So EA's press conference has been what...Sequel, DLC, Annual, Sequel, F2P, Annual, MOBA, MMO, New Bioware Game seems interesting....oh wait 4 v 1 multiplayer for PC...not my cup of tea...and wrapped up with an annual.

Yep exactly what was to be expected.

Yeah, I can't remember the last time a game frustrated me as much as this one has. Just when I think I'm getting the hang of it, I have a string of matches that bring me back to earth. It's annoying as fuck because typically when I commit to a game I should be hitting my stride by now and that just isn't happening.

I've said it before, I'm not a beast when it comes to online but I'm definitely above average. I don't base everything on K/D, but it can be a nice measuring stick for some comparisons and usually mine hovers around the 1.3 - 1.6 range depending on the game. There's been a handful of times where I've come close to just saying " fuck this game" with all the frustration I've been having with it, but oddly enough I'm also having a lot of fun. Maybe because it's so different, but unfortunately I think that's why I'm struggling. I need to start doing a little more studying up on it because I get that feeling that I'm missing some simple tips/techniques.

I'm surprised I'm anywhere near a 1.0. ratio. I haven't been on in about a week. I'll send you a message if I see you playing and I have some time. Having at least one other person with a mic goes a long way in this game.

I pretty much play Surviors exclusively, definitely the best mode imo. Yeah I haven't played much because I'm preferring to play with actual people here than randoms. Played hundreds of matches on PS3 and just want some actual social aspect to it, even if its just bullshitting between rounds. Top and mpaullin I've played with the most but our schedules dont seem to align very often at all and the one time you invited me I actually fell asleep after booting up the game, haha.

Yeah, I know. That's what I'm getting at.

When they first announced the feature one scenario they brought up was you could have a friend help you get past a part you were stuck on. That's fine if you're stuck, but you shouldn't be earning trophies for stuff your friends are doing. That would be complete bullshit. Man up and do that shit yourself. If they end going that route then why not just give me all the trophies that my friends have? They earned them but no reason I can't have them too, right?

But if it goes down like that and people want to take advantage of it, that's their choice. I don't see the point in it though. If they do this it just makes trophies mean even less then they did before, which wasn't much to begin with. But I enjoy going after certain trophies and I'm proud of some of the ones I've earned and this would just mean that anyone could have them regardless of whether they put the effort into it or not.
