Good luck to you. I loved the game, but it is one hell of a grind getting to 75% complete. Maybe if we start a board for it Backlog will finally play it. Thing is, I am not sure how many people would have even bothered getting that plat. What the hell...

I'm playing it next, but I doubt I'll bother going for the plat. It'll probably be on my list of games that I plan to go back and plat but probably never will.

Gotta finish up the Far Cry 3 plat before I start it. Hope to have the co-op stuff done tonight, and hopefully the story and most of the trophies cleaned up by Sunday.

Do you recommend a single playthrough on Hardcore for the plat or two playthroughs (one on Normal for everything but the Hardcore-completion trophy, one on Hardcore with just the story missions)? I started with the intention of doing the former, but a tip on PSNP says going for every trophy on Hardcore is frustrating, whereas PST.org recommends the single playthrough in the trophy guide.

If you aren't going for the plat, the game will take you no time. The longest part about story mode was causing chaos between a couple missions to open the next one up.

Yeah I read it's short if you just wanna blast through it. I'm not gonna go that route though, probably something in between. Just take my time and have fun with it.

I believe I did enough to finish on Hardcore and then changed the difficulty down to get the rest of the stuff. Is that even possible? It has been a really long time.

Everything is tax free? For our tax free weekend the type of stuff that was tax free was pretty specific. Pretty sure gaming consoles were not on the list.
Yeah, everything up to $2500. Excluding things like gas, tobacco, meals.

They do it every year around this time. Last year, this chick my wife worked with came in the Monday after tax free bragging about how she went out shopping and got her kids all their back to school clothes, and then hit the grocery stores and stocked up on meats and other things she could stash in her freezer. My wife didn't have the heart to tell her that clothing and food is always tax free in MA. Some people definitely don't realize that though, and that's why you'll drive by some place like Old Navy and they'll have a big "Tax Free Weekend! 8/16 and 8/17!" sign out front.

I played Just Cause 2 on 360, and I don't think the achievements had any difficulty requirements. It's definitely a fun game, though. I may pick it up on PS3 and play it again.

Pretty sure I did two playthroughs of Just Cause 2.  I think I blasted through hardcore and then went back and did everything else.  Or the opposite.  Oh who the fuck knows.  I know I wouldnt have done the 75% on hardcore though.

These signatures are annoying, though. Take up too much goddamn space and some people have animated gifs in them. Likely going to switch 'em off again but I'll let it ride for a little while at least.
I ignore every signature that doesn't have a gamercard in it, makes it a lot nicer. I have like 13 pages of ignored sigs on my Ignore list. I wish snakey would get rid of that stupid fuck ing image at the bottom of his sig though, it serves no purpose and just extends his sig for no reason.

Seriously guys, what the fuck is up with the placement of the options button on the PS4. It sucks ass, thats what up.
You'll get used to it in a few days, then when you go back to PS3 you'll go to push the button there and start cursing again.

I like the PS4 options/share locations actually.

munky still needs to put his gamercard in his sig.

Oh ninja too.  But I'm not sure we could survive without his super awesome quotes from stupid anime shows that nobody likes.

Poor wording on my part.

That said, if you went for the plat now, how would you approach it--one playthrough or two?
Let me translate that last post.... "Hey, can you give me advice on how to go about beating your time, please?"

Seriously though, I don't know. I would read the trophy guide thread and the posts under it. As long as I remember it being, I seriously doubt I did it all on hardcore, but I don't know for sure.

I was a bit surprised they even renewed Penny Dreadful. The very few people I knew who had watched it seemed to mostly give up on it before it got good. I might would hold off and see if it sticks around longer, but I ended up liking the first season. You just have to be OK with fantasy type stuff (werewolves, vampires, and such) or it will totally miss the mark for you.
That's pretty much how the premium cable station's work (at least for Showtime/Starz), unless it premieres as an unmitigated disaster they renew it early for a second season to try and give it a boost and create the perception that it is doing well then quietly cancel it at the end of the second season if it doesn't pan out.

Wish I could find a clip online of the full seance scene in episode 2 as it is pretty intense, episode 3 is as far as I got as I downgraded my cable package. Will netflix it when it is released as I liked what I saw.

Where is Tyler anyways? Normally he's posting all over the thread by now. Did he get left at the golf course?

Edit: nvm, I see he posted now
Working 1030-7, but today is that last day of that schedule for at least a few weeks!!! So I don't get on CAG til like noonish when I got all my morning work taken care of.

I was gonna consider getting Lego Marvel for PS4 from the Gamefly sale, but it sold out in like 4 minutes.

Seems like it would have been a fun easy game to stream, and something some of you may actually like watching.  Stotch seems to think I stream shitty boring games for some reason.
