Our garbage disposal died and I know enough to avoid plumbing DIY projects. A guy that used to live in our neighborhood has done some plumbing work for us in the past and my wife called him. What I didn't know is that his main job is now running a BBQ food truck. He showed up at my house in the truck. Oddly, right before he got there my wife had gone to Shane's Rib Shack to get us BBQ for dinner. Turns out, I now have that for leftovers today and ate stuff he had left from his day of cooking instead. The brisket was a much better choice than the chopped chicken I had ordered from Shane's.

Wonder how many times anyone has ever had a person come over to do plumbing work for them and ended up buying food from them too.

I found half of an old McDonald's cheeseburger on the back seat floor of my car the other day. Damn kids! But… it wasn't moldy. It was like a styrofoam brick. That's McDonald's.

The boss may be easy, but getting to the boss door is hardest in the Land of Darkness because it's dark :)dunce:) and the enemies are no joke. Most of the enemies in the LoD are in the Maya, so going to the latter first is preferable because you can practice killing them and learning their patterns.

LOL. Someone was actually listening while I was streaming last night.

She left after dinner to go play Trivia with some friends. She went to the grocery store on the way back, her hands were full with what she bought, and she couldn't get the door unlocked.

Stotch, just ignore the Darkness monsters when you play RL and make it to the boss door. Health doesn't matter. Once you find it, let yourself die, use the architect, then just warp to the boss until it's dead. The Darkness was a pain in the ass and I never did fully explore it or get used to the enemies there--there's no reason to, either. Not unless you plan to go for the plat, anyway.

Thanks, but I platinumed RL like a week ago, so I'm good. And I never used architect after beating the first boss.

Yeah man, your mic picked up pretty much all of what you both said. When you were playing, not so much.

Tyler came in after you left and told me changing the in game audio would help with picking up the mic while playing. According to him and Bums it helped a lot. Sorry I was too much of a noob to know that when you were around.

BTW, Tyler was all jealous that you checked out my stream since apparently you have never shown up to his.

 
It figures that for the short time I was able to watch Gator's stream before working on the MGS3 plat, he didn't say anything so I could experience his accent.

In the setting of every game, turn down the in-game volume and sound effects. That is the levels that Twitch is streaming at.

Honestly, if you are OK with it, I honestly recommend turning them all the way off, or to the very lowest level possible. It improves voice chatting so much on the streams.

Made a huge difference on my RL streams. Apparently the music was loud as fuck at the start. In Spiderman 2, Spiderman's voice is ridiculously loud as well.

So that was you. I misunderstood the numbers at the beginning. I thought the little man was how many people were watching and the chat bubble was how many were in the chat. Since that was 0, I was a bit confused. Tyler straightened me out on that as well. My apologies.

Wife has her RN pinning ceremony today. A 10 year journey (take 6 or 7 years off to have kids) is finally done!

Unfortunately, this means I may get stuck with the little monsters more often. (Which I've done this summer, and havent managed to kill anyone)

Hopefully I can get back to playing Tomb Raider soon. I'm enjoying it more the further I get in.

What's weird about this is that eBay gives you a shipping discount if you print the label using their service. It goes from $2.99 for a disc for me to $2.42. I'd guess some people have their own discounts and the like, but still it seems easier to use eBay's unless you're selling so much that your discount beats theirs.
