Under Defeat is pretty short. Each run takes ~30 minutes once you get decent at it...you just have to make 8 of them for the plat, is all.
Only 6. Just got the plat. I stacked the Extra mode runs with a difficulty I didn't clear.

Gonna pop another 15 trophies for sound shapes real quick.

I saw a copy of DP: DC at Walmart yesterday. I almost picked it up ($30) since it's the first time I've seen it in the wild in forever, but I passed.

I bought a Plus card. It doesn't matter if I put it in on PS3 or PS4, does it?

So how is the actual shooting/gameplay of Deadly Premonition?  I mean, do you guys just love it because of the weird wacky story and characters? Are the actual gameplay sections even enjoyable?  Or are they just a chore you have to do to get to the next part of the plot?

I haven't been around that much, but I figured you all really needed to know that I am eating Popeye's right now.

Just leaves Deadly Premonition and Mirror's Edge (rebuy) left to decide on. I'll probably grab them both, but need to watch more DP.
Fixed

I thought Destiny wasn't included in the offer, though.
I looked at actual physical ads this weekend. Target does specifically say Destiny isn't included in the deal, but BB doesn't rule it out. Tyler and anyone else who is getting a ps4 this week at BB, the fine print also says the GCU membership that comes free with a console purchase is the full 2 year membership.

Getting an xbone madden bundle and destiny free and 2 years of GCU free is a pretty damn good deal if you could stand owning an xbone.

And Ninja streemed some of Slender, it actually looked kinda fun. As far as I could tell, all you do is run around collecting notes and then this dude pops up out of nowhere to scare the shit out of you and try and kill you, so you have to run away.
I think there are more objectives once you get further in, but I doubt I'll ever get there because as you saw I'm a huge chicken. I sort of feel games like that are more fun to watch someone play than play yourself, though if you're curious you can try the free original (it doesn't look as nice and isn't as involved as The Arrival, but the basic gameplay and atmosphere is the same): http://slendergame.com/

DP is a poor mans RE4 in terms of gameplay but the story is weird and interesting enough to play it through the main missions but thats it.

Y u steal the poll form neogaf tyler? Lameass

I know Tyler will like this post.

I saw some of you talking about the bucs panthers game earlier. I was at the game
. The bucs are who I said they were. Bad offense with a pretty good d. I thought the d would be better but clearly they can't pressure the QB. And then the o line sucks and mankind got injured. at least they made a game out of it and had a chance at the end.

Yes, I had by far the most trouble on 50. There's a couple tough ones in the 40-49 area but 50 is definitely the toughest.
Speaking of ultra, I just started it up and got perfects on the first 8 or 9 levels. I already figured I was going to get a grip for my vita, but I've never wanted one as badly as I do now. Ouch.

What battle? Is your BB staffed with illiterate morons?
Other threads are saying that it's not going to ring up with the 2 year GCU since it's a pre-order and that I'll have to do a return/rebuy.

Return/rebuy sucks because I used the 10% movers coupon (so I'll have to go get another one) plus $300+ on gift cards which I'll have to wait for the money to be put back on before I can re-buy.

I thought my page down key was stuck or something. I pressed it and it looked like it was only moving down a few pixels. Nope. Just a triple post.

I'm sure Tyler will like it because of the "pretty good d" part. But thanks for not belligerently posting babble all day :) And Bucs looked OK except for their QB.

Watched it (Twin Snakes, anyway) on YT. Didn't want to play a PS1 game for the original, and don't have a GC/Wii for the remake. Glad I watched it since the story carries straight into the second game. If I hadn't I'd be completely clueless as to what's going on.

Anyway due to that I completely missed the controls aspect until I started MGS2.

Here's a video showing the first boss fight that's pretty close to how I played it (I was on the left side instead of the right, and never had to heal):

I'm just having a lot of trouble understanding the love for the game when there's so much tedium around the controls.
MGS came out in 1998 and MGS2 came out in 2001, that's the best explanation for the controls issue.
