I just got yelled at on the local buy/sell Facebook page by this woman because I asked her if she ran a puppy mill. She's got litters from like five different breeds for sale.
I wonder if the PSP sold more in the same time period. I would almost bet that it did.Aw yeah, ~3,000 XB1s sold in Japan over the first week: http://www.destructoid.com/xbox-one-sells-just-3-000-in-japan-following-launch-281267.phtml

Wow, it's very impressive that you have so many "0.00% Ultra Rare" trophies from Fibbage. :lol:If people want, I can host another Fibbage party tonight.
I enjoyed reading Destructoid's review. I have the game on hold at my library; depending on what I think of it, I may buy it later on.Didn't realize reviews for Hyrule Warriors were dropping today. They look to just be okay, but I am strangely compelled to get it.
I kind of wish someone was doing one now. When I am at home, I have Watch Dogs to play. Work time though...If people want, I can host another Fibbage party tonight.
I really really hate it when an Executive Director uses the wrong form of ensure/insure. Several people use insure every time it should be ensure.
I guess thats why you guys hate it when I use YOUR wrong too?
I assure you there's nothing complex about it or its systems. It's just jargon like you'd find with any other game. You shoot aliens and level up. Get better gear. Repeat. Of course there's ways to do this more efficiently and that's what's being discussed. Now stuff like the Souls series?? That's what reallyThe more I see you guys post about Destiny the more I am glad I didnt get roped into the game. Seems like a lot of research and work to play it.
that's_the_joke.jpgI think I missed something. You were talking about Destiny, then you switched to some GOTY. Which game are you saying is GOTY?
I was able to PM to BB last night for this in MD and there are no brandsmart locations in MD. It shows up in the BB system as a store they PM.A place called Brandsmart is selling Destiny for $30. I've never heard of it and it's only in south Florida and parts of Georgia. People are successfully price matching at other stores, though. Might be easier if you live in-state. GOTY for half off is one heck of a deal!

Nah, PSP is finally dead in Japan. They've finally moved on to Vita.I wonder if the PSP sold more in the same time period. I would almost bet that it did.
Huh?!I was able to PM to BB last night for this in MD and there are no brandsmart locations in MD. It shows up in the BB system as a store they PM.
The manager did not want to do it at first and i said check your system. He checked and said it was there. I would go as soon as you can since it is a YMMV thing.Huh?!
*makes plans to go to Best Buy before Sunday*
Would be nice to drop a code or two in the thread. If people want, I can host another Fibbage party tonight.
Thanks. I'll try to coordinate things so I can do other stuff in the area and not potentially waste a trip. The manager did not want to do it at first and i said check your system. He checked and said it was there. I would go as soon as you can since it is a YMMV thing.
A code for what? I posted my twitch stream in the thread. The code changes everytime there's a new game, and whenever there's a new room code, I post it in the twitch chat so people can try to get in. I'm not coming back to the thread every 15 minutes and posting a room code that is useless to anyone not watching the stream.Would be nice to drop a code or two in the thread.
Uh...no, it releases next Friday (9/26). http://www.amazon.com/Hyrule-Warriors-Wii-U/dp/B00KWEHBAG/Oh man, Hyrule Warriors is releasing I today and had a release day embargo? That really sucks, I guess the game is pretty shitty. Whenever there's aero ease day. Embargo it means that the developers totally lied to the consumer and made a completely shitty game. But despite that, I'll still get it and put 100 hours into it because it has one thing I like.

My backlog has no time for "decent", thank you very much.Pretty decent reviews so far for Fairy Fencer F, though not from any sites I usually read. I have checked out ZTGD a few times.
Edit: Apparently it's around 20 hours long, Pete.

For what it's worth, it currently has a higher average review score on Gamerankings than the jrpg you're currently playing. Not enough reviews yet to pay attention to that number though. My backlog has no time for "decent", thank you very much.
Maybe for $15-$20 in a few months, I'll pick it up.
Fairy Fencer F looked decent to me before its release based on the gameplay videos I watched. I love the Tales series, and most of the complaints regarding ToX2 have to do with how they reused environments from the first one and the fact that the main character is a bit over-powered.For what it's worth, it currently has a higher average review score on Gamerankings than the jrpg you're currently playing. Here's the review from the site I write for. This one's not by me, but score is similar to GameRankings average.Pretty decent reviews so far for Fairy Fencer F, though not from any sites I usually read. I have checked out ZTGD a few times.

Yeah by no means am I saying a higher average review score means a better game, just pointing out the scores. I guess I should have said "good" reviews; I consider 7 to 7.5 to be good, and both of the mentioned games fall in that range.Fairy Fencer F looked decent to me before its release based on the gameplay videos I watched. Based on that review, it sounds like the combat system may be a little similar to the one seen in Grandia games. Here's the review from the site I write for. This one's not by me, but score is similar to GameRankings average.

Personally, I'd give ToX2 a 9 so far. The first I would rate 8.5.Yeah by no means am I saying a higher average review score means a better game, just pointing out the scores. A 9 out of 5? You only use a 5 point rating scale.Personally, I'd give ToX2 a 9 so far. The first I would rate 8.5.
What about PMing only peeps you want the room code? Is that a thing?Cording to the google, there's no way to make a twitch stream private. So I guess if we keep playing Fibbage, we have to deal with random cheaters.
Only thing I could think of would be to stop broadcasting when the code is about to be displayed and start it back up once everyone has the code. In theory you could have everyone in a party chat to get the code. Definitely a pain in the ass, but it would work.Cording to the google, there's no way to make a twitch stream private. Um...no, I don't think so.Based on that review, it sounds like the combat system may be a little similar to the one seen in Grandia games.
I need to dig in to these jrpgs I have, but I'm conflicted on which one to start. Will ToS seem worse if I play it after ToX?Personally, I'd give ToX2 a 9 so far. The first I would rate 8.5.
Yes, but I was being consistent with Backlog using the Gamerankings scale.A 9 out of 5? You only use a 5 point rating scale.
I'll watch it if they hook up.Does anyone care about this first image from Powers, that PS-exclusive TV show?

Yeah banning them just prevents them from chatting. And then they can just create a new twitch account and be back on in 30 seconds anyway.I don't mind playing with randoms, I just hate the cheating. I even tried to ban one dude who was obviously cheating and he was still getting in, so I guess banning them just prevents them from chatting?
Maybe? Some claim that ToS has one of the best storylines in the series, but its graphics are obviously less-detailed than ToX's. I still plan on playing ToSC myself at some point.I need to dig in to these jrpgs I have, but I'm conflicted on which one to start. Will ToS seem worse if I play it after ToX?
Yeah, Vita is doing ok in Japan, it's over 3million sold. Obviously a far cry from the 20mil that PSP did but at least Vita is starting to make waves. Video game consoles are down across the board anyway because of mobile gaming, I don't think the 3DS is on pace to hit 20 mil, though if the New 3DS is popular that might push it over the edge.Go Vita Go! Sell! Sell! Sell!
Yeah I toyed with the idea of selling some of them, but I figure good jrpgs are just going to get harder to come by. Can't hurt to have a handful on the shelf that I haven't played yet to scratch that itch in the future.Maybe? Hopefully once people get their hands on the Vita they will tell their friends that the 3DS is a piece of shit in comparison and all the good software is long gone at this point.Yeah, Vita is doing ok in Japan, it's over 3million sold.
